Hercules Moving & Storage

Scheduler called on the Monday of the week we were moving to reconfirm the time and details. They work with hourly windows so we scheduled 1 to 3. Driver called 30 min in advance and arrived on time. Move out was very fast with movers clearly experienced. Move into new location was equally quick. Very pleased with this company!

Movers were on time; called ahead; moved all items efficiently and with care. They were asked to move items from basement they had not known about in advance without so much as one grumble. They were (3 of them as promised) pleasant, made us laugh, and repeatedly told us "of course, sure, not a problem, happy to do it" They did exactly what was promised at the time of the booking and then some. I have experienced several moves and this one by far was the least stressful without question because of their professionalism, even enthusiasm. I recommend this company absolutely without reservation. You need to move, you should call them with complete confidence. The lady in the office is also exceptional, professional, respectful and efficient. Double 5 star company.

They were not available on the date I need to move.

The Hercules movers were very professional. The office staff were courteous, courteous, helpful and prompt. The two movers who did the job were very efficient and courteous. They asked for specific instructions and followed them to a tee. They explained that they would have time to move extra items and so we were able to have additional bulky items taken care of, which was greatly appreciated. They protected the banister and our belongings with clean pads. They worked together very quickly while still being careful - no scrapes or dents in the tight hallways. No hidden fees. Well worth the price!

Everything, including my antique furniture was safe (a couple minor scratches). The movers were patient, listened to my concerns about certain pieces and took their time to make sure everything went smoothly. They were polite, professional and kept me calm all day.

The service provider did half of the job and left. The situation was that we were moving from two apartments into one house. Hercules brought the contents from one apartment to the new house. Then they said that they needed to have lunch and said they were out of time and that we needed to book another deal. This was a local move. I felt that they were trying to pressure us to purchase more service.

Ed & Manny called at the beginning of the arrival window to let me know they were on their way. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got right to work. All of my possessions were handled with care and anything not in a box was wrapped and secured in the truck. Ed & Manny hustled! it took just under 3 hours to move everything - and they weren't just leaving everything in a giant pile for me to sort through. They asked where each piece of furniture went and looked at the labels on the boxes to make sure everything ended up in the correct room. I would definitely use Hercules again (and def would request Ed & Manny).

The movers were courteous, punctual and professional. They moved several pieces of antique furniture with ease.

It went really well. Movers moved lots and lots of heavy boxes (record collection), wood and cinder blocks/bricks (used to shelve collection) along with over twenty years of accumulated stuff. Never heard one complaint even though you could tell the move was probably harder on them then the average move. They moved funiture in some really close to impossible places in the house and did it all in a timely fashion. There was some minimum damage to some of the furnitture that is the build from kits type, but I think that is expected with that type of furniture.

It went fairly well; however, I think that they should have asked some more questions beforehand because they sent two people and it was really a three-person job. I didn't know that because I don't move that often but it took a really long time. They should have done a little questioning beforehand about how much stuff I got in order to determine whether they'll send two or three people and it would have been much better if they sent three. They were good at scheduling.

Awesome moving company...they brought me the moving supplies, boxes and tape. Two gentlemen moved my heavy furniture from my second floor apartment to my three-level home. Once I had unpacked, the same man came back to get the empty boxes! I've never known a moving company which brings you the boxes and picks them back up when you're done!!

They were a little late, but it was only about 15 minutes. I would definitely use them again.

The price was low but they weren't very careful. A piece of furniture ended up twisted but they were helpful in getting it replaced

They moved all furniture from living room, dining room, kitchen, office into the garage while I had hardwood floors put into the above areas in my home. They moved it all back in after the floors were completed. They were efficient, prompt, and helpful.

They worked very hard and did a very good job. They had to make many trips to and from the truck and up and down 3 flights of steps with the items. Also, they had to park the truck at one end of the building, walk a ways and then up the stairs to get to the new unit. There were three young men that did the work. They never complained and they just kept moving. It was a lot of money to spend but it was well worth it. I don't think they were overpriced as the job took about 4 hours.We did the packing ourselves and everything was ready to go when they got there. The thing that stood out to me the most was their work ethic - they just kept moving the whole time. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a dependable mover, who will be on time, and not complain. They did what movers should do as far as taking care to protect the furniture and possessions. They are at the top of my list now. Everything worked out well and we were very pleased.

Three movers showed up exactly on schedule. They were courteous and worked unbelievably hard. I have moved countless times and have never seen anything like their work ethice or courtesy. They took good care of my furniture. I bought dinner and insisted that they take a break to eat. They never slowed down even though it was terribly hot. I would recommend this company without hesitation. They were reasonable, professional and polite. They took good care of me. I had hurt my back the day before and couldn't move without pain. They made a stressful situation into a great experience and I am extremely grateful for their wonderful service.

They were excellent. They packed everything. They were timely. I have used them before. I was very pleased with the price.

They damaged several large important pieces of furniture, as well as the house we were moving out of. The movers were unprofessional, late, lost pieces to our beds when they took them apart, failed to put them back together, and failed to put clearly marked boxes in the correct rooms. After they were paid and gone I found 15 boxes in our garage that were clearly marked for 2nd floor bedrooms or the basement! The worst part of the experience was dealing with the owner over the damaged furniture. He strung us along for over 2 months before we finally recieved payment for 2 of the items--and that was only because I called a local news station to help with the situation!! We were only paid for the 2 items that a professional furniture repair company quoted, but the owner said whatever couldn't be fixed would be replaced--that of course didn't happen. It is definitely their M.O. to drag out damaged furniture issues as long as possible until people get tired of dealing with them and give up. The company claims they are fully insured, but fails to tell you that you will only be reimbursed for 60 cents per pound of furniture (ie, if you have 600 worth of damage, but the furniture only weighs 100 pounds, you will only receive 60 dollars for the repairs!). They are insured the minimum amount required by law. Make sure you always see the details of the insurance policy before hiring any moving company! DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!

They broke some things that were very personal to me. I wouldn't use them ever again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. They took a lot of breaks, their charge was $250.00 more than their estimate. What they didn't break, they scratched up.

The workers were very nice and professional. My complaint is this: When I scheduled the move I made it clear that my apartment was a 1,200sq fully furnished town home that would need 3 men. They sent two men. Although, the men worked consistently, the move took longer than expected. About half way through the unload, two more men showed up and moved very quickly.

FABULOUS!! It did take longer than expected, but there was nothing to be done about that. They were terrific and accomodating.

They had a committed time from 1-3 and called to see if they could arrive earlier. This was a very pleasant surprise. Usually companies keep you waiting. They arrived and moved the items from my house and also moved some items that were staying into the garage. We then went to a storage unit where they loaded up some additional items. At my new place they promptly unloaded all of the items, taking great care as they moved a few very heavy pieces up a twisted flight of stairs. They took apart a desk and then put it back together. The crew was extremely polite and very courteous. I have used Hercules a number of times and have no hesitation in recommending them both on price and service.

The two movers were awesome. They were very careful with my furniture and really worked to give me excellent service. The service was billed by the hour and they did not waste a minute. I have moved several times and I would Highly recommend this company.

This was the third time we have used this company. We were so impressed with them the first 2 times. We had the same crew those 2 times. For this move I called to request the same crew as before. I was told 1 of the crew members was available and the other member was on vacation. They sent 1 of the original crew and substituted another person. The new person carried our furniture in a way that made me uneasy. After they left, I noticed nicks on a dresser, bookcase and nightstand. My brand new washer has scratches on the face plate. I feel the new member they sent really did them a disservice. I would not use this company again now.

Movers were on-time and worked hard without taking a lot of breaks. They did not damage any furniture and put everything where we wanted it in the new house. The only negative comment is they charge extra for moving a small piano (not a grand piano), but overall a good value for the money.
