I had a leak from my bathtub drain to the basement. I had 2 companies provide estimates. The first estimate was around $600. Holtmeier's estimate was $550. During the repair, one of the pipes fell through to the basement and cracked the sink in my basement and Holtmeier replaced the sink at no charge. I was impressed with their professionalism. I would highly recommend their services. Prompt, friendly and fast.

Arrived on time, was courteous and competent. I showed him the problem and he replaced the pipe, and checked for leaks. We had a pleasant conversation while he worked. It was a very short job, time-wise. Have had no problems since.

Wouldn't consider a company who can't help consumers stuck in the middle of a remodel.

During our furnace installation, we noticed that the hot water expansion tank had a leak. We called Holtmeier plumbing based on Angie's List reports. I called on a Friday. They were courteous on the phone and anticipated that they couldn't come out until Monday. Then Andy Holtmeier called and said he could fit us in. We had the part fixed within a few hours of that call. Nice to have it taken care of so quickly.

They were prompt, efficient, and even cleaned out my clogged kitchen sink. They took care of everything. I was very pleased with their work. They honored my Angie?s List discount.

It went excellent. I've been using them for years. Everything about them is great.

i paid a premium for them to come on a sunday but it was worth it. water was rising in my finished basement and i could not keep up with my shop vac.p

He came the day after I called. Was very prompt and efficient. Didn't chat much. Got right on the job. I was happy it got done so quickly and so well but I was surprised at the cost. What I didn't care for was the receipt that I got didn't have the cost breakdown on it - just the total. I didn't realize that until he left. I would have liked to have had that for comparisons with other plumbers in the future. Though I liked the quality of his work better than anyone we have had before and we would probably use him again not having the separation of parts/labor bothered me. He was also very clean.

Excellent. The serviceman, Tom, was very professional. Neat appearance, well spoken, arrived promptly and performed the service as competently or better than any plumber we've used in the Cincinnati area. He seemed very knowledgeable. This disposal was a warranty replacement for a defective model, but the warranty did not cover installation, so we had to contract separately for this, and I chose Holtmeier based on their Angie's reputation. Clearly it was a good choice, and I'll certainly go back to them for the next service. They are a bit pricey, but worth it as far as I'm concerned.

I called a few plumbers in the morning to see if any could come that day. I was thoroughly impressed with the woman who answers the phone for them. She was a delight and very professional. She said they could come in the afternoon and would call if they could come earlier. They called at about 10:00 and said they could be there in 15 minutes. They arrived promptly and it was honestly one of the only times I felt truly comfortable with a handyman or contractor in my home. He had to go in through the wall panel to get to the plumbing so it left a mess on the floor. He even cleaned up after himself. He showed me everything that he was doing and told my about my pipes and gave me an estimate to one pipe replaced. I felt like he was very genuine and honest and I will use them again. It's hard to find a good plumber. I thought the price was a little high (and I forgot to ask for my angie's list discount. dang it.) This is the 4th plumber I have used in the last few months, but for the professionalism and trustworthiness I think it was worth it. Thank you Angie's list.

I made an appointment for the day after I called. Andy was prompt and very personable; he explained what he was doing and pointed out things I could do myself to prevent problems from reoccurring. He cleaned up nicely after himself.

I called Holtmeier on Wednesday and made an appointment for Friday morning. They said they would call at 7:30 on Friday to set a time. They called and said they'd be at my house between 9 and 10. They arrived just before 9:00 and finished the job in about 20 minutes. The toilet runs like new!

They had to take up the sidewalk and dig down to fix it. They do very neat work and are very particular as well. They show up on time and clean up well.

Andy introduced himself upon arrival, went to the bathroom to look at the drain and then went downstairs to see where the drain flowed so he would understand entire situation. He then used his equipment to clear the drain, which barely flowed. He also removed and fixed the drain opener/closer for the tub, which was stuck in one position. He left the area completely clean and was finished within a half hour. He gave me a small discount compared to other first customers because the referral was through Angies List.

I selected Holtmeier because they were rated #1 on Angies List. I called at 11 a.m. and did not indicate an emergency. They told me if they were not coming in the afternoon, they would definitely come the next day Then she checked, and found the owner would be here by 2! He came around 1 and was very professional. The repairs required new parts, and he had them with him. He made absolutely no mess. The cost of the job was appropriate for the job at hand. I highly recommend this company, and can't imagine using any other plumber.

My experience with them went very well. They were absolutely fantastic. Their price was fair. They were punctual and professional.

His is a bit high, but you get what you pay for. He does a good job and uses great materials. I would recommend him to others.

Everything went well. They came in and did a good job, and we did not have any issues. They applied for the city permit for us, and took care of the permitting and inspection. Their prices were right in line with the other companies we looked at, and we were very happy with them.

I a very pleased with the company. I called this company because of the great reports they had on Angie's List. I talked with Maggie, the receptionist, who was very nice and helpful. Tom arrived at the time they said he would. He is a very polite young man, very professional, and I was totally comfortable with him working in my house. He was very honest about his advice, as I had a couple of other concerns. He assesed them and told me that I did not have to worry about them until things went bad, for example, starting leaking. I really appreciated his honesty with me on those matters. Sometimes in the reports people gave them a "B" on price, but to me they are totally worth it if they are a little higher. I will always call them for my plumbing needs. It is important to me to have a great company that I am comfortable with. They are coming back to do the other job that I need done. They were great and I would definitely recommend them to others.

They wanted to charge us just to come out to our house. He said that if he couldn't do the work then, he would have to charge them again for the next time he came out as well. They did not do any services for me. They told my husband that if he didn't quit asking questions they were going to charge more. He was very rude and unprofessional.

Always responds quickly. Came in and looked at problem. Gave price for repairs and new faucet. Repaired it professionally. Billed me and price was exactly as stated. Time frame was not too long to make repair. Would definitely use again!

Cutting drain pipe was neccesary?,before running augar.A small augar did not unstop drain ,a larger augar did the job

The valve on the water inlet to my house was leaking prolifically (several gallons/ hour) in my basement, so I needed someone to come as soon as possible. I called Holtmeier Plumbing and they had someone come to my house within 2 hours. Andy was very courteous and professional. He stopped the leak right away. After contacting the local water department to turn off the main water supply in my yard, he was able to replace the old valves (on either side of the water meter in the basement) with more reliable ball valves.
