The fan went out recently. I've called 3 different appliance repair companies but Samsung and LG won't release the replacement parts. I was happy with the price. I thought it was a great deal back then. The people at Best Buy were good.

Bought new computer at this Best Buy in July 2014. Took home; found out we couldn't transfer any data; returned to store same day & they replaced processor, which worked out fine. About a month after transferring all data from old to new computer, screen went blank after I logged in. Agent Justin at drop off very good about explaining all options, depending on whether it was a hardware or software problem, and whether it would have to be shipped back to Acer (brand) for hardware problem (returning it not an option; you've apparently only got 15 days to do that.) If it did have to be returned to Acer, I would be responsible for having all data transferred to "mule", which Best Buy would then hold & reinstall upon return; no charge for Acer repair, but $85 charge for the "mule" transfer. Turns out was just viruses that had replicated galore (51) during my transfer process; Geek Squad took care of it & computer running fine now. Justin offered the Geek Squad membership at dropoff; they have 3 plans; I chose the middle one for $199 (one year.) So, having the membership meant I didn't have to pay for the virus removal, plus I decided, w/my very limited computer knowledge, it will be nice to have them on call 24/7 for future questions/problems. At pickup, agent Matt also very good, both at explaining what happened, and patiently answering some unrelated questions about Windows 8 and Word Office 2013,which are both new for me, and driving me crazy. Not crazy about their membership prices, but I'd used an independent, small computer repair place in past, and prices seem to be comparable.

They had a big selection, and their prices were competitive. The microwave I purchased went on sale the next weekend, and they refunded me the difference. The people were very helpful, and I was pleased. They had good customer service.

Went fine as good website to see first and pre screen. Had in stock and ordered for pickup as not going to pay money to get it since have pickup truck. Is a pain going out the front door with a big stove and confused about why not pickup item item as side dock like is more logical and safer. Had to wait longer than should have I felt and they dodged customers while wheeling it to front door. Good product and fair price.

They are exceptional. All the employees I have run into can either answer my questions or knew who to go to, to answer my question. They are all hepful and bend over backwards for me. They are knowledgeable as well. They have the best warranties in the electronic industry. They have never pressured me to make a purchase.

I shopped around quite a bit for several months before choosing to purchase these from Best Buy. I stopped at Lowe's, Home Depot, Recker & Boerger, and some others I can't recall. Lowe's and Home Depot didn't seem to have the expertise and Recker & Boerger just didn't impress me in many ways. Best Buy was very competitive and the staff was quite knowlegdeable. The price haggling went very well, since they reduced the price of the pedestals even after we settled on the washer and dryer prices. They had to order one of the units, which took about 4 days. I'm not sure I would have purchased from them if I had an immediate need, because of this. However, I try to plan these things ahead of time, so I can make a better decision. They got some of the paperwork messed up, so it had to be redone. I chalk that up to a worker who was probably a bit inexperienced with their system. They were very gracious in making the correction. I picked the units up in two separate trips, since I couldn't fit everything in my vehicle in one trip. I received great help in loading, since we had to do a lot of maneuvering to make the boxes fit my vehicle. This was a tremendous help. They also deliver, but I wanted to save the money and pick them up myself.
Description of Work: I purchased a front load washer and dryer set made by LG, along with a pair of pedestals.

The service was terrible. The computer was out for two weeks, and rather than making any effort to address the cause of my problem, the Geek Squad addressed only one of the symptoms (and not even the most significant symptom). They replaced the battery only, and had the gall to write on the service form that the computer wasn't actually shutting down--that I just didn't know the screen saver was set to display a blank screen. The result is that I have a computer that still won't always take a charge because the DC jack is still broken, and I will need to send it for service again tomorrow. Moreover, if the battery were the only problem, there was no reason to send the computer out for service--under the warranty, Best Buy will simply mail a replacement directly to me. This was not the first time this has happened at this Best Buy. Last year they kept it for three weeks longer than promised, and to address my complaint of a fried motherboard, they replaced the DVD drive.
Description of Work: I took my laptop in for warranty service from the Geek Squad at the Eastgate Best Buy. My chief complaint was that the DC jack (i.e., where you stick the power cord) was failing -- the plug from the AC adapter did not fit it properly, and it would sometimes make a whining or hissing noise. A secondary problem (no doubt related to the primary problem) was that the battery would no longer take or hold a charge. As a result, the power cord needed to be seated perfectly. If the machine got jostled at all, the cord would stop powering the computer, and the battery would expire in a matter of minutes. The computer would shut down without warning.

All they wanted to do was sell us foods/services we didn't need. My husband was involved in the transaction and I was standing by. I know pretty much about computers and just was there to ensure they didn't try selling us something we didn't need. Well that is exactly what they did. Will never use again. Very disappointed.
