Description of Work: I was extremely pleased with the services provided by both John and Eric. They were both very pleasant and professional and their work was outstanding. Also, Dan Verst, their salesman, was extremely professional and accommodating. I will definitely use Hicon in the future.

Description of Work: Overall, I was pleased with Hicon. We needed to have the pavers in our patio reset. Some of them had become loose over time and others had sunk because the sand underneath it had eroded. I called up several companies that I found here. Two didn't do that type of work but one of them suggested Hicon. Jeff came out and then sent me an estimate. He told me that they would do the work when they could fit it in between larger jobs. He sent me an email telling me when they would appear. The work took a little over a day. I have no complaints about the work itself or the workers. I did have one issue but it got resolved. Jeff had given me an estimate based on two workers for two days. The work didn't take that long and I had asked him before if the price could be lowered if that happened. He sent the invoice for the full amount. We emailed back and forth a few times and I told him exactly how many hours the workers were here. In the end, he took off about $290 and I was satisfied and paid the bill. Therefore, I would give them an A- as a grade.

Description of Work: I can't get on the roof to see the chimney repair work, but from what I can tell it looks like they did the work that was itemized. They also repaired a window in the back of the house that looks fine. My reason for rating them a C is because of the salesperson. I had to keep on him to receive my itemized estimate, then call at the time he said they would be able to do the work, and I sent him an email when the job was finished that he forgot to have the workers repair some mortar spots that he said they could do in two minutes. He told me he would take care of this but hasn't done so yet.

Description of Work: Not sure of the date believe it was in July. They came looked at the project but never called back and never gave estimate. No I shouldn't be the one to follow up.

Description of Work: Hicon built a beautiful Allen Block wall for us almost a decade ago. It's still perfect.

Description of Work: I called and talked with a sales representative that handles retaining wall quoted. I gave him an overview of of the work needed including the following details: Retaining Wall (approx. 84'long- 7 blocks high) - Includes Reading Rock Allan Block,wall caps, geogrid retaining fabric, drainage pipe, crushed limestone base gravel, angular limestone 57s for backfill, moving existing rock slab steps to a new location, providing all necessary equipment and labor. | |I asked if he wanted to come out and check out the project. He said he would send me a quote via email but nothing was ever sent nor was I called. | |

Description of Work: WE LIVE IN A 110 YEAR OLD HOME WITH A MANSARD ROOF. THE MASONRY AT THE VERY TOP OF THE WALL ON ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE HAD BULGED OUT MANY YEARS AGO DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF THE SLATE ROOF. WE WERE SELLING OUR HOUSE SO WE HAD IT FIXED.
