Their price is very reasonable, more reasonable than the other companies.

Tom, and his crew called in the am and stated they were interested in doing the job the day of the call in the afternoon. when i came home, near the noon hour, from running a few errands I found that the tree service was already here. They were a very professional and courteous group of men, mindful to their surroundings. They got right to work on the old mulberry tree in the back. I left them to do their thing peeking out the window after about an hour into the job only to realize they had cut quite a few limbs from the tree already leaving only the trunk and a few branches at the top. I had to leave for work before the job was done, but as I returned home in the dark I realized how much of a blessing it was to have that tree removed.

It started well, as they gave me a very good estimate. I just couldn't actually get them to come out and do the work.

We thought the estimate was reasonable.

Overall, my experience with Hilltop Tree Service was excellent. They were very responsive to my first call and provided a very fair estimate for the cost of the job (not the lowest bid, but not the highest and explained why they had to charge more for certain parts). They worked with me to find ways to lower my bill. They left the logs, which reduced the labor cost for hauling. I gave the wood away as firewood. I had to move the logs from the yard to the "giveaway" area. And, as mentioned above, they did what they said they would do (and more) ahead of schedule. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I would definitely use Hilltop again. They're nice folks & they did a good job at what I think was a good price.

COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT. MY ONLY NEGATIVE COMMENT IS THAT I NEVER MET ANYONE FACE TO FACE. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THE WORK WHILE STANDING IN FRONT OF THE TREE. THEY CUT OFF A LOT MORE THAN I HAD EXPECTED. HOWEVER, IT WON'T HAVE TO BE DONE AGAIN FOR A GOOD WHILE NOW, AND THE LIVING ROOM SURE DOES GET A LOT MORE LIGHT!

DID EXCELLENT WORK, & HAS DONE SO ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BEFORE. THE TREATMENT SUGGESTIONS & TRIMMING FOR THE MAPLE PROVED TO BE JUST THE RIGHT SOLUTION, AFTER IT SUFFERED SERIOUS CICADA DAMAGE LAST YEAR. VERY IMPRESSED.
