Description of Work: First visit transpired with first technician.3 weeks later when initiating lighting pilot light it kept turning off and much debris noted around pilot light. Phoned company(Geiler) and next technician visited within 4 days to service. Stated he replaced some copper tubing with new aluminum tubing and other steps that I've forgotten(this grandma is not a furnace expert!). Did a thorough inspection and apologized for original inspection. Very professional, but we think he reassigned some wiring on furnace and now it heats beyond efficiency SO we turned it off!

Description of Work: I did an Angie's list deal to check out our sump pumps. I knew that the backup pump was in alarm and that something needed to be fixed. | |The diagnosis was that I needed a whole new system: $700. The reality turned out to be that it needed a new battery. Battery has since been replaced by someone else. Everything is working fine now. | |I am starting to think that some of these Angie's list deals are just an opportunity for you to pay for what would have been a free estimate. | |The plumber who came over was a nice guy and did take care of another small problem while here. On the other hand, he tracked mud into the house, which my wife did not appreciate.
