Description of Work: They called to change appts and reschedule 3 times. I don't want to keep accommodating them anymore & will go with another service provider.

Description of Work: Geiler called me twice to reschedule. Luckily, the third time was a charm. Be advised, to clean the ducts the servicemen have to cut your ducts. Afterwards, they will seal it with metal and metal tape. It's been 2 days but all seems well so far.

Description of Work: I needed to have my sump pump checked out. Two gentlemen arrived on time and explained everything as they checked it out. Very helpful and informative.

Description of Work: I bought the $49 deal for a hot water heater flush and plumbing inspection through Angies.com. Svc provider messaged through your site that it would be best to call to schedule. I called and set an appointment for two weeks later, April 13th between 8 and 830 a.m. The day after scheduling the appointment I messaged the svc provider asking if they could also repair the water valve behind my refrigerator on the 13th. They responded, "Definitely". After 9 a.m. on the 13th I called to inquire about estimated time of arrival and was told it would be after 10:30 before the tech would finish their first job. I said I thought I had the first appointment and was told it was their error, at which time the female employee (Ann?) asked me to reschedule. I explained that I didn't want to be difficult but my schedule is jam packed and it may be easier if I call a plumber I have used in the past in a pinch. She apologized, and said she would get me on the schedule when I was free. We discussed that the hot water heater would be flushed and that a regular garden house fitting hadn't worked in the past. She also said the fridge valve would be repaired/replaced and inspection done. She also said she would waive the $55 "diagnostic" fee for any inconvenience. We agreed on Wednesday, April 22nd between 8 and 10. At 9ish on the 22nd two service men arrived. My husband and I took them to the hot water heater in the basement. One immediately realized the standard garden hose he brought would not fit the valve. I asked if he wanted to work on the fridge valve and he said he wasn't aware he was here for that. He then checked his phone and said it was on the list but he didn't have the parts to do it. The men went to their truck. They returned and said they could replace the valve on the hot water heater for $99 and the one on the fridge for $230 another day. I said I didn't want to pay $100 to put a new valve on an old hot water heater and the fridge valve was to be done today. I handed him the garden hose and said he need not do the inspection. He said, sorry about that and they left. There was no sense in them inspecting my plumbing when I had already identified two issues they were unable or unprepared to remedy. Time is precious and I gave them two bites at the Apple. I would like a refund, please. I appreciate your assistance.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a furnace check-up. I used it on my rental house. They were punctual with my appointment time and very informative with tips to help keep my furnace clean and running.

Description of Work: The sump pump and back up battery inspection was completed as promised in a professional manner. The plumber also did a quick exterior check of my water heater. He made recommendations for a new sump pump battery and to drain the water heater which would have required 2 additional visits and additional costs. Someone was supposed to call me with a price for the battery but never did. I called Geiler and got some information on prices and fees and then scheduled an appointment for the following week but that appointment ended up being canceled at the last minute by Geiler because the technician did not have the right battery with him. I then decided that the cost of replacing the battery was too high so I did not reschedule. |I have since had the battery replaced by another plumbing company which I have used in the past.
