Dan did a terrific job and I am very happy. I was ready to throw these chairs away but he was able tomrestore and make loooking like new. Very satisfied.

Finished product transformation is amazing. There were a few spots which were inadvertently missed but Dan came back promptly and took care of these to our satisfaction. Dan is a personable, friendly and professional guy.

We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Dan Grove arrived at our house right on time and immediately evaluated the work to be done. We learned that the tattered cushions on our leather couch were actually vinyl but that wasn't a problem and he went ahead with the repair process. All three cushions were restored in a little over two hours and there was no evidence that they had ever been damaged. In fact, I had a hard time convincing my son that they were the same cushions! Throughout the visit Mr. Grove was very pleasant and professional.

It was great!! It's perfect...as if nothing happened. I cannot tell that part of my couch was ripped even when I touch or get very very close look. I won't say it was cheap, but definitely worth it. I've attached before(ripped) and after(after the repair) picture!

Dan arrived promptly at the appointed time and worked his magic on the two chair/sofa cushions that were darkened due to body oil (primarily where the head rested}. Both cushions were restored to the original color and completely matched the rest of the chair/sofa. Amazing.

Our leather sofa was showing some wear in terms of rips and tears, but it is still in generally good condition and I hated to buy a new one. It is in a highly visible, much used location in our house and I couldn't stand to have it look ratty. I decided to see if anyone repaired leather couches, and I found Daniel's name here on Angie's List. The reviews were excellent so I scheduled him. I could not be more pleased with the job he did. The sofa looks new again. Daniel is polite, friendly, responsive, prompt and a master at his craft. We had one small tear that showed up after he left and he came back as soon as he could to make it right, and was very cheerful about it. I highly recommend Fresh View. If only all workman that you hired were like this!

Excellent!!!!! Our leather furniture was in such horrible shape. After years of use and abuse by a busy family with kids and pets, I was ready to put it out with the trash. Dan Grove was so responsive and easy to work with. He repaired the rip and cleaned and restored color to the entire set. I never imagined it could look so much better. I can easily see getting many more years out of the set. I plan to have Dan back once a year or so to clean and keep the set looking as good as it does now. Highly Recommended!!

Were very pleasantly surprised that the leather could be so perfectly repaired at a very reasonable cost right in our home. Dan was a gentlemen, very neat, polite and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone. My couches and chair look fantastic! Now I don't need to buy new couches.

Dan did an excellent job in trying to restore a leather sofa that had a pretty good tear in it - Dan did such a fine job that we had him come back out and he "refinished" a different leather couch and chair - very professional and very easy to work with - He did a real nice job and it was certainly more affordable than having to buy new pieces of leather furniture - Dan was very easy to work with and he showed up on time and returned all of calls promptly

I was told by an interior decorator that the sweat stains and other stains that I made in trying to remove the sweat stains from a $6,000 suede couch were impossible to remove and he recommended a slipcover which would have been in the thousands and then it wouldn't match a chair (which was in fine condition). A slipcover would have ruined the design (curvature of the back) and the beautiful tooling (hammered nail effect). He suggested, however, that I try FiberSeal who was coming over to treat newly upholstered dining room seats. FiberSeal advised they couldn't remove a stain on leather, but recommended Dan Grove/Fresh View leather as he was an artist whom they knew to do amazing work. They were right. I made an appointment with Mr. Grove. Without seeing the job he said he anticipated it as about $250..He was punctual. He explained his procedure, which I watched for awhile and then left while he did his magic. In addition to removing the specific dark spot stain, he revived all the the couch where the suede had begun to look like smooth leather (the back and the 2 seats). When finished, the couch actually looked like new suede! He is indeed a magician. I was dumbfounded. I called FiberSeal to thank them for the recommendation and the interior decorator to tell him how great the couch looked. Dan did such a wonderful job, I pulled out a painted leather stool that had a rip in it and an old purse. He took them with him and returned them both about 2 weeks later. You could never tell there had been a rip in the stool and he polished up the old purse without charge. He is actually a portrait artist in addition to being a leather worker. He is delightful to deal with and I highly recommend him.

I first met Dan when he came to my home to repair 2 pieces of leather furniture. He came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. His work was impeccable and after I viewed his work as a painter I knew I wanted to commission him to do an oil painting for my husband's birthday . He painted an oil painting of our family farm and I surprised him his birthday. I told Dan my husband would cry and he did not disappoint . The painting will become a family heirloom . My husband and I are very grateful to Dan.

We have two chairs and ottomans that had some sun damage. Dan brought these chairs back to life!! They look brand new again, its amazing!! Thank you so much Dan!

Arrived at my home promptly and assessed the problem Said that he could do the repair. Was fascinating to watch as he went through the process. Cannot believe the results. The color is perfectly matched. The repair is not visible - looks like it never happened. I am so pleased that he was able to save my couch. If you need a leather repair, Dan is the man to call.

Dan did an excellent job. I had no idea how perfect the repair would look. My dog ate a good size hole in my expensive Stressless recliner. Atter the repair you would never know there was a large, stretched out hole in it. The repair was artfully done and that may be because Dan is also a painter (artist). The color was perfectly matched. It looks brand new.

My wife and I acquired a leather living room set (couch, two chairs, and ottoman) from my parents. The set was in good repair, though it did have some age to it (about 10 years). After we had it for a couple years, a small tear appeared on the back of the couch. In almost no time, that small tear had become about a 10-inch tear with multiple smaller tears. I called Dan at Fresh View and left a message. He called me back within 24 hours. He told me that his base rate was $140 and that it took quite a bit of work to get to $200. He spent about 2 hours stitching and repairing the couch. When he was finished, you could hardly tell there had been a tear. He also reinforced some other spots that looked like they were getting ready to tear. I asked about some scratches in the leather and he sold me a bottle of leather conditioner for a reasonable price. While I thought he was a little pricey, he did excellent work. I would recommend him to anyone looking for leather repair.
