+ -1 moreIf they think that they are going to come, do something, and get more work, it seems like you seem to get a more anxious provider. I did question getting new gutters. He just did not seem interested. I would not call him again. I have screens over my gutters, so there was not much cleaning to do. He was not very responsive and did not give me a reason why. I do not think that I would use this provider again.
Description of Work: Gutter Tech of Kenwood cleaned my gutters and did a roof inspection.

+ 0 moreIt was good. He was great and a nice guy. He did a good job. I did not have to pay anything extra. We had to go back and fourth a lot before we got it scheduled. That was the only challenge, was the scheduling. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreI purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and loved it. It was the best investment we made since we bought the house. They came out originally to clean the gutters but they also measured the gutters the same day. They came back about a week later to install the gutter guards. They were superior; really good. It is hard to believe the number of neighbors who have used them. The guy who came out was so sweet. He found little baseballs up in the gutters, took them out and cleaned them off. He threw them out in the front yard so that the grand kids could have their baseballs back. We have recommended them to others and highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I used Gutter Tech of Kenwood for gutter cleaning. They also installed gutter guards.

+ -1 moreThe toilet handle still sticks or you have to hold it down until all water is flushed, however, the running has stopped. One of the outside stems started to leak about 4 months after the repair.
Description of Work: Repaired toilet components to stop the constant running and broken handle. Replace the stems on two outside faucets.

+ -1 moreI wasn't happy with Heitmeyer Handyman. He had to remove some grout and replace it. He didn't come with the right stuff so he had to go get it but then it was to shiny. The grout in my bathroom was just the plain type.

Description of Work: Angie's List special flat price for two hours (maybe one hour) of plumbing service. He used part of that time to go to Home Depot to buy caulk. The day after he replaced the washers in the bathroom faucet, they leaked badly enough that I had to turn them off from the cabinet. When I called him about that, he called me back and wasn't able to set up a time to re-do the washers. Tuned out he was a plumber's assistant, not a plumber. I felt it was a ripoff.

+ -1 moreOverall, I grade Heitmeyer Handyman as A , he arrived on time and completed work in timely and professional manner. It was an all day handyman big deal, because there was not enough work to fill a whole day, he promised to allow me to contact at a later date when I became aware of more work needed... first class customer service in my opinion.
Description of Work: Tightened hanger system that was coming loose from garage cement wall. Replaced ceiling light fixture in basement ...looks so much better, more modern , and I am no longer afraid to use it , I was not sure how safe to use because of the way it was hanging . Placed 2x4 lumber on both sides of open basement stairway to prevent children and small pets from falling through. Reattached patio enclosure which had buckled and seperated from patio floor.

+ -1 moreI had purchased a deal that gave me three hours of work for $99.00. I told the man that I would like all of the old caulk and some of the grout removed and replaced. He did not remove any grout or caulk, but just went over the bad areas. I know that is not the right way to go about this. He finished two bathrooms in 45 minutes, and knew I was not happy with his work. He then proceeded to tell me that I owed him an additional $25.00 for supplies. I asked him to show me where on the coupon an additional $25.00 was mentioned and he decided to "let it go". Overall I was unhappy with his work, and would definitely not recommend him or hire him again. Even though I got a "deal" I didn't get what I paid for. In my younger days I did this work myself and did a far better job than this guy.

+ -1 moreThe company representative, Nick Rakel, was very professional. The work was scheduled and begun but ran into some major problems in trying to place the downspouts because of tree roots. The work had to be halted until the trees were removed. We decided to go ahead and replace the patio not only where the trees were removed but completely around half of the house. Revolution Remodeling and especially Nick were very understanding and worked with us every step of the way. Once the patio was completed (beautifully by Daley Landscaping!), Revolution Remodeling finished the job, much to our satisfaction.

+ -1 moreI submitted a review a long time ago. I found this when I logged onto the Angie's List website because I want to make sure that my membership is not renewed in May.
Description of Work: I was a fairly new member and I had never used Angie's list before. Deal was for gutter cleaning and roof inspection after a wind storm. When I called to schedule the appt., he answered something about another deal he had going - plumbing or something so I don't know how many names the company uses??? I was not home when the individual came. I told him to put the roof inspection results in the mail or leave a hand-written note in my mailbox. My neighhbor, who told me it looked like I was missing a couple of shingles after the storm. I did not know if there were other layers of shingles on the roof was the reason I contacted someone ASAP. My neighbor said the cleaner/inspector was at my home for 2 minutes while cleaned the gutters with a blower but I never heard from him about the inspection results. I called several times and he never responded. Within two weeks of his gutter cleaning, it rained and I woke up to a rush of water coming through the attic and the kitchen ceiling. I called a handyman recommended to me by my daughter. He made the repairs, including the two missing roof shingles. I never used Angie's list again and tried to cancel the 2012 membership which expires in May 2013. I called and was told there was nothing I could do until 2013. I have never used Angie's List again and do not plan to EVER! DO NOT RENEW MY MEMBERSHIP! Barbara A. Mullikin

+ -1 moreGutter Tech showed up as promised and did the work. No issue with the cleaning of the gutters, but they left a mess that my wife had to clean up. They cleaned out the gutters in the front of the house and left the mess from the gutters on the driveway which we had to clean up. For this reason, we would not use them again.

+ 0 moreTotal rip off. I bought the package and as he was leaving he said, "By the way, I charge for rags and mileage so you owe an extra $25.00." There was a little bit of staining where I had expected the grout to be stripped out and for new grout to be put in. He just applied clear grout over it. Did not behave in a professional manner. The price would have been reasonable if he had done a good job.
