FLORIDA TILE & STONE DESIGN

Love the tile that Florida Tile has. We actually used a large floor tile and white tile for our shower which we love both. But we ordered a special tile for our "nook" in which the colors were not even close to what they showed online or in the book. We returned them but they have refused to refund our money and have not contacted us back after numerous attempts on our part. Customer service is not good at all and our sales person also has not contacted us. Won't use them again.

We purchased Gallant Ceramic wall and floor tile and Fusion Tumble Cliff glass tiles. These tiles are absolutely beautiful. Angie worked with us to design the shower and assisted in helping to determine colors and patterns. She was extremely helpful through out the process and answered all my questions. The project turned out great, and her idea of creating a "framed picture" out of the glass tiles was great. Everything selected was well coordinated and looks beautiful. The tile had to be ordered and it came in as expected. Our tile installer commented on the great quality of the tile. We liked the look so much, that we have decided to extend it the dressing area, and again, Angie gave us ideas on how to make the floor interesting by using a few pieces of the glass tiles. We would use them again, and highly recommend you check them out when shopping for tile. They have great displays and can answer all of your questions.

Florida tile has nice tile and we had used them before. This time we used a contractor who recommended them. The contractor estimated and ordered the tile and ordered quite a bit too much. We ended up with several boxes left over that were unopened. Florida Tile refused to allow them to be returned even though they were open stock. No returns is "their policy". For that reason alone I will not use them again. If for some reason i was left with no option i would only purchase portions of the tile at a time until the project was done. But much better to just skip the complexity and go with Lowes or Menards.

Not the least expensive but not the most expensive. Good selection. Gwen is a knowledgable and helpful sales person. Return policy is a catch 22. They say they cannot return special orders. Right on receipt so no issues. The catch is the warehouse does not carry any sufficient stock of any one tile maybe a few boxes of each, tops.. They order everything from the plant in ky. Fast and responsive but i believe it makes EVERY order a special order. So they will not take back even one full case of any tile because its a "special" order. Not customer friendly but good inventory mgt on their part. If I buy tile again I will not buy the 10% extra they say to purchase. If its unused it can't be returned. Since orders come in two days if you need a lot more its easy to get and if its only a box they might have in stock. Buyer beware!

The people at Florida Tile were very nice. I can not say that the price was better than other places, but it was comparable. It's very nice tile. The quality of it may have been a little bit better.
