Mike and his crew were fantastic. They gave me more than I expected. My home has never looked this good.

It went very well. Mike and Mary are the owners and they along with three other painters on their crew worked extremely hard, were diligent and very professional. Treated my house like their house and painted it with perfection and an attention to detail that I truly appreciated. I am using them again in a month and know they will bring the same attention to detail, perfectionism and work ethic to that job. I feel lik ea have a brand new house and its wonderful!!! Doors were painted along with ceilings, woodwork, windows all using high quality of paint and expertise of each painter to make the finished product worthy of a magazine article. Really, the house looks great!!! And the painters were friendly, professional and arrived on time everyday starting the minute they walked thorugh the front door...it was reassuring to have Hatton Quality Paint on the job and the "quality" part of their name says it all the job from start to finish, from product used and painters picked, job performed was topnotch quality!!!!

Painting resumed and the new color is fantastic. The next area was the downstairs paneled family room. The paneling need multiple coats of primer followed by the finished color. While this was going on I decided to also have a built-in bookcase converted to a media display. Again multiple coats of primer and finished paint along with some minor reconstruction to fit the t.v. made the space warm and updated. All details were attended to and very appreciated. Mike even noticed a door to the outside needed adjustment and offered to fix it. Bumpers were added to cabinet doors as a nice finishing touch. The crew were thoughtful guys and I was able to come and go trusting them to work in my home unattended. They cleaned up each day and arrived promptly each morning.

Simply stated, Mike and Mary Hatton and the entire crew of Hatton Quality Painting are professional and knowledgeable at what they do and, as such, provided us with an exceptional exterior house painting job and experience. We were more than pleased with all phases of the project from the timely inquiry follow-up and estimate, to the power washing of the house and hand cleaning of the gutters, to the final exterior painting--all done to our complete satisfaction. Careful attention to protection of landscape plantings and job site neatness was also demonstrated. This was our first experience with Angie's List. We selected and interviewed several recommended painting companies before selecting Hatton Quality painting. We had a good experience on both fronts, would recommend Hatton Quality Painting to other Angie's List members, and will use Mike and Mary and their crew for our interior painting project in the coming months.

They were able to come several weeks early and despite many days of off and on again rain and chilly weather, they did what they could nearly every day. What really impressed me was the attention to detail and the amount of prep work that went into the job. They power washed, sanded, caulked, glazed, replaced bad wood, sealed a gutter, and cleaned light fixtures. Some of these things were on the to-do list, others were done as the need was discovered. There are very few places where edges were not precisely painted (not easy on the narrow slats over the panels of screening on my rather large porch, which was painted both inside and out). They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each painting session and disposed of accumulated debris (cigarette butts, drink containers, etc.) It was clear that they take pride in their work and want their customers to be completely satisfied.

Mike, Mary and their work-hard crew did a superlative job; the house is ready for a picture postcard, or for a sale sign. The first day there were six people on the job and four people working the second day to finish. Mike came to the house the same day as the initial call to provide an estimate. Work date was estimated for October 31 but actually began work nine days earlier (that's called under promise and over deliver). A number of windows needed scraping and sanding, but the real challenge of the job was scraping, sanding and repainting (top grade Porter oil enamel) many feet of peeling and rusting iron roof supports and iron railings.It would have taken me weeks to accomplish the same results and would have been no better than Hatton's work. Seeing the results the price seemed reasonable to me, and Mike provided good tips for do-it-yourself painting techniques and buying the best performing materials.

Excellent experience. About the same price as two other quotes. Extensive and complete prep work, priming, and finish. Gave great advice when asked. Arrived on time every day, cleaned up every day, very professional.

Excellent paint job on the house. They were very thorough and did an excellent job on the house painting. Mike offerred to fix a broken step and the concrete work they did fell apart a few months after they worked on the step. It took multiple phone calls and e-mails to get a status on fixing the step. Finally, one year after the original concrete work they repaired the step again. It is a shame that this provider, who does excellent painting work, is so difficult to get them to respond. It took a formal complaint to Angie's List to get action. Key learning: Use Hatton for painting because they are excellent, BUT DON'T LET THEM DO OTHER JOBS.

The exterior was extensively prepared (washed, scraped and sanded), then primed and finally painted. I was impressed by Hatton's attention to detail and the way they cleaned up after every day of work. Mike and his wife really care that the job is done right.

The job looks great. They were here when they said they would be. The clean up was great and I would use them again!

I was apprehensive of hiring Hatton Quality Painting because it took him more than a week to return my initial call. I did allow him to come, and I'm glad I did. Michael Hatton and his wife Mary make a good team and they hire their painters carefully. After each of the days they were here, the painters left my yard in good condition. Mike and Mary came each day to supervise and/or work on the job. At times when they were not here, the painters worked hard and were careful not to get paint where it did not belong. Most impressive was the quality of work. As the job was drawing to a close, both Mike and Mary made multiple trips around the house with me, looking for problem areas. There were not many. Anything I mentioned was immediately and graciously fixed. When the job was done, I was completely satisfied.

They came out to do the work on 4 July without charging me anything extra. They were very respectful and professional. They cleaned the gutters and did most of the work on the first day. The second day was 8 July and they finished the drywall. While they were here they even offered to patch up some other areas of my wall without charging me anything extra. The total job was professionally done, and really high quality as we can't even tell that there was damage in that area of my basement previously. We highly recommend them and would definitely re-hire them for any future work if needed.

They came yesterday morning. There were four of them. Then after lunch, three of them left and one stayed. Then, they all came back. They were here until 4:30 or 5 o’clock. Then, they came back today to do something else and they will come back tomorrow to finish. They did an excellent job. They are nice people. They do quality work. I am very happy with them. I would say the price was probably fair. They told us they would not come when it rains and that is what they did because they were doing outdoor painting. So, that is okay.

Mike was just wonderful! I had several companies come give estimates on the work I needed done and his bid was by FAR the most competive. He and his wife were a pleasure to work with. They got the job done quickly, even with some bad weather involved. I knew I had picked the right person when he told me that he had painted a historic home in the area that I had watched be painted and just loved. Mike did such a good job my neighbor even came over to talk to him about the work she needed done and hired him as well! I will be using them again when I need some interior painting done.

My wife and I are very pleased with the work Mike and Mary Hatton and their crew did on our house. The paint job was well done with none getting onto the brick. The house, driveway and deck look like new. Everyone worked hard and were focused on getting the job done well.

Mike and Mary and their crew were wonderful. They were professional and always punctual. They addressed all of our concerns and responded immediately. The quote we were given was the amount we paid at completion despite quite a few extra requests. We would highly recommend their work.

I contacted Hatton Quality Painting, LLC to inquire about having 3 small areas of my house painted that would also require the cleaning of existing lead based paint. My call was finally returned after 1 full business day. After relaying my needs, I was told, "Well, I wouldn't be interested in doing a job that small." Seriously?! What kind of business turns down a potential client with a less than a five minute phone call? He didn't even offer to look at what work needed to be done, just flat out declined the job.

It could not have gone any better! The Hattons and their crew were always punctual, courteous, and professional. They took great care to protect our furniture, floors, and the house in general from the drywall dust and the paint. They want to do a great job and they take great pride in their work. They did a GREAT job. They make sure that they are satisfied with the patching before they paint. They were flexible enough to add on painting the ceiling in the bedroom and adjust the price accordingly after the work had begun. Our home is 50+ years old and the areas where the work was done look like new. We have never been more pleased with a contractor doing this type of work and we will definitely use them again.

Mike, Mary and Mike "2" were an absolute delight to work with. WIthin 10 days of contacting them our job was finished. They performed multiple little extras during the course of our job to touch up various items. They matched our existing colors perfectly and were completely respectful of our home and time. We will certainly work with the Hattons again while we are in this house!

Mike and crew did a fine job on all that was needed and they were very good about cleaning up. In the spring we plan to have Hatton Quality Painting seal the brick work on the exterior of our home.

This job was complicated by the usual weather concerns and by the ongoing renovation being performed that required Mr. Hatton to go back over work that had been completed, but was disturbed by the workers correcting emerging problems, such as installation of new trim, eliminating leaks and a late decision to proceed with painting window woodwork. The advanced state of decay in much of the exterior woodwork resulted in additional work in preparation and significant increase in the amount of paint required to complete the job. He was dedicated to providing an outstanding product, and I have a vivid memory of Mike and his wife on a sunny Saturday both doing the final redo of work that was affected by other work. Mike Hatton definitely does provide Quality Painting of the highest standard!
