Description of Work: Had to move a 500+ pound boimass boiler from basement thru narrow outside basement door. Guys moved to a storage unit. Did an excellent job!

Description of Work: Arrived on time, filled the truck, stopped for their lunch. Delivered our furniture and boxes into the rooms we wanted and even moved items already at the new house into other rooms. Even took three items left by previous owners and delivered them to charity. These guys were quick, efficiant, courteous and professional. I would use Hercules the next time and any time Thanks.

Description of Work: Hercules sent 3 guys to move our 2 floor home on a Saturday morning. Prior to the move, we consolidated all of our boxes into a couple of rooms to make the move go a bit faster. They loaded the truck, had a short lunch break, and unloaded the truck at our new house in just over 4 hours. They were incredibly fast but still careful. We've used them three times now, and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company.

Description of Work: They moved us from 2 bedroom apartment on the 3/4 floor with no elevator to a 2 bedroom 5 floor apartment with an elevator. They did a good job and were nice.

Description of Work: 2 guys showed up, I gave them a quick tour of what was being moved (everything!) and then they seriously busted it out. They moved me out of a 1 bedroom, second story apartment, to a house on a hill and up some steep stairs all in 4 hours. Totally worth the money to not move a thing. They did a good job, were friendly and I'd hire them again.

Description of Work: I had way more to move than I originally planned so they had to make two trips and it took much longer that I anticipated. But the guys were fun and upbeat and very helpful.

Description of Work: Only 3 came when 4 were supposed to be a part of the deal but still got job done. had a very very heavy couch to move and would have gone better with 4 men . As it was a scrape in hardwood floor occurred as couch was moved which we didn't notice at first and landlord kept part of the deposit that was due back because of it. Landlord didn't mention that until 2 weeks after the job was completed . By then we felt to late to call movers and tell them about it.

Description of Work: First pair of movers showed up without calling ahead as promised. We weren't there, since we were told we'd be notified 30 min beforehand. We were there within 5 minutes of getting the call from the dispatcher telling us they were waiting in front of the house. But movers told us they'd been there 40 minutes and would bill us for their wait. When I explained that we were promised notification prior to their arrival and didn't agree to pay for their early arrival, they drove away without another word and didn't return. Dispatcher promised to get us another pair of movers that day, which she did, thank God. But we had 3 nail biting hours of waiting, not knowing whether or not we were actually going to get moved that day. It was 7 pm by the time we were out of the old house and into the new one, when we should've been done by 3. Second pair of movers did a great job, but there was no follow up at all from Hercules. I understand that every company has a bad egg or two, and I appreciated that they found us a backup team. But no apology, no follow up phone call to see if things went smoothly, no nothing from Hercules. I'm a pretty laid back person, but having the movers quit in the middle of moving day was a wee bit stressful and darned inconvenient. A follow up call or email would've been nice. And appropriate. And I'd be leaving a much better review if they'd done so. |
