I called Mike to set up the appt. He was curious to what kind/color of grout we had currently and was going to stop by but our schedules didn't match that day. So he said he would bring different variations of caulk when he came for the appt. When he came for the appt, all he has was a standard white caulk. He did a sample in a non-obvious place and asked if I was happy with it. I said no. We had a cream colored caulk/grout in that room and I wanted it to match. So, he had to run to Home Depot and get the right color. He took a sample with him and came back with a couple of options. We picked the best option and he went with it. It doesn't match perfectly. It's satisfactory. But, the caulk line is very thick which my husband wasn't happy with. After Mike was done, he asked me for an extra $20 for his run to Home Depot. I was upset at this point. He was supposed to bring several samples of caulk with him when he arrived. It wasn't my error that he showed up with only white. I refused to pay him the extra $20 and he left politely.

When I called guttertech, I got an immediate response. They came out the same day, looked at our gutters then told me they would put together an estimate. We received the estimate and agreed to the price. We set up a day to have our work done. We were not in a hurry as this was not an emergency. They could not make the appointment due to some truck issues. When they did finally come and do the job they did a beautiful and professional job. Overall i am pleased with the service and I would certainly use them again.

Heitmeyer Handyman was very nice and personable. I think he would be fine doing small jobs indoors. The concrete work was probably not his area of expertise.

I hired him to do a weeks worth of handyman services around my house. It was all to be done in the first week, but things got prolonged. The work he did was mediocre at best. I have had to personally patch up some of the things he has done. He didn't install properly or finish the kitchen countertops. He has since charged my card for this and he refuses to refund my card. I have asked multiple times for the breakdown of his hours of work, and he has not provided that for me.

The whole experience was very poor service. The first time I called him to make an appointment, he was busy at another job and said he would call me back. He never returned my call, so after about 3 weeks I called him back and was able to set up the appointment and explained the areas of the caulking repair that I needed. He called me twice before his scheduled appointment time confused about when he was supposed to arrive for the job. When he arrived 15 minutes late for the scheduled appointment, I confirmed with him again that I wanted the shower stall base caulk removed and new caulking applied and the wall corners replaced as required, which he agreed to do. My husband showed him all the areas he wanted him to seal up the caulking on the bathroom baseboards and door frame and crown molding in the kitchen and family room. He finished with the work in 1.5 hours and asked us if we were satisfied with his work. When I looked at my bathroom, I was immediately upset when I realized that he had not removed any of the old caulk and just put new caulk over it and I could still see the old uneven caulk lines underneath. My husband also indicated that there were still gaps in the crown molding and the celing that were not repaired correctly but we decided to tell him it was ok just to get him out of our home. He was sloppy in his work and he did not clean up the dirt left from the ladder he brought in, so and I had to clean the floors in the kitchen and family room. I am not requesting any refunds, but I will probably not purchase another Big Deal as a result of this experience.

The problem is ( and I discussed with customer service representative) that he was promoted by Angie's List for PLUMBING. He charged me a foolishly bizarre amount. He was not a qualified man, certainly not a professional plumber. One has to be careful with Angies list promotion from time to time. I wonder now......a profession Plumber would have been able to change all the washers and be gone in 2 hours!!! I have used 5 other contractors with Angie's List. Fortunately they were genuine professionals in their trade. Their work was first class and to my satisfaction. They new what they were doing. They were fast and precise and did the job to complete satisfaction.This man is probably just a handyman, certainly not a plumber.

I had him come to my home to install four new faucets. this is becasue the previously installed faucets were broken, he told me that the washers were rusted and unuseable. It took him all day to install these four faucets. He installed these in my home and they were almost immediately broken with no use. I had him come back, he said it is the faucets broken and it is not his fault, and that I need to contact the manufacturer. These same faucets were put in my parents home by someone else and these are in perfect condition. He over charged me and I still have the same problem.

This was a complete waste of our money. First we had to work around his other jobs to find time. When we finally booked, I took the afternoon off work to be there. He called around the time he was supposed to show up and said he was running a little behind, which I said was fine. Then a couple hours later he said he couldn't show up at all because he had to pick up his son. He then agreed to show up on Saturday. When he showed up, I definitely want to point out he said he didn't do this type of work that often. And as you'll be able to see from my experience with him, it definitely showed in his poor work. I must state that I also gave him a full explanation of what we needed done beforehand so he would be prepared with the necessary tools. Upon showing up and showing him what needed to be done, he said he needed to go to Home Depot because he didn't have grout on him. I thought I paid for a caulk and grout service - and you show up without them? Then after coming back from the store (which took much longer than it should have), he said it would be best if he just grounded down the existing grout where there were discoloration spots opposed to adding new grout. I asked if we could just add new grout, and he said that there is no way it would match - wait, then why did you go to Home Depot? For the caulk he tore out the older stuff, and would then put on new caulk. First off, the application was horrendous. It was spotty at best, and by no means the world of someone who's supposed to do this for a living. He also recommended not putting caulk in one area of the shower where it had previously been installed - saying there was no reason why it should be there. I ended up going back a week later, tearing out the caulk he installed, and redid it myself. Now I must say this was the first time I had ever done this in my life, and it was 10 times better than the job he did. And the area where he recommended not reinstalling caulk? Well after further inspection, it was clearly there for a reason, as there were a few spots where water clearly could have exited the shower into the wall. I'm glad I checked and was able to add caulk there - hopefully before any real damage was done. Absolute waste of money, and it will definitely have me rethink before I buy another Angie's List deal - because apparently they let any odd job put up a deal.

It went very well. He arrived when he said he would. He listened to what I wanted done and let me check it when he finished. He cleaned up after himself and did a great job.

They are on Angie's List. I paid him and it took a while to match schedules to get out here Gerich did the job, got more done faster than I thought he could, worked pretty efficiently, but, he hit me up for a fuel surcharge right at the end. There were a couple of spots that I thought he couldn't miss, but, he did. I give him high ratings and would use him in the future if needed.

Was charged a little extra than I paid on Angie's list, but then he refunded it when the work didn't take as long as he thought it would. Honest and reputable.

Initially I was impressed with Mike's quick response and availability since we needed the wallpaper removed and the rooms painted fairly quickly; however, the rest of my experience with him was not good. He sub-contracted the wallpaper removal and painting to another man (without informing us) who was anything but punctual and lied to Mike about the number of hours he actually worked. Since the wallpaper removal was being paid by the hour, I was not happy to hear the discrepancy in time. When I voiced my displeasure with the sub-contractor, Mike said "he" would be over to work the next day. Again, the other man showed up almost 2 hours late. The painting was done well and the rooms look very good; however, once the painting was complete, we noticed several bark blue paint stains on the light colored carpet. I contacted Mike about these concerns again, but he never responded. He never contacted me again until 4 months after job was completed when he finally requested payment for work. I again expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of professionalism of his sub-contractor and the lack of response to my concerns about carpet damage. Mike did offer to contact a carpet cleaner on my behalf, but at this point (4 months later), I had no interest in working with him any further.

Good pre-work communications, and contractor arrived as promised. Didn't really get 3 hours of work, but the jobs I wanted done were completed. Work was decent, although I had to seal replaced grout in bathroom myself (don't know how he could of done it anyway, as it was wet when he left). Be prepared to pay additional $20 at visit completion for "travel expenses".

Went very well overall. Found problems I did not know I had concerning the kitchen plumbing and showed me the damage before replacing the needed split pipes. The original problem was not solved and the strange sound continues but no more possible leaks were found. The price was more than I expected because I thought there was a coupon advertised. I had not printed the coupon so accepted the price. I believe I was at fault for not asking about the coupon on Angie's List.

I purchased an Angie's Deal of the Day special for 3 Hours of Caulk and Grout Restoration for $99.00. The service provider was Heitmeyer Handyman. Mike was pleasant, responsive and prompt but when I showed him the work that needed to be done in my bathroom, he informed me he did not do grout work. Mike told me what products I needed to buy in order to repair the grout myself. The main reason I purchased the coupon was to have my grout repaired and restored. Mike repaired the caulk around my tub/shower, that's it. The caulk lines are not straight and look very messy. After 1.5 hours, Mike was finished and ready to leave. I purchased 3 hours worth of service. I was extrememly disapointed with the work and with Angie's List for recommending a service provider that could not even perform the work that was offered via the coupon.

.They did a great job. I would recommend them and I plan on using them again in the future.

He was very professional and did a great job on both items.

It went very well. Mike is friendly and very professional. He noticed that my toilet was running and he put in a new flabber for no charge.

Mike had originally told me he would be here between 9:00 and 9:30. The morning of the job he called to say he would be a little late, and would arrive between 9:30 and 10:00. That was fine, and I appreciated the call to let me know, so I wouldn't be wondering if he was coming to my home at all. Mike arrived at 9:45 to start work. He did a good job of regrouting. He did some additional areas around the capping and when he was finished it looked good. He also cleaned out one grout line and redid it about 8: long. He told me to clean it the next morning and then we could use the shower again. Finishing up at 10:45, he was here only ONE HOUR. He was preparing to leave, when he tacked on another $25 for some FEE? and materials. No not only did I wind up paying him the $99 for ONE hour of work, but he asked for additional monies that were NEVER mentioned in the add. I could see charging for the grouting material that perhaps amounted to a tube of toothpaste, but after receiving $99 per hour, it seemed only fair he would overlook that small amount. But hey, to be fair, I paid it. But for some reason I feel like he just might still OWE ME two more hours of labor - wouldn't you say? That's what the other Handymen have done for me, but he didn't even offer. I have to think he walked away from here with a spring in his step and a smile on his face - never looking back. I have used Handyman JOE in the past, and now, Handyman MIKE. Handyman Joe will get my future business due to his fair business practices and his logical handling of labor hours.....

He came the first time and 'stopped' the leaks, admitted my upstairs toilet needed a valve which he didn't have and didn't go get, stating that when his friend came to do the other work, I should have him put it on. Both toilets started leaking again within minutes after he left. I called him and he returned the next week and still didn't bring that valve that he said I needed. He went to buy one and I still leak. Rather than investigate the issue and solve it, he kept asking me what I did to try to fix it because I did tell him that I tried and decided that I needed a 'real' plumber. Benefit of the doubt has been given... He's a loser and I will not have him come back a third time. Don't want him back at my property and to think he referred a friend for a larger job I need done. He even suggested we might meet at Zip's for a burger??? I'm convinced I was profiled and because I have a list of things that need to be done, he must have assumed I was poor trash and maybe an easy lay??? I've had several contractors take advantage of me and hoped that I would find someone honest and hard-working on Angie's List. At this point, I want my membership fee back.

He repaired our disposal, but I feel like he could have spent more time addressing my other concerns.

He was very professional and courteous whenever I spoke with him. I am very pleased with the new gutters.

Great Job! I showed him the work to be done, and he got right to it getting the faucets and drains done. The faucets work great and the tub drains run with no backup. After doing some checking regarding another problem, Mike knew that he could not help me. But he made a referral to another professional that I could call. Really appreciated that!

They came when they said they would, they cleaned our gutters, and made a small repair, which we didn't know we needed.
