Exterior Custom Windows And Doors

The job today went extremely well! Benny and his assistant were punctual and proficient. The garden window was removed and the new one replaced in such a timely manner, even with us carrying on conversations from time to time. Clean up was spotless as usual. We could not ask for a better experience than what we have had with Benny and his assistants/workers on any of the projects he has done for us.

It did take quite a while to get the custom windows from the manufacturer (Pella), there was some back ordering issues with Cox Interior for the sills, and then it took about 3 weeks to stain and finish the windows. We commissioned the work on 2/4/13 with a check for materials and Benny Black and his assistant began the work at our house on 4/17/13 and finished on 4/26/13, with a day or two in there where work was suspended for inclement weather (wind and driving rain). We gave him the rest of the agreed price on the day of finish. His work is professional, he does excellent clean up after his work. He worked hard to find options for extra tough screen to avoid screen damage by our indoor/outdoor cats, finding a better price than the original estimate. This is the second time we have used Benny Black for window replacement, he did our entire house replacing casement windows with vinyl windows at our previous residence in Madeira in the early 1990s and we were very pleased then too. He is very knowledgeable and honest and has much experience. He is easy to get a hold of and very responsive to questions and concerns.

The work has always been done promptly, with excellent craftsmanship, at a reasonable price. Benny is diligent and accomplished at his trade, and is worth his price, even if someone may underbid him. Now we would not consider having anyone else do our work. Several years ago he replaced our front door. When the job was done and he came to quote another phase t be done the next spring, I commented that I had liked the hardware on the old door. Two weeks later he showed up with the section of the old door with the handle set on it. It has become a treasured artifact from the earlier days of our 150 year old house.

Benny Black is very professional, hard working and wants the job done correctly with a quality product!

Benny was fair, and the service was excellent! The new windows are great, but expensive!
