Based on previous positive reviews on Angie's List, I called Egbert Mowing on 7/7/2011 and left a message. It's now 7/13/2011 and I haven't even gotten a call back. I think 5 business days (could be more) is more than enough to show I'm trying to be patient.

This company never bothered to return my calls.

Tim does a great job. He responds to emails and calls very quickly and sends me reminder emails to check to see whether I want the entire yard cut or just the front yard. The yard always looks really good when he's done.

I just hired this company recently. So far, they have cut my lawn 3 times. They do a good job and are very professional.

I have used a different firm for the last 2 years who failed to impress me - they never showed up on time, the work wasn't always done well and their responsiveness level was appalling. Tim on the other hand did everything perfectly. When I rang for a quote, I got a return call within 24 hours and he came out the same day to look at and cut my grass once we agreed on the price. He ensures the grass is always cut without any prompting, including when I'm away. The work is always done well and he ensures the back gate to my yard is closed. The only way you would ever know he had been is that the grass is cut! I am also in the process of moving and he rang to check he should cut the grass when he saw the board on my front yard - a really amazing courtesy and one I appreciated.

He was always punctual and if the lawn didn't require mowing that week, he let us know that he wouldn't be coming. Also hired Tim to remove yard/landscaping waste from a far corner of our backyard, as well as seeding the far back. This was in preparation to sell our home and move out of state. I don't remember the charge for that service, but we were happy with everything that he did for us.

Very satisfied with all the services completed and have just spoken with Tim about some landscaping. I find that he is very considerate of budgets and future needs. I have recommended him to a neighbor who is also happy with his services. Very happy with all Tim's services. Thanks Angie

Said he didn't charge any travel fees, but he was going to. I gave him my address, which he said was too far. He stated he would give me a call back, but he never did.

I've used Egbert before to take care of the lawn at a house I inherited as well as at our old house as it was waiting to be sold. Always professional, friendly, on-time and they do great work. I would highly recommend.

They do a great job and keep my yard looking neat. They are there when supposed to be, and they stay until the job is finished. I will continue to use them in the future.

Tim has done a very nice job mowing our lawn weekly. He is thorough, punctual and very professional. I would recommend him.

Good job overall. There were still a few dandelions standing after the yard was mowed so the blade could have been a little sharper. Other than that, no complaints.

Originally, I contacted Tim Egbert to mow my lawn, and he said he'd be out in about 3 days to look at the lawn and give an estimate, though I didn't need to be home. It was about a week later and I was sitting at home and saw someone walking around my yard, and after panicking for a moment why some guy was walking in my back yard (since it wasn't the day he'd said he'd come by), I realized it was Mr. Egbert and went to meet him outside. He was polite and gave me a price on the spot that I thought was very reasonable. Plus the first cut is 25% off, which made me feel good about giving him a shot. After the first cut, I thought the weed-trimming was a little too close to the ground around the trees and fence, but this was easily fixed after I spoke with him and he asked if I was pleased with the work he was doing. I have a fairly large lawn and it always looks good after Egbert Mowing is done with it. Another plus is Tim adjusts the schedule if it hasn't been raining and there's been no growth. He was even accommodating when I called and asked him to delay an additional week due to having terribly dry conditions. He's been polite and friendly, and I'm happy with the work he does. I normally hate paying someone to do something I can do myself, but this has been worth it and has taken a burden off my shoulders. I drive in the driveway and "Ahhhh," a nice, neatly mowed and manicured lawn awaits me, and I can enjoy my evening instead of sweating behind a mower for an hour-and-a-half!

Tim was quick to respond. He provided me with a quote the same day that I called. He mowed and edged my yard two days later. The work was excellent. The initial mowing cost was $50 (to get it cleaned up) and future mowing will be $25 each.

I found the person very unprofessional. First time I called, he said he would come in the following Monday and that I did not need to be home. When I called later, he said he couldn't make but would come the next Monday. I stayed at home on Monday for him and he kept saying that he will be over in a while. Did not show up.

Tim does a great job. Extremely fast and the yard work always looks fantastic! Great price for the great service!

Egbert Mowing came to my house to mow both the front and side yards at my home. I was very satisfied with his work. He calls me before arriving, and he is always very clean and professional. I would definitely use him again.

They are great and reliable with great prices and easy to work with.
