I have yet to get a response to my calls and its been almost a year so I now need help. I am very allergic to the mold that now grows in the subflooring...see story details above. After the initial flooding, the personal injuries we planned to resolve this on our own if possible. But when I went back to the store, retold what had happened, the manager said he would help us and give us a 'good deal' on a new ?SET! I only needed the washer replaced as the warranty we purchased. In frustration we purchased a washer but it would not fit with the older dryer so we HAD to buy a dryer so the height was the same, with my new physical limits I can only use my left arm, this has caused lots of personal challenges. After getting what he said was the very best price for our ordeal, we found they had it on sale in the next few weeks for a lot less and then later, even less. We feel we were taken advantage of. We trusted what he said, so now we even paid more for the replacement than we should have paid. They were not honest with us and now I am unable to fully care for the new son we adopted nor care for my home without my daily helper at $75/day. My husband works for the Sheriff and took a huge paycut with the recent layoffs, we have two children in college with loans now coming due so we would greatly appreciate assistance resolving this difficult situation. if they would refund us the cost of the new set since they said they WOULD replace it under the warranty if they would reimburse us to repair the damages done by the flooding, my out of pocket expenses resulting from their neglect to address the issue for so long.
Description of Work: We purchased a set of LG front loading washer and dryer to include the 5 year warranty. We had several issues during the 5 years, but thankfully the warranty DID take care of most of them inspite of leaking, at least 6 different times. The biggest concern was the water traveling so far in our home. The washer leaked so bad it flooded several wood floors in our home down into the basement ruining furniture, stored clothing, computers and sentimental items that cannot be replaced. We had the washer repaired AGAIN and had a huge expensive situation to clean up. I contacted HH Gregg about the LG washer issues, how it kept occuring and how we NEEDED to just replace the washer, it caused 6 floods! I was unable to leave the room when it was on incase it flooded and with three small children, that is not easy. AFter weeks of phone conversations we were finally told they WOULD REPLACE just the washer, which is all we asked to prevent future damage to the home. After being told the machine would be replaced they changed their mind, I called to make arrangements and then was told that since our homeowners was involved with the one major flood (our insurance did NOT pay for washer replacement or repair or the damaged floor) they decided to not honor the warranty. I spoke with the LG company but in reality, this is a warranty issue. HH Gregg staff told me the warranty company they were using at the time is no longer in use because of the poor consumer response, just like this. We spent a lot of money now on the damages and multiple floods. I called LG to see if they might help but got no helpful answer. This really is a warranty issue anyway. We purchased the warrenty, made claims during that time period then they backed out on the resolution. I contacted HH Gregg and was told the Warranty company is no longer the one they use becasue of poor consumer response so they would not honor my complaint. I tried going to the store in person without resolution. A week later I was taking my sister in law to ER and the sitter called saying the washer was flooding. I rushed home to help stop the water. While moving the full washer up to the wood floor my shoulder started hurting really bad. My doctror said I ruptured my biceps tendon and tore my rotator cuff. PT did not resolve it so I had to have surgery. Since the accident I have been unable to lift much with my right arm and had to hire help daily ($75) for someone to care for our new son and its heartbreaking to me being this limited. It all could have been prevented had they replaced the machine when they said they would. I now live with daily pain and limitations and cannot afford to put my floors back the way there were.

My LG refrigerator went out & it was under a 1 year warranty. My food spoiled, and I was forced to eat all my meals out as a result. The LG company took over 4 weeks to resolve the issue. I contacted H H Gregg for assistance in dealing with the mfg, and I was provided no assistance whatsover. I also asked if they would provide me a loaner until LG could decide if they were going to fix or replace, I was told no. They want to sell you the merchandise, but they could care less when it goes out.
Description of Work: Service for a 6 month old refrigerator.
