The servbice technician arrived on time and started the check up right away. He was very personable and walked me through each test he was doing and why. It was nice that he didn't have a problem with me staying with him while he worked. Some repairmen have a problem with that. Anyway, he was very thorough and gave me some helpful information so I could better take care of the furnace. I would not hesitate to call them again if I have a furnace or air conditioning problem.

Seemed to go well, cleaned outside coils and checked low and high pressure, the service man said everything looked good. But didn't stick around long enough to check to make sure the system was actually cooling the apartment. Called the next day to let them know the system was not cooling the apartment, was told we will get back to you, no return call was ever made back to me to discuss the matter.

He augered the drain in the tub, it is draining much faster.

Terry was very great to work with. He came out on April 30th to assess our situation. It turned out an electric surge ruined our sump pump and back-up battery system. It had to be replaced. He came out the next day and replaced it and also installed a new back-up battery system. While he was here, he noticed an issue with our radon system and did a quick fix to make it work properly. I would highly recommend Geiler and working with Terry.

very helpful but not able to clear the drain

I purchased the service from Angies' list in January and immediately provided a couple of dates for the service. First bad sign was when I received a message to set up the appointment on the telephone because of problems with the internet. So, I tried to make a telephone appointment and was not called back. By April, when I still had not received a call, I contacted Geiler to set up an appointment. I received a telephone call on a Friday afternoon from someone in the office who gave me a range of dates from which to select. I indicated when I wanted the work done. On the designated day, I called to confirm the appointment. Since the person with whom I made the appointment had not written down the information, there was no record of it. So, I set a new date. When the date arrived, I was told there was problems with the number of vans in service and that nobody could come out on the day I requested. So, I requested a different date and asked for first thing in the morning. Impossible, I was told because it would mean bumping somebody else. That seemed a bit silly to me, given all the time I had waited for service, but, what the hey? Finally, on June 1, Frank from Geiler arrived at the door. About him, I have nothing but praise. He was on time and very professional. And, when he noticed he had tracked some mud into the house, he immediately offered to get a mop and wipe it up. Bottom line--back office service not good; serviceman excellent.

Arrived on scheduled date a little before scheduled time; went right to work, checking inside and outside units. Seemed to know right away what the problem was. Explained what I needed and the additional costs. With my okay, took care of the problem. I'm in a new place (for me) and the previous owners used Geiler, so I was happy to be able to use the same company.

They left a mess and we're not happy with that and I have to call them back. They pulled down some insulation down the basement still laying down the floor. They left dirt and dust on the floor around it. They said they will leave the furnace filter in there for a week; I took the furnace out of several days and there was a load of dirt. I don't know how much was there in that vent itself? So I'm not greatly pleased with the stuff they did. I don't understand why they wouldn't have cleaned up after themselves. We had some issues. The quality needs improvement; they need to improve their quality of service.

They showed up on time and were very thorough. The pricing was fair and they had great communication.

It went well. He came in, asked me which drain I wanted done and I told him. He went into the basement, checked the one in kitchen and basement and told me they were connected. He did go down and flush out the drain, told me there was some blockage in it but he did flush it out and I haven't had any problems with it. We were having problems with it backing up. The price was really good. We met at the door, he told me his name, the company he was with and told me he was here about the drain cleaning service that I had gotten off of Angie's List. I would tell others that I think they are a really good company and the service man seemed to be very cordial, polite and did a pretty good job. When I did the order and left the information form, they did contact me back so we set up an appointment right away. They told me what time they were coming in and the guy was here at exactly the time they told me he was coming.

Great job and would use them again.

Although I was surprised to hear I needed to purchase a new sump pump, the serviceman's explanation of the problems and lifespan of sump pumps made the decision easy.

They were excellent. My mother in law was in a small accident and we were forced to leave the house while they were replacing the furnaces. We left them to finish the job, we came back to find their workspace swept and cleaned up and the job complete. We were very pleased.

Great! I knew I had a sump pump problem so I bought the inspection. Matt came in and took one look and BOOM, I needed a new sump pump. Not a surprise. Took about 10 minutes. These guys are trusted by myself as they have been in business for many many years. Two months later the Big Deal for the sump pump came up. I don't remember the name of the plumber, but he came right in and replaced it and it's working great ever since. Did not take very long, about a half hour? Very nice, very professional, and yes, I can hear that it is working now.

was ontime and very efficient. and knew what he was doing. I like that he showed us things we could do ourselves to keep things maintained.

The two leaky faucets were mentioned and also a bad valve in the tub fixture. I received an estimate for having these things fixed but felt the cost was a bit high. Even though I'm a 66 year old woman of no special plumbing knowledge, I fixed the two leaks myself and will give a hand at fixing the bad valve soon.

We've had two pumps fail and had to deal with a flooded basement so I was trying to avoid another problem. He looked at the pump and checked outside for problems. Very nice but probably not worth the money. You can probably google and check for yourself.

Well, I originally called and asked a gentleman a few questions before I purchased it, and I can't recall his name. I purchased the "Duct Cleaning for $129" on Feb. 24th. When I called back to schedule, I spoke with a "Ryan" who proceeded to tell me that "no, we cannot clean your ducts," when I explained to him that we are on the third/top floor with vaulted ceilings and our vents are in our ceiling. I told him I explained it to the gentleman I spoke with previously, and he acted like it would be no problem. He asked me who it was, and I told him I could not remember his name. I asked him if we could please have someone come out and let me know if it could be done in advance, as I purchased it on 2/24/15, and to get a refund, it had to be within 30 days, and 2 weeks had already passed. He then put Eric, the supervisor on the phone, who repeated reassured me that it was no problem to have the ducts cleaned. I asked him more than once, are you sure you can't get someone out here to assess the situation, to make sure you can do it? And he said no. So I booked the appointment on Wed 3/18/15. They were accommodating for the time I requested, as they wanted to do it at 8 - 8:30 am, and I asked for as late as possible, as I have health problems. I called in on Monday 3/16/15 to ask if there was anything special we needed to do to make sure the job went as efficiently as possible, being that we had never had a duct cleaning, and was given a phone number for Brad. I spoke with Brad, and he was very friendly. I asked him if we needed to move stuff from under the vents, and he had said it would help. I also explained that we had very light carpet, and asked if they could please bring drop cloths. He also explained they would need to be as close to the entrance as possible, so I arranged it with our neighbors so they could park in front of our building. Wed 3/18/15 came around, and Brad showed up at 10 am, but his partner was a little behind him. Please see above comments for what they did while here. Both of them were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They opened up bags of brand new drop cloths, and wore booties on their feet. When they finished, they saw all the moving of stuff we had done, and offered to move some of our things back into place before they left. I asked Brad before he left if I could call and request them for future appointments for furnace/AC tune-ups, and he said that his partner is going to be doing strictly ducts, but he does HVAC, and he said I could request him. They were both very professional, and shook my hand when they were leaving. The only thing I wasn't happy about, was that I wish I could have had someone sent out prior to setting up the appointment, and assess the duct situation like I had requested, then I could have made a decision if I wanted to just pursue a refund through Angie's list, being that I paid for a duct cleaning and that for the most part, it really wasn't the work that was done, because it didn't really need it. ****4/9/15 Update. I called back in on 4/1/15 to speak with Eric, as I had gone back through my Angie's list emails and saw that they had run an "end of season furnace tune up" shortly before I purchased the duct cleaning, for $59, and also ran a "spring tune up for AC" for $49 within days before they came out for duct cleaning that I paid $129 for, but those two specials came to $108. Eric called back on 4/3/15, and I made my proposal and he said that he would be able to send Brad back out to do the spring tune up on our AC at no charge! I will definitely be using Geiler again, and was very happy with the Excellent customer service!

Professional and honest. He told me my old furnace was in good shape. Very friendly. I would definitely hire if I needed Heating or Cooling service.

They were fine. He's a good guy. They showed up when they were supposed to. I would use them again. They did everything I asked for. Price was reasonable.
