Fresh Crystal Cleaning

Very well! My first contact with them was for a major house cleaning, but since then I have had them back on a regular basis. They are always on time and they do a fantastic job.

I sent them a message on a Monday. On Tuesday they replied asking where I lived and I responded immediately; I happened to be holding my phone when they replied. They took another full day to reply, "We don't service that part of town." We live less than 4 miles from their address but I guess if you live in certain areas (we live in St. Bernard), your money is no good to them. We've gotten a couple other estimates for cleaning from other companies and had read this company was dishonest and/or did a poor job on Yelp. I gave them Angie's List benefit of the doubt but I have to say, I've never had a company refuse to give an estimate because in a certain area within the city they service! I suppose they do SO well that people in less than expensive areas (middle class areas of town) don't have clean enough money for them. Either way, it took THREE DAYS to even get a text message response about where we live, so we had already decided to go with one of the 2 other estimates anyway.

The team of 3 came and cleaned 2 bathrooms, lg kitchen , bedroom, entrance and hall. My husband and I are disabled and their cleaning is always fantastic and the scent is always pleasant. They are very easy to work with including scheduling and time.

Two women arrived. Very professional and sweet. They brought all of their cleaning supplies. I was trying to do a deep and general cleaning before guests arrived for the holidays. The two women said they could clean what ever I needed done in the 3 hours available. I was hoping to get a deep cleaning done and general cleaning in the 3 hours because of two people being there, but it was just not possible. We have a 3000 sf house and it was too big to cover that amt of house for a deep cleaning. They did a very good job, but could not get to that level of deep cleaning in only 3 hours. Used aroma therapy steamer. It smelled great, but does not last long. I really liked the two women who arrived, Russian I think. Would use them again. Kelli Roche

Two housecleaners showed up with a manager, after we discussed what I needed, they got to work! They cleaned everything I asked and then some. All of the baseboards and window sills were in perfect condition for the painters. I was very happy I hired them for this deep cleaning. The house smelled wonderful when they left!!!

It was okay. They did what I asked them to do. They were nice. They were amenable to doing what I ask. The owner came and made sure everything was okay and he left them here. I think they were Russians. Their English was broken but we managed to communicate. They were very cooperative and very willing to try to understand what I was saying so everything was fine. They were here on time.

Besides basic cleaning washed floors, switch plates, and base boards. We were very pleased with quality with their professionalism, and hard work.

The cleaning people did fine. They worked during the entire time at a good pace. They missed a few things but I know they were on a time clock. I did find it difficult to schedule the appointment.

It turned out pretty well. I would recommend them.

A gift certificate was given to me for the service. Scheduling was more difficult than I expceted. After two phone calls and a web site email, I was finally contacted by text, a practice I do not like when dealing with a business for the first time. I was told in the texts to please provide my address, something I was not going to do until I spoke with someone. When I finally spoke with the owner, I had to schedule two weeks out, which struck me as being unusual, but did so. When I asked what the certificate, which was for $100.00 would cover, I was asked , "How big is the house?", which I thought was a strange question, but maybe not, as I have never used a cleaning service. Two days before the appointment, I called to confirm, as I had not recieved confirmation from the company, and sent an email through the company's web site. I ended up calling the day of the appointment, at which time Matt said, "I'm glad you called; I didn't have your phone number (but he texted me two weeks ago!). The 9:30am appointment had to be moved to 11:30am due to short staffing and would be a two hour session (not what we discussed). Two people arrived at 11:45am, and the cleaning was mediocre at best. My fireplace mantle was not dusted, blinds were not cleaned, and the light above my dining room table not dusted, thnigs which I thought would be included in the session. When I called to express my disatisfaction with the session, I was told that there were no guarantees as to what would be cleaned (even though this was discussed at the time the session was scheduled). My impression was that because I was a gift certificate customer and the company already received $100.00 (for work not yet done) my satisfaction did not matter and I was at the bottom of their customer list. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The owner of the company, Matt, arrived with two employees. They arrived a little early but didn't ring my doorbell until the exact time. I was actually glad about this because I needed the extra 15 min. to finish tidying up. (I did not want them to spend time picking up instead of cleaning). He discussed my needs and priorities. The couple, Nina and Leo were professional, polite, hard working and thorough! In that amount of time they cleaned 4 bedrooms, hall and stairs, fairly large kitchen with hardwood floor, and 2 1/2 baths. (I recently had a company of 4 workers for total of 4 1/2 man hours who only cleaned 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, hall and stairs in 4 1/2 hours - and missed some obvious places) The aromatherapy was a small machine that emitted aromatic steam. Not sure if it really "cleaned the air" as the owner said, but it was definitely pleasant and lingered for a few hours. I think the usual price is higher because this was an Angie's list deal. I have had individual contractors clean my house for a lot less money, and do the whole house - living room, family room and dining room in addition to above mentioned, and usually in 4 hours time. That being said, Nina and Leo went deeper, and did a really great job with what they did. If I could afford to have them do the whole house, and come more often - I would!

Overall they did a pretty good job. Very nice and professional. The only things i will note is when I hire someone for home cleaning my goal is for them to do the things I don't usually do. One of those things is a thorough cleaning of outside of cabinets in kitchen. Mine are white, so this is even more important. Mine still had some visible dirt in many places. In response to the provider: The team arrived on time and left 15 minutes early so I am not sure how we were afforded more time that allotted and I informed you that the family room was not a high priority. Buying additional time was not offered to me. Further, we keep our home in very good order (we clean every Sunday). To say that the size and scope of the job are the reason for lack of thoroughness and to place blame on my unwillingness to buy additional time seems unprofessional. My review was an honest interpretation of the services I felt I received. Your response deflects responsibility.......In saying that I am downgrading the professionalism rating.

They did a great job!!! I was very happy with the quality of the work.

Since the Big Deal in July I have used them again. They do such a wonderful job, are courteous, thorough and arrive on time. I am an aromatherapist and love the aromatherapy products that they use. They do a wonderful job and I intend to keep using their service!

Loved their team. They were very kind, professional, and good. Owner was also very accommodating and kind.

It turned out good. The only disappointment I had was that the girls that cleaned were temporaries. They were very good and very nice but one of them was like a teacher and one of them was going back to her country, Russia or something. That didn’t upset me but I am not going to use a service where I have people coming in and out that I can’t get to know. It wasn’t anything against them or the work they did. They did a fine job. It was a very fair price because of the big deal, otherwise I don’t know if their prices are high. I tipped them because the gentlemen that owned the company pretty much recommended that I tipped them, so I did.

The crew was there before the manager. The crew consisted of an upper middle aged Russian couple who couldn't speak a word of English. They smiled, they worked, but I couldn't make any requests because they couldn't understand what I was saying. What they did ... they did thoroughly and well but they didn't get a whole lot accomplished in the time spent. The "aromatherapy" was a joke a gimmick, and amounted to a small unit placed on the kitchen counter while they worked. The scent was gone by the time I got home in the afternoon. Don't waste your money.

They were great. They did a great job. They were very nice to deal with. They were very friendly. They were always on time. They did exactly what they were supposed to do. The job was done very nicely. I would definitely recommend them. They were a little more expensive than I would normally do but they did a great job and everything was really clean. They were wonderful.

Great! Easy to schedule (approx 1 week from date of purchase), great job returning calls promptly, Matt also communicated by text to make sure we were on the same page. Everyone arrived on time. Matt was helpful and professional, the girls were pleasant and hard working. My house was sparkling and the aroma therapy products smelled wonderful. They even went the extra mile and scrubbed out my trash cans. I was so happy! The girls asked for feedback before they left and Matt called several hours later and asked for feedback as well. I had no complaints or suggestions. Great work and great customer service as I would expect for a company with high ratings on Angie's List. I have since scheduled them for regular cleans and will be purchasing their products as well. Great job Fresh Crystal!!

The team was prompt, professional and VERY hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing help with household chores. They will make your home sparkle and will make you feel safe and secure at all times. THIS IS SIMPLY AN UPDATE ABOUT THIS REVIEW AND THIS COMPANY. They are still cleaning my house, have always provided superior cleaning service and friendliness. Do yourself a favor, call them :)
