I paid $600 to apply for this loan. I think 300 was to lock in the interest rate and the other was to pay for the appraisal. I was told I would get part of it back. I have not gotten anything yet. If they do not send it soon, I will be calling.
Description of Work: I applied to refinance my home loan. I supplied all the information needed.I even made some improvements to my home to satisfy the terms of the loan. I was under the impression that the loan would be approved. Three months after I applied, I was turned down for the loan. I called the loan officer to find out what happened and she acted like she did not know. She was out of town and would contact me when she returned. I have not heard from her. She mentioned it could have been my credit,but why did we go through all this if that was the problem. So I do not know and I am too upset to even call those people.
