 + -1 moreShe never got back to me after the appraisal, I had to go to her house to pick it up. Her appraisal was refused by county - meaning when I went to the meeting and presented her information the person who refuted the info tore her appraisal apart.
Description of Work: Gail did an appraisal for real estate taxes for me.

 + -1 moreGail arrived, prepared and personable. She proceeded to go through the house and exterior, although not a lot of questions were asked about the interior mechanicals. The report provided was sufficient and included comparables.

Description of Work: I tried to contact them twice, once in the middle of March and once March 30th. I got an answering service both time and left a detailed message. I didn't receive a call back either time. Either she is out of business, or they are very bad about returning calls.

 + -1 moreIt was good. We felt the appraisal was very fair and we liked that she took into account the quality of the workmanship on our home, it's location within the community, and how ours compared to other properties that she has appraised in our neighborhood.
Description of Work: Appraised our home prior to a sale. We found that Gail was very professional. She took the time to note the quality of our appliances, the fixtures, and she knew the area thoroughly and many of the properties close by. She has been doing this for 35 years in Cincinnati and you can tell she knows her business. The appraiser our buyer's lender sent was from out of town, was in the house less than 10 minutes, knew nothing of the neighborhood. When comparing the appraisals you could see that there was no comparison in the quality. If we hadn't had this done and the lender had solely relied on their appraiser, we would have lost thousands. We knew the other appraisal was poor because of Gail's report.
