David was knowledgeable, and well priced for his services. We had him move an 8.5’ pool table from one location to another and set it back up. He set it up perfectly and even gave us a few suggestions for maintenance in the future. We will definitely hire him again!

Very professional and courteous at all times. Discussed the job at hand and discussed any questions before the work was started. Turn around time for take-down and re-install was within a couple of days. Upon reassembly he ensured placement was as desired prior to installing the slate. At the end of the job again asked if there were any questions and supplied suggestions for general maintenance. Really great experience and would hire again if the need arises.

I scheduled David to teardown our pool table on a Monday so that our new carpet could be installed on Tuesday and Wednesday. He came back on Thursday to reassemble the table. David was very punctual and performed the requested services very expertly and efficiently. I will use David again if I need similar services or any repair on our table.

Dave showed up and got right to work disassembling the pool table. In no time at all, the pool table was taken apart, hauled upstairs and loaded up for transport. The install at the other end went just as great. Very helpful with recommending proper placement and care of pool table. Great job and would recommend to anyone!

Awesome job!! David is a real pro. Responded to my request very quickly. He outlined the work plan in detail during a phone call. We arranged a date and time that he would perform the service. David confirmed our appointment both later on the day of our original telephone conversation and one day prior to his visit. He sent a text message when he was on the way. Arrived promptly at the appointment time and wasted no time starting the work. At the end of the project, he explained a few items about the setup and answered any question which I had. David told me to connect with him with any additional questions and/or concerns.. That's customer service at its best!!

Dave and his crew moved a pool table to our home. They were professional and timely. The pool table was reassembled perfectly. You could tell they took pride in their work. They are definitely skilled in their trade. Would use them again.

My 15 year old Brunswick table had slate sections out of level and crumbling seam filler creating bumps under the cloth. After seeing other positive reviews on Angie’s list I called Evolution Billiard Services and left a message. David the owner returned my call within a few hours and we discussed the problem and what he recommended to fix it. He scheduled me for a general tune-up that included removing the rails and cloth, leveling the table and each individual slate section, filling the slate joints and reassembly. The service was performed by David and his assistant in less than a week from my call and took approximately 2 hours. I learned a lot about my table’s construction and could easily see what a bad job the the original installers did. The care and attention to detail taken by Evolution was a thing of beauty to behold and my table plays better now than it did when first installed. He was on time, answered all my questions, cleaned up afterward, gave me maintenance tips and left the table better than new. All for a very reasonable price, what more could you ask for!

David Cothran personally answered my call, asked pertinent questions and gave me a tentative estimate as well as accurately described my options. We scheduled a date for him to remove the cushions/rails. He arrived promptly and we again discussed my options and he confirmed the estimate. As I was not in a hurry to have the work completed, he took the rails and cushions back to his shop, which after researching the procedure, was the best practice for the cushion replacement and recovering. He returned on the agreed date and time and completed the work. The seams were checked and corrected, table leveled, recovered and rails/cushions reinstalled quickly and accurately. Afterwards he offered excellent advice on cleaning, maintaining and protecting the table. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, expertise and personable interaction. I highly recommend David Evolution Billiard Services.

David and his crew did a phenomenal job. Our ten-year old pool table looks brand new. During the recovering process, David found some issues related to the original installation, and general wear and tear. He fixed those issues as well, so it is in better shape than it has been for years. I would highly recommend Evolution Billiard Services.

I would only recommend Dave to move your table. He was reasonable, professional, and prompt. He took great care of my prized possession and moved it over 40 miles away and reinstalled. He was over 50% less than the “retailers” but the quality was second to none. Highly recommended.

Evolution Billiards was to ONLY company who responded to my request to move this pool table. Their response to my request was quick. The owner was very professional in all email, phone and moving day contacts. The work was completed in a timely manner. It was completed as discussed. The owner himself was involved in this move. I would definitely use this company again for any pool table need. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

David did a great job. We bought a pool table from a neighbor. He moved it to our house and made sure the table is level. Moving a pool table is difficult and complex. You definitely need a professional. I highly recommend David Cothran.

Terrific...David explained over the phone what he would have to probably do as well as other alternatives and quoted prices for all. He answered my call the same day and came out to do the job on the next business day....The billed price was exactly what he had quoted on the phone...The job was done quickly, efficiently and very professionally....Would not hesitate to call him again if there would be a pool table problem....

You will not regret hiring David. I took down my pool table to have new flooring installed. I have always set up my pool table myself but wanted to freshen it up with new felt and pockets since the table is 20 years old. Called David left a message and he called me back within a couple hours. Wasn't expecting such a quick response as I am finding it harder and harder to find contractors who care about the customer and take pride in their work. The leather pockets needed to be worked and he put me in touch with another guy who does leather work. We then agreed on a date for David to show up but when I had a family issue come up it was no problem to change. What really impressed me was 3 days before he was scheduled to show up I realized a couple of the bumpers needed replaced. I called David and he made it happen. It would have been very easy for him to push my date back, and I even gave him the option since this was a last min request. He insisted on keeping the appt and made it happen. While at my house he was very professional and double and triple checked that everything was right. Cleaned up and you couldn't even tell he had been there. He noticed I have 2 young boys and even gave me a few tips on how to protect the table when teaching them to play by using some scrap pieces of felt. Again you will not find someone who takes more pride in his work and that is very refreshing to see. Thanks David!

I had high hopes after reading the reviews and the price seemed reasonable. Dave and his helper Chris were exactly what I had hoped for and they performed all dis-assembly, relocation and re-assembly work flawlessly. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and wants a high quality end product for his customers. They finished this work faster than originally discussed. I would highly recommend Dave for any pool table related work and plan to hire him again when we replace the felt in a couple of years.

It went very well. The guys were courteous and clean. On a side note, my dog broke her leash and the owner was kind enough to catch her in pursuit of chasing the neighbor's cat. I appreciated the help and thoughtfulness. I would gladly recommend the service to others.
