Scheduled appointment, but he was a no-call, no-show.

Called him at 8AM on Saturday and he was at my house less than an hour later. Fixed the problem within an hour and all was good. Next day, the door had trouble...it wouldn't always go down properly. So, I called back, asked them to come out and look at it again. They never showed up but it started working, and haven't had trouble since.

Everything went real smooth, no troubles to report.

The sales rep went out of his way to meet me to estimate the job ASAP. The door was on sale which was on top of a 10% Angie's List discount which made for a very affordable transaction. I doubt anyone else in town will install as nice a door for the same price. Installation was performed without my being there (previously arranged). The installer(s) determined that my garage door opener needed to be replaced, so they unplugged it and left the garage door disconnected from it. I was called and notified that my eye sensors did not work and that the opener would not close. I went to the property later that evening, aligned the eyes, reseated their plugs, and was able to operate the opener without issue. I went to connect the door myself, but found the cotter pin to connect the opener arm to the door missing. I called the installer and he realized he had forgotten to leave it. He offered to come by later that evening, but I was unavailable. We agreed that he would call me the following day to arrange a time for either him or someone else to meet me at the site to complete the installation. One and a half days later, I hadn't heard from the installer, so I called the sales person. He was very apologetic and assured me that this is not how AE Door does business. He committed to getting the problem resolved the next day. The next day, I did get a call, but only after the tech had been to the site and left. Apparently a tenant had activated the garage door opener leaving it in the closed position. That caused the arm to block the door. He left the cotter pin in the mail box, and soon after, the sales person called me to let me know. I later went to the site and finished the door installation myself. I would have appreciated not having been left that work to do myself, but I did not complain about having to do it and the sales person did not offer. I noticed that on the inside, one panel is slightly bent, but it does not show on the exterior of the door and I don't expect it'll impact the long term function of the door either. The opener is still working just fine. I was able to adjust the travel and set the reverse sensor with no troubles. The eyes that previously did not work are working fine now. I don't want to believe that I was sold a half truth, but I would say it'd be worth your while to double-check claims about broken this or broken that when they weren't quoted in the original bid.

They were going to either replace two panels or replace the entire door. They were unreliable because when I originally called them and made an appointment they did not show up. When I called to follow up they said they had forgotten. When a person actually showed up a few hours later he told me what his assessment of my problem was. They said that they would call me later, but they never did. It was very unprofessional of them. I ended up calling them myself. The person who came to the house was very nice, though.

Mike shows up within one hour after the call. He fixed in 20 min. Good job and good price.

I called Garage Door Service Tuesday around 10 AM and they came to repair the garage door around 4 PM. I was so impressed with their same day service. They did a great job. When and if I need a garage door repaired, they will definitely get my business.

Our garage door was stuck open--they came out, showed us the problem, fixed it, and told us how to it happened.

went well. i had used him before to repair broken springs. he did excellent work then so I called him to do this work

I came home and our garage door would not go up. I called on Saturday morning and we decided to do the work the next Thursday due to my schedule. I was going to have to leave work early to meet them at the house so they took my cell phone number to call me when they were ready (so I could stay at work and not have to go home and wait if they were running behind). As promised Mike called me 30 minutes before I needed to be home and I was then able to leave work to meet him. He was polite, clean and neat, and done very quickly!

No problems at all. Very happy and will consider having them replace the doors when we can get to that. The door opener we have is very old and the service man showed a trick he uses to sometimes fix. He knocks the motor and voila it starts to work. Told me the boards go bad and when they go you can only replace. He mentioned our model is no longer mfg'd and will eventually have to replace. Seemed full of information and not overly eager to sell me more stuff. IIn fact he fixed everthing and I feel held our costs down. I'll have them back when the motor finally goes or I replace the doors.

My garage door would open one morning I was scrambled to find garage door service company because I need to get my car out to go to work. I called Garage Door Service, they couldn't find any appointment until the next afternoon. About 15 minutes later they called me saying that Paul Holsher is in my neighborhood and will come just to let me and my car out. He even put the lock on it for safety. Because the weather was so bad he let me know that he couldn't come on the appointment date but will come the following early morning. He installed a new garage door opener.

My garage door is white, and they left it dirty when they left. I also had some tools and supplies out, which I could not find--I asked them about it, and they said the tools had fallen and rolled under a car, where they had left them. He did a fine job of repairing what he was supposed to repair, but I was unhappy with the overall professionalism of the company. He wrote his initials and the date in black magic marker on the door, rather than writing it on the sticker he also stuck on my door.

Ed did a fantastic job! He came out the same day. He initially thought he would be at my home around 6:00 but called at 4:30 to see if he could come at 5:00, which worked great for me. As he was finishing, he noticed that my other door squeaked more than normal. He serviced that one too and it has never been more quiet. Ed showed me a number of reasons why the cable might have come off and most importantly how I could prevent it from happening again. This was great considering I initially called another garage door service and had a terrible experience. Ed had no gimmicks. I told him the problem and he took care of it at a great price without attempting to sell me other parts and services I didn't need.

We were pleased to find this company in our neighbrhood. Ed, the owner, came with all necessary supplies and did the job quickly & efficiently. He called in response to our phone message and determined what was needed.

I had to have the plastic gears replaced within the box and he also added a garage door opener as well. He was on time, professional and finished the job in a very quick amount of time. I was very impressed with this company.

garage door would not go up/down as it is supposed to do. They came promptly, determined problem quickly & fixed it. Very satisfied.
