Fantastic. The painters did a great job and the house looked rejuvenated. I would hire them again if I need any more painting done. They cared a lot about quality and did everything I asked of them.

Work was performed mid Jan. In the fall we had them paint our house. We were aware how hard they worked and the excellent work they do. Our home was built in 1911 and the basement was in very poor condition. The basement now looks new and we could not be more pleased. They patched a ceiling in our bedroom, rebuilt a wall in Cathy's dressing room, and patched a wall in the downstairs bathroom. They went well beyond what we expected doing additional work without charge. They are a pleasure to work with and go the extra mile in everything they do. They are very trustworthy, dependable, down to earth, and pay attention to the smallest detail. We don't think there is a better contractor on Angie's list...

It's the same level of excellent service. They are still fast and efficient, very dependable and reliable. And the pricing is still reasonable.

We are delighted with the results. They are very professional. Everything from some dry wall repair to their clean-up at the end was well done. We asked for some extras that were not in the contract - they did good work at a reasonable price.

They were here at 8:30 AM everyday. They power sanded every thing to be painted. A lot of extra work was done. The house looks brand new. They did a great job. The house was painted by them 15 years ago and they were excellent then also. I will hire them next time the house need painted.

They never showed up on time. They charged me more than the initial amount. They said I did not have to pay until the job was done but they asked me for $600 the first day. The initial charge was $835 but it cost me $885 which I thought after thinking about it that it was way too much for what they did.

They were EXTREMELY thorough and took their time to do the job correctly: they pressure wash all surfaces to be painted, scrape loose paint where needed, sand, caulk, prime and paint. Additionally, they are qualified to replace rotted wood and did a beautiful job with ours. They arrive on time and sometimes work late - whatever it takes to do the job with excellence. All of their work has a 2 year warranty; all material is included in the estimate. As they were completing the final painting of our deck rails at the very end of the job, pouring rain hit out of the blue. They came back the next day, AFTER they were paid, to ensure that the paint had not run below the rails onto our trex deck. It had run a little in one spot and they scrubbed it thoroughly until we were all sure that the job was completed with full excellence! This business books up quickly. Interview them in advance if you can. I cannot say enough about Hatton Quality Painting. Excellent, excellent, excellent!!!

We had to wait a while to get it done because they they are heavily booked - now we understand why. We have dealt with several contractors over the years but none of them come close to the quality workmanship, integrity, and attention to detail we received from Hatton. Our home now looks like it was built yesterday and we are so pleased that Hatton Quality Painting did our home. I am retired so I spent a great deal of time outside with them and my wife also spent a lot of time. I feel we got to know them pretty well especially Mike and Mary Hatton (owners) along with the three other people on the crew. They are exceptionally nice people and go well above and beyond anything we expected. Mary took the old steel gutters down to bare metal inside and out. They are now beautiful and look brand new along with everything else they did. We don't have a single negative but we do have more positives than will fit on this page. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea

They did not pay attention to the details. They covered windows but not until after they sprayed bleach all over them. I asked for certain areas to be done first. That was ignored. They knew we were on a deadline and did not show up to finish the job before the realtors came to take pictures. We spent 6 hours finishing their work in the dark.

They did a good job. They missed some cracks in the driveway.

They pressure washed, brushed two coats of stain on our cedar house, painted doors and windows, and replaced rotten wood. They were helpful, did excellent work and are very thorough. The only complaint we had was that they started seven weeks later than their original proposed start date.

The Hattons are easy to work with and are very interested in doing the best job possible. They worked with us on paint types, color and quality before starting and Mike made sure that all our questions were addressed prior to starting. He said it might take two weeks to finish and it did...and in the end, the house looked great. Mike and Mary are very picky about painting details, prep and execution and we appreciated that. Highly recommend!

We have very high ceilings and they were able to fix the cracks that we were getting due to the structure. They are a quality company and the people in it are very nice and very accommodating. They are very professional. They work hard to please and do a great job.

The job went smoothly. Mike acquired the paint my wife had previously picked out. He coordinated all the work and did a substantial amount of the work himself. He periodically asked us if we were pleased with the work being performed. He even did extra small things that were not in the initial proposal. He and his people were very easy to work with. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Hattons painted the exterior of our home last summer. At the conclusion of that job, we arranged for them to return in the winter and do the above interior work. They do an excellent job and take pride in their work. They are respectful of the home and always clean up afterwards. Nice people, as well.

We are exceptionally pleased with the work that was done to our home. Mike, his wife Mary and their crew treated our home as if it was theirs. The job took a little over three weeks and a good portion of that was devoted to prep work. The company that painted our home last time was fast and sloppy and the prep was minimal. With Hatton Quality Painting every attention was paid to detail, making sure our home was well prepped and the finish paint job (which was brushed not sprayed) looked beautiful. They were on time, easy to be around, they worked hard and they kept the site clean. I told Mike that I thought we went from the worst painting experience to the best with Hatton Quality Painting. We will definitely work with them again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting done.

The siding was peeling, bubbling and in bad shape. They probably spent 3-4 more days prepping, sanding and repairing then expected but did not exceed the amount of the original quote. They far exceeded my expectations mainly due to their quality of preparation. My last paint job failed because the previous painter took many shortcuts. Not Hatton Painting....they are extremely thorough! The finish job looks fantastic.....Thanks Mike, Mary and the Crew!

Mike, his wife Mary, and his crew exceeded even our lofty expectations that had been set by reading other reviews and looking at their previous work. Thoroughly professional, unfailing friendly, and amazing attention to detail and top quality results. They clearly take (well deserved) pride in their work, and put in all the necessary time and effort at every stage from the initial preparation to the finishing details to deliver the best results.

Painted my house in September, 2013 and on 5/14/15 I noticed that the paint on the metal surfaces of my skylights and chimney cap were peeling away. I contacted Mike Hatton on 5/14 and reported the problem> He started work the next day to begin fixing the problem. Rain that afternoon interrupted his work, but he and his wife returned today (5/19) and sanded the surfaces and repainted the areas. It looks great. He was extremely responsive and even cleaned the glass in my skylights after he finished his work.
