The sales rep at Home Depot was great, but this was not the case for the contractors they hired to install the carpet. The installers were rude, bullies, and said inappropriate things. They asked me not to watch them, that they knew what they were doing. They scratched furniture of mine, they were careless. They informed me not to come up to them at the Home Depot location, but I did. They did not clean up after themselves. They did install the carpet and it looked fine, but I had debris under the carpet that was installed, which they did not sweep before installing the carpet. I am so upset that new carpet was laid on top of dirt, basically. I spent an additional 8 hours of touching up paint from the scratches they caused, which is ridiculous. they removed 7 doors in my house, but were not allowed to put them back on, so they said. I contacted Home Depot regarding this, Home Depot stated they were supposed to put them back on. I had to wait a few weeks for someone else to come back to install my doors. I have never seen individuals rush through an installation like that in my life. I finally called their corporate office in Atlanta, who sent me a gift card for my troubles. I was reimbursed about $200 for a service that cost me around $1500.00, for a service I was not satisfied with.
Description of Work: I purchased carpet for 2 rooms.
