We did not use them because they were way overpriced.

I was very pleased with Hicon. Although the estmate came back a bt higher than I expected, I had no doubt that the company was qualified to do the work. I also chose them, over a handyman, because I was unsure what they would find when removing the facade. It was possible that we would find more signifcant problems with the facade due to water damage and I wanted the more experienced company to be able to handle the worst case scenerio. The employees that worked on my project were very professional and took great care to protect the surrounding landscaping (and pond directly under where they were working)! They went over and above expectations in trying to match the existing grout (so the repair wasn't obvious). Some of the walkway tiles were damaged and they replaced them making the final walkway look even better than I expected. The project manager, Dave Wetzel, did an excellent job of communication with me. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately and he made sure I was satisfied every step of the way. I will hire this company again!

I was very impressed with the quality of there work. They did a great job and were very punctual, professional and effecient. They also cleaned all debris so you couldn't tell they had ever been here. GREAT JOB!

They showed up on time, completed the job quickly, and professionally. There was a pesky little leak that kept recurring and they came back until it was fixed. That leak was not part of the contract. I would definitly recommend this company.

Excellent work. David (salesman) was professional and easy to work with - extremely responsive and easy to reach. The two workers were friendly and willing to explain what was going on with the damage to the chimney and how and why they do what they do to make the repairs. As they tore down the existing chimney they showed me four cracked sections of flue liner. They protected the roof, arrived on time and the estimated duration of the project was accurate - 5 working days. At first I thought the price was a little high but after receiving another bid and doing some research I learned the price was in line with what it takes to perform this type of work. They anticipated replacing 1or 2 sections of flue liner and I expected an add to the price when I learned they had to replace 4 sections of flue liner - they did not ask for additional money. The brick match was great. I was concerned about this since the brick is 35 years old. I would highly recommend Hicon.

Marty (the sales rep) was very responsive through the pricing phase in pricing a few options for us. After selecting the final design, the patio was complete within 5 days, from initial excavation to completion. The finished patio looks great and the quality of the installation is excellent..

They did excellent work. They were a friendly crew and provided timely service. They were helpful in providing information on where we could find sealer to prevent the damage from occurring again.

Hi-Con performed a good job on all 3 areas of the job. They corrected the poor workmenship of the previous home owners who didn't hire a quality company to install the existing paver patio. Hi-Con fixed our front patio which was not level and collected water. They redid that area and now it looks great with no water issues. They also fixed the edging which again was not done properly the first time. For the new paver patio, they also did a great job tying in the existing section with the new and created a curved area to go around a tree. They did a great job all around including removing some existing shrubs. They also fixed a number of low spots in the existing patio. The patio looks great and the Hi-Con Team was courtous, professional and easy to get a hold off. The only fault was that their bid was a bit higher than other companies, but I guess you get what you paid for and we are happy with the result.

Dave came out to place a bid on our work and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and generous with his time. Masonry repair is not cheep and I wanted to be sure that the work we had done would be high quality. After this meeting I felt that Hicon would be my best bet on delivering quality workmanship. The work was promptly started and I felt just as comfortable with the workers as I did Dave. All were hard working, polite and professional. Jeffery was the man in charge and did the brick laying. He was a craftsman in the truest sense of the word. I felt that it was as important to him that the work be of the highest quality as it was to me.. Even though they were paid by the job and not by the clock at no point did they rush the work, they took the time needed to do a superior job. Also worth noting; At one point during the job they found that removing the hearth proved to be much more difficult than expected. Dave rented the heavy equipment needed to deal with the situation and never even mentioned passing the cost on to me. I was very pleased with all aspects of my dealings with Hicon. I felt they went "above and beyond" to make sure that I was 100% satisfied.

I received three estimates. Each estimate a number of brick to be replaced. Hicon's estimate was the highest number of brick, and the highest price, but the closest to the number of brick that actually needed replaced. I counted them myself including some in marginal condition. After discussiong the three estimates with Hicon and the type of work to be done, they matched the other statements of work to include replacing the chimney cap and waterproofing the chimney at the original quote.The people that performed the work were very good. Respected our property and landscaping. They were on the job, weather permtting (we had some heavy rain in May) until the job was complete. I am please with the work and the price. I would recommend Hicon to others.

We had an excellent experience with Hicon. Dave was very personable and professional. He was very good at following up via e-mail while we made our decision, but was never pushy or "hard sell". He answered all of our questions along the way as we compared other companies. Once we selected them they were out within a few days to do the job. The workers were very neat and courteous, and did a great job. Dave came by each day to check on progress and at the end to make sure we were satisfied. We were very happy with the quality, the process and the follow through.

Dave was excellent to work with. He was very prompt and professional and answered all my questions. The work was done as agreed and we are very satisfied with it. Cleanup, etc. were excellent- they did such a good job we did not even realize right away that they had been here.

It was a painless process and the work done was excellent. The only reason for the lower score was the price....it was high, but, I have learned that you do get what you pay for....

Hicon was professional, courteous, and responsive... and way more expensive than any other bidder. Hicon's quote was double that of some bidders. I selected one which was about two-thirds that of Hicon. I would happily use Hicon in the future if money were to be no object.

They were unable to give a quote and couldn?t start the work early. It was an emergency for us, so we went with another company. They were very professional.

It looked like Hicon had done a nice job with a pretty extensive repair for the previous owners on the face of our home. From the home inspection we found out out that the home had some water intrusion problems near where the previous work was done so we had Hicon come out and take a look for us. The were very professional and responsive but we ended up not needing their services as we learned the water problem was related to downspout problems vs. masonry issues. While they were there, the Hicon rep did notice we had "weep" holes in the masonry work on the home and gave us a quote on repairing them. We did not go with the repairs because we did not believe the current condition justified the proposed expense to fix them. I believe it was going to be over $800 to address filling holes in a 6'x6' section of wall. From my experience Hicon was very professional and seemed like a good company to work with. I got the feeling that their pricing was high but I did not get multiple quotes on the work so I have nothing to base that on other than gut feel. I would call these guys again.

They were excellent and very professional. I liked that they were old world craftsmen.

They were prompt and did a very good job.

We selected their company because they used a lift instead of scaffolding. That allowed us to have use of our driveway every evening. This was a very good decision since rain set in for 4-5 days and delayed the conclusion of the work on time. They were professional and responsive (they called to on rain days to let us know they would not be there). The workers were extremely cheerful and nice. The only draw back was my expectations were not set for fresh mortar falling down the chimney and splattering in and around the fireplace. All in all a good experience and I would recommend them to friends and family.

Didn't use them as I thought the price was too high.

I wound up finding a friend who was able to do the job for me, and when I let Hicon Co. know, they thanked me for the communication.

The service was excellent, but the price was high. Had I not had insurance to cover the project, I probably would not have gone with them.
