They met met at the apartment, assessed what needed to be done and he got it finished up the very next day. Just in time for new people to move in.

I purchased this deal from angie's List last year for a friend who needed her gutters cleaned for the winter. She tried several times to schedule an appointment, but Gutter Tech either cancelled or didn't show.

an estimate was performed andthe gutters were OK for another couple of years. No pressure to buy now. We will ask him back when we are ready.

Played phone tag for awhile. Gentleman was nice enough, but spent an hour of the "two hours for $75" traveling to get the part needed, then returned with his kid in tow. So the kid sat on my couch watching tv for awhile and then in the bathroom watching the repair. Started leaking again a few weeks ago, so it only lasted about 4-5 months.

He showed up on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. A small section of the grouting washed out of a spot around the sink. We probably got it wet too soon.

It was an excellent experience. He is very thorough and I will use them again.

I contacted Mike to take care of a variety of jobs in my home; he came over the same day to look over the work. The jobs were taken care of a few days later, as we had to coordinate each others' schedules. As always, the tasks were done quickly and competently. Just a couple of hours is all it took to get a new, stained bedroom door; have a hole in my wall repaired; and have a broken window fixed. His prices are extremely fair and competitive, in my judgment. In my experience, Mike arrives ready to work and has always done a good job for me. I have used Heitmeyer Handyman many times in the past and will continue to do so.

He filled the holes in our grout in several places and then proceeded to work on my daughter's shower. The water was coming out extremely hot and he did something in there that corrected the problem. Then he ended up having time to caulk the grout in our shower stall. So I would say he did excellent work in good timing and this was some time ago and all of it is holding up great.

After an initial schedule hiccup, they performed work as need. The general quality of work is good.

I purchased a big deal to use towards a deck replacement project. I think the scope was really too big and after our initial meeting the company never contacted us to provide quote or design. We were finally contacted after I contacted Angie's List for a refund.

Not good, this person was jack of all trades and master of none. Did not have the right tools or know how to do the job without my help.

Everything went well. i combined another service (Plumbing ) with the caulking one since I had purchased both from Angies List.

He fixed cabinets, door hinges. leaky faucets,etc.

Everything went as expected. They were very good and came out quickly. They completed the job quickly, as well. We had gutter guards, but birds had still managed to build nests in the gutters. The house is very tall and on a steep hill, so they had to use the longest ladders they had and were fearless!

. I explained the toilet had a continuous leak and probably needed a new flapper. I also said the bathtub had a slow drip that was causing the chrome to come off the stopper. He then had to drive to a hardware store to buy the materials. He purchased an entire flushing system and installed it. He then removed two stems from the bathtub faucet, drove twenty miles to a different hardware store and bought 2 stems.After installing the two new stems the faucet still leaked.He then called a friend of his (a real plumber) and asked for help.the plumber explained that the leak could only be stopped by replacing the stems plus the mating seats on the faucet.This would require ripping out the tile and the faucet.we quickly agreed that we didn't want to do that.By this time I just wanted to get him out of the house. The stems cost $36.00 and the toilet flushing system cost $23.49.He charged $30.00 for extra labor. My $75.00 deal from Angies cost $164.49 in total. So what did I get? The toilet only runs for about fifteen seconds about six times per day and the bathtub faucet still drips. All this happened about a year ago.By this time I assume his on-the-job plumbing practice has lead to improved skills.

He did not install a lot of confidence in me. I was just glad it was a simple job. He put in two faucets. If it had been anything more complicated or on a larger scale, I fear what it might have been like. After he took the faucet off, there was some debris and he wanted me to clean that up, I did. He came in and set the piece on top of the place where I had sprayed the cleaner and not yet wiped it off. When I told him he just said it was no big deal. I was concerned about that. His attitude was not the professional quality you would expect. He went to the store and came back. I ended up paying more for some parts.

They completed kitchen plumbing and it went very well.

They came out for an estimate within 2 days and finished the work within a week. Final cost was exactly what the estimate was. Very professional and did as promised.

We saw a deal for an Angie's List Handyman Service and suggested it to my mother. She bought the deal and had the handyman out to do some work on her house. She was not impressed and worries that she wasted $400. Here is her report: I will not recommend or use this company again. He spent too much time on the phone, going to his truck for tools and supplies and/or whatever. I had to give him a few suggestions on how to repair something and/or hang a picture for me. My toilet paper holder was fixed but he moved it only a inch or so and attached it to the wall the same way it was before. Upon going to a box store I asked how would they fix it. It needs to be attached to a beam. I told him the next day when he returned to finish up and he just shrugged his shoulders. I had it with him.

The job was preformed on time and done to my satisfaction. I was pleased with the job and thought I received good value. I would hire them again.

I was going to put the house up for sale / lease and needed last minute fine-tuning, which I could not do. He went thru my list of very varied items and had no problems with any of them. it went well, the house looked great when he was done and it rented in 3 days.

I saw a special ad from Angies list for rain gutter cleaning. The price was listed for around $75 or so (don't remember now - it was a while ago) I have trees around my house and having recently bought the house and been told that clogged gutters had caused water damage inside the house previously, I decided to have them cleaned. My house is high and large, so I suspected that the price might increase from the advertised price. But I also expected that we would have a conversation on what would be a fair price. It took a long time for the vendor to finally show up. He said that he was flooded with requests for work due to the ad so I waited on him for about 2 months. I didn't mind because it wasn't urgent. When he came he did the work and presented a bill for $275 which was several times the advertised price - no discussion, no notice, just the bill - which I paid. Later that summer when I climbed on my roof and saw that some of the gutters had a lot of sediment in them. The leaves were removed, but gutter cleaning shouldn't leave them half full of anything. In summary, I objected to a different price than what was advertised without any discussion. I was not satisfied with the time it took him to do the work. I had to call him 3 times to make sure that he still knew that I had given him my credit card number. The gutters on my house were not cleaned to my satisfaction.

The experience was very good. The gentleman came and quickly assessed what was wrong. It took him sometime to clear the drain (it was very clogged), but he was able to clear it. He also replaced some parts that were old and corroded. He was very honest and helpful in telling us what to do in the future to prevent any further back ups.

He did a good job; however, he was a bit disoriented about appointment times. He made good though
