Outstanding. Received 3 estimates for a bathroom remodel. All 3 came in at about 14,000. Got Carl's name from a friend who he had done numerous jobs (other contractors from Angies List). Carl came in with an estimate for 9000.00. He made suggestions on how we could save money on the project. After receiving the estimate we decided to use Carl and expand the project to include installing a drywall ceiling, replacing a shower, replacing a toilet, and installing a vent fan in a basement bathroom. We also had him replace and existing vent fan in a 3rd bath with a more powerful fan. The original bath was a total remodel of a bath, vanity, toilet and re-tile the entire room. After starting, my wife and I upgraded and added on to many of the project repairs. At each turn Carl would guide us to a less expensive option (often we went with the more expensive solution anyway). As with other remodels our older house had some surprises for Carl, but he put in extra time to get the project done within the time frame he had given us. We had guests coming to stay and needed the work done within a two week window. During the project our garbage disposal broke and needed replaced. Carl overheard me discussing it with my wife and offered to install it for us for free if I purchased the one I wanted. It was above and beyond. Couldn't be happier with their work.

responded same day to my call for estimate. arrived within 3 days to provide the estimate for work. started the work following week and completed job on the 5th work day. brothers Carl and Christ did the complete job. both professional and courteous throughout. The did a good job and I am happy with the completed project. would definitely use them again and intend to do so when ready for next project.

Contacted Carl Hess owner for estimate. Arrived on time for estimate, came in lower than other estimates recieved. Credentials and references were checked and verified. Mr Hess arrived every day on time, each day the amount of work accomplished was great. We would receive a call almost every evening to ensure we were happy with workmanship as it progressed and if we had questions or concerns. The workmanship was perfect and the job was finished sooner than estimated. We would definately use Hess Remodeling again.
