Greg Koopman Surveying

Greg was on time and professional, and even accommodated a reschedule that I had on my end. Greg set up markers at the four corners of our property, and a few stakes along the sides. The corners are metal stakes with his name and license number, now I don't have to wonder whose tree is whose or where my fence can go.

He was very thorough and answered any questions that I had. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his attention to detail. Never once did it bother hi to stop and answer a question. He was extremely quick with sending my paper to me. I wound recommend him to anyone.

I called Greg Wednesday or Thursday and scheduled an appointment for him to do the work on Saturday. He arrived early and got right to work. Our property is large and odd-shaped. He spent three hours completely the survey and showed us where he had placed pins and stakes. He said he would mail a drawing Monday. It arrived Tuesday. (Start to finish of the whole project: less than one week.)

Greg was on time, did everything he promised, and gave me information and advice about property lines that was extremely useful. The report arrived quickly and the attention to detail was outstanding.

After submitting a request through Angie's List, Mr. Koopman promptly contacted me regarding possible dates he could come out...he was very accommodating. He provided me with an estimate sight unseen and stuck to it upon completion of the work. He arrived promptly (on a Sunday afternoon no less) and diligently went about his work. Afterward he walked me around the perimeter of the property noting areas of interest. Very satisfied with the work and overall experience.

He was wonderful. He was above and beyond in his walk through and his estimate was commensurate with the other bids. It was a good experience overall. His report came in a timely fashion as well. I did want a copy of his insurance information, which I didn't receive, but I think that he just forgot about it. Overall though, he did a great job.

I called and left a message for Greg Koopman on Wednesday morning and he returned my call within a couple of hours. He came out to my property by the next Saturday, which made me happy because I wanted my property lines marked for a landscaping project. He had to give me bad news, though, when he told me that most of the sloping yard that was supposed to be a new wildflower garden actually belonged to my neighbor (even though I had been mowing it for 10 years!). Greg was very professional, showing me the deed and explaining step-by-step how he placed the markers. He then offered some suggestions on how to possibly approach my neighbor to buy a piece of his property, which I appreciated. If my neighbor and I work out a deal to redraw the line, I will definitely be calling on Mr. Koopman again.

I contacted Mr. Koopman to get a verbal estimate on getting my land surveyed. He quoted me between $300 - $350. My cost ended up being $350 as he had to find a coordinate or starting point at the top of my street opposed to one in my yard. The other surveyors I contacted were charging $400+. After doing some research, I contacted Greg again on Thursday evening 3/25 and he said he could be out to my house by Saturday 3/27 around 3pm. He mentioned he had already researched my property in the event I was going to use him. He arrived at 2:55pm explained what he was going to do and he went to work. He was very professional and he had my survey done within two hours. He walked me around my yard to show and explain what he had done. He said he would have a drawing of my property to me by Monday 3/29 and he did. He seemed very fair and willing to work with me regarding the payment (being the survey happened so fast and he was finishing up on a Saturday evening). I paid him by check that Saturday and all is well. I would highly recommend him.

Gregg and his assistant arrived on time. We spent some time looking for existing survey pins. He then set up his equipment and conducted the survey. Existing pins were marked and additional stakes were set along the property line. Before leaving Gregg conducted a walk through to point out stakes and pins. A few days later several survey drawings arrived in the mail. I found Gregg to be personable and highly experienced. I recommend him without reservation.

Greg was friendly, highly professional, customer focused and very honest. He was very meticulous about getting everything right. The land is hilly with lots of trees, so it wasn't an easy job. Although the job took a little longer than he originally anticipated and he had to come back a 2nd day, he stuck to his original estimate. I am a very satisfied customer and would hire him again in a New York minute.

We have a five acre plot of land. We know the location of most the pins, but were never able to find three specific ones that, unfortunately, led to a neighbor thinking the land was his and treating it as such. I called Mr. Koopman on a Thursday and we made an appointment for an estimation meeting to take place on the following Saturday. He was able to arrive an hour earlier than originally anticipated and, after looking over the work involved, told us he'd be able to complete the survey that day. Three hours later he was finished. He found the missing points, marked them and even dealt with the aforementioned neighbor, who wasn't too pleased to find him surveying "his" land. Mr. Koopman very nicely explained the error in the neighbor's thinking. He showed us the found pins and explained a few more items to us, including what to say to the neighbor should he question the work. We highly recommend Mr. Koopman and hope to be able to use his services again soon.

Excellent. Performed the task as requested, price quote was right on. Mr. Koopman walked the lines with us following the survey to answer any questions. He was running early in his schedule and called to confirm and earlier appointment in the day, which was very convenient. Would highly recommend!

He and his partner spent 2 1/2 hours working through very thick woods and mosquitos on my property without complaint. He performed a very difficult task very thoroughly and professionally. He also recommended a fencing person to help me get the fence installed and gave me advice on the purchase of additional property on an adjacent lot. He called me back 3 times after my one phone call - he was very pleasantly persistent. The other two companies I called never returned my call.

I called late on a Friday. Greg was able to come out the next Monday evening. He was on time and did his job promptly and professionally. After he finished, he walked me around explaining where the boundary was. I received the survey drawings in the mail two days later as promised. I would highly recommend Greg.

He was amazing. He is punctual, has great pricing, quick and was available the next day. He did such a great job we contracted him for my parents. He surveyed our yard and two days later we received the report.

Exceptional. He was very responsive, timely, and thorough. He explained his process and did exactly what he promised. He left the property with metal stakes and additional tall, wooden stakes in case we wanted to string a line prior to landscaping, etc. He walked me around the property line and explained what he had done and how he had done it. The survey took place on a Saturday morning (thank you!) and we had the formal documents in hand by the following Wednesday.

Greg responded to my need rapidly and went right to work on a Saturday when I could be home. Despite a back neighbor giving him a bit of hassle about the property line, he remained steady and professional and continued to do his work. After completion, he took me on a complete tour and responded to questions about options when neighbors are "using" one's land. He will be mailing me my drawings on Monday, and I couldn't have been more pleased with his services.

Everything went great. He showed up fifteen minutes early and went right to work. It was a hard survey a wooded lot with gulleys and creeks.It all went wtihout a hitch,.He did everything I requested, and put extra stakes in the few places i wanted them.
