The move went very well. Hercules was very responsive when we sought estimates and information. We anticipated the move taking 8-9 hours and two trips based on previous moves with other companies and that's what it took for our 3 man crew. The crew was friendly and professional, took care with our furniture and belongings, and were responsive to any special requests we had. Some of the crew members smoked, but all did so outside the home and made sure to note to us when they were taking a smoke break so we'd know that the time wasn't being counted against the move (which we felt was a very professional thing to do). We did not experience any damaged items and the crew was patient with us as we had those "last minute" packing pieces to complete while they worked around us. The team leader made sure to tell us their plans for moving the house, including what they were going to do with specific rooms in terms of path in and out of the house. We have a cat who we had to keep safely in a room and the crew was careful to make sure she didn't get out. It was a smooth process and we greatly appreciated Hercules' help.

The physical move went as described in the company's services description, but: An item went missing (theft or lost on the truck?) during the move and the owner was indifferent in addressing this issue with me. The missing item was immediately brought to the attention of the front office staff, and subsequently to the owner, who requested i fill out his insurance claim form to resolve the matter. This suggested to me he would follow his company's 'normal process' of resolving a lost/missing item. Over 4 weeks later, and after 14 requests to the front office to speak with the owner, the owner denies responsibility for the missing item and did not use the form he requested i submit, telling me he is not going to follow through with his 'normal process' of submitting/resolving a claim, and therefore ending the missing item claim with no resolution. The company is questionable in its handling of property and handling follow-up to any issues raised. Based on : a missing item (either theft or lost on the truck; it is a fact the item valued at ~$600 was in my possession before the move, and not in my possession after the move) the owner beginning a process to resolve the issue and then not following through with his own normal process multiple attempts to speak with the owner (Mr. Ron Hirth) going unanswered (14 phone calls over 30 days) when i asked Mr. HIrth why it has taken 30+ days and 14 calls to his front office to get a call back from him, his response was simply that he was busy, and out town I would not recommend this company and have filed a formal complaint in the appropriate venue.

Truck was waiting for me at storage locker. Moved stuff to new house, then went to old to get rest. Nice men! Hard workers! Everything went great! So pleased with Hercules!

Someone on the corporate end estimated it would be a 4hr move. The movers decided that it would be 8hrs and wanted the money up front. When I asked them if they could hold on while I called their corporate office, they left. When I called back and contacted Angie's List to assist me with getting the company to come back out, the movers refused and said that it was because they felt threatened after I told them I was going to call corporate. The people in the office were nice but the movers that showed up were not. I waited 3hrs for someone to call me back and did not receive a response. They claimed that they were unable to get a hold of the owner who was out in the field. The people I spoke to at Angie's List and in the Hercules office all agreed that I was not rude or threatening to the movers. I would not recommend this company at all.

The 2 movers showed up 2 hours earlier than scheduled while we were still having breakfast, had to drive back home in the middle of breakfast. We only have one bedroom but I still purchased 2-bedroom option just in case. The movers were friendly but they were very very slow. For an one bedroom apartment, it took them SIX HOURS. (2 apartments are only 3-5 miles away) We ended up paying for almost another $300 on top of the $382 we had already paid. When we arrived at the new apartment, they just threw all the furnitures into the apartment without asking where to put those furnitures. When we received the receipt, we were so surprised to see there was a "distance fee" which no one informed us before. Here's the best part: on the second day, we found out some furnitures were damaged so called Hercules Moving & Storage to complaint about this. Stephanie answered the phone call and asked us to send some pictures. One day later, we received a voicemail from a "513" local Cincinnati phone number on our phone and left only one word "F*****" We will try to figure out who left this voicemail and might take legal action against it.

On time, solid, great crew! They protected everything. Great job disassembling/reassembling furniture.

Excellent job. We were super pleased. The two men were right on time, very professional and extremely hard workers. They just never stopped! They were so fast and efficient. They even took certain items which I hadn't packed yet (which I asked them to) . They also moved all boxes and items into the area that they were marked for. One box got wet because it was raining all day and they pointed it out very quickly so we could unpack it first. No damage to anything. I just thought they were great! The price was even less than quoted. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again.

We received an in home visit and estimate for the job about 2 weeks prior to the move date. Come move day, the 3 man crew showed up within the 30 minute window they gave us and immediately went to work. The group was very efficient and took great care with the boxes and furniture. Once they were loaded up, they took a short lunch break, and met us over at the new location. We were able to direct them where to put the furniture (which room/floor, etc.) and boxes without any issues. It was a great experience and made our moving day go smoother than we ever could have imagined. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks again!

Very professional!! They worked very well together, the lead spoke commands as they lifed, and the helper repeated the command, to ensure they lifted together!!!

My positive experience started when I scheduled the work. I called just a few minutes before closing time on a Thursday night. The person who answered the phone (Stephanie?) was very helpful -- she answered all of my questions and never made me feel like she was in a hurry to get off the phone. The crew was available the following Tuesday (which was perfect for my schedule and quicker than I had any right to expect). Stephanie called on Monday to confirm the details. The two men (Jared and T) who arrived were courteous and professional. They were careful with my home and my belongings and finished the work very quickly. They made sure all of the furniture was exactly where I wanted it. A few of the pieces needed to be taken apart to get them into or out of the desired room -- they did this additional work quickly and (from my perspective) effortlessly. They were also nice guys, which is always a bonus. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again.

It ended terribly the company left us without movers over holiday weekend and heard from no management for five days. At that point they were unapologetic and rude. It was nightmare that wish that would end and only did after we hired other.movers.

It went quite well. The guys were very hard working, careful, on-time and professional. The ROI was great for using these guys. The services were done within the estimate.

The move went well. They were on time and moved quickly. I hired them to move a client of mine out of a 1 bed room apartment to a new one. Move started around 9am and they were finished by 11:30am. We use them all the time if a client moves and have never had problems with them. They've even had to move some tricky pieces of furniture and they take the time to make sure it is done right. I would definitely recommend them.

Their rates were reasonable see below the rate info we were given: "This is for Furniture Only To give you an idea of cost, we charge $22.50 per quarter hour ($90 per hour) for one of our 24-foot trucks and two moving professionals. The clock doesn?t start until they arrive at your location and it stops when you tell them they are done. To save you money, we charge a $90 per job transportation fee instead of the typical practice of running the clock from the time we leave our offices until the time we return. There is a two-hour minimum per job. This is for Furniture and Boxes: To give you an idea of cost, we charge $27.50 per quarter hour ($110 per hour) for one of our 24-foot trucks and three moving professionals. The clock doesn?t start until they arrive at your location and it stops when you tell them they are done. To save you money, we charge a $110 per job transportation fee instead of the typical practice of running the clock from the time we leave our offices until the time we return. They were right on time and got to work immediately. They never even stopped for a break! What was really impressive was how much care they put into protecting my things!

Movers showed up on time and immediately started to work. Needed two trips to get all our stuff, but the guys were flexible and courteous the whole time.

They did a good job overall. No major problems and I would use them again.

Truck with two movers showed up before quoted time frame, which I thought was great (about 10-15 early). Promptly moved all items, wrapped them well in blankets and secured items in truck. I asked that they make two deliveries. Furniture items to storage unit and mattresses along with tv to another address. They did so with no problems or complaints! Clock started when at quoted time frame and ended when I said, "Thanks for your help." Movers were great with accommodating requests and loaded up storage unit perfectly. Plan on using them when we purchase a home and move all items once more.

They were fantastic. Efficient, careful and quick.
