Never got an estimate or heard from them again.

The price Tim gave me for mowing seemed reasonable, and one of the cheaper of the multiple quotes I got. His unresponsiveness made it impossible to feel confident in working with him. We have decided to go with another company.

After several unsatisfactory experiences with lawn service, I contacted Tim with Egbert Mowing. He was prompt in gett back to me, gave me a quote and started right away. I was never home when the service was performed, but his crew did a great job. My yard never looked better. The edging was beautiful and all debris swept or blown away. I've already contacted him regarding continuing his lawn service for 2013.

The work was done to our specifications. Work was delayed from the originally-scheduled date, but got done before our deadline (we had guests coming). All communication could be accomplished by email, which was a great convenience.

Charges a flat fee for the mowing service and a flat per hour fee for the landscaping work. His fees are very reasonable. Tim is extremely flexible and easy to work with. Thorough and cleans up well after the job is finished. I would definitely recommend his services. I found Tim on Angie's list in the first place and was very satisfied with the work done. I will definitely have him back again next year.

Tim and his team have always done a fantastic job! Over the past year and a half I have used them several times, and have always been happy. They have provided services as small as lawn mowing/small plantings, up to tree removal and renovating/landscaping a difficult area. They have always been terrific to work with (even when my plans changed, or I wanted to use plants I already had, or needed last-minute stuff done, etc) and their prices have been reasonable and their work looks great. He is also great about telling me what will/will not work in an area (based on sun exposure, a steep hill, etc), and telling me how to care for what he has planted.

Two neighbors and myself were not happy with the job being done by another lawn service that we had been using for years. We are senior citizens, on a fixed income. I checked Angie's List and read all the positive reviews about Egbert Mowing so I called them. Tim returned my call and came out the following day. I explained what we wanted to have done and Tim gave me a price. After the first cutting, we knew we had chosen a good lawn service because everything looked so neat and trimmed. We were accustomed to seeing misc. weeds sticking up around the trees, but the yards looked beautiful . There was such an improvement over the former lawn service we had been using. Tim did an A+++ job. He is very honest and will not take advantage of a person. He does not "milk" the client by cutting the grass when it doesn't need to be cut. And, when he does cut the grass, he does an excellent job.

Tim was prompt in his reponse and clear in what he could afford to give me as far as time, and I appreciate that. Since I am only looking for nonskilled labor to do yard work, his fees are much too high for me.

We were putting our house on the market and we needed to hire someone to do landscaping. The realty company gave us two recommendations and we found Tim along with another landscaper on Angie?s list. Tim?s estimate was one of the lowest, he had some very good ideas, and he was very likeable. He and his crew were very professional and responsive. They worked tirelessly in very hot conditions. Tim and his crew made sure they completed everything they said they would, consulting with us regularly along the way. The price was reasonable and did not exceed the original estimate. We were extremely happy with the results and we hired Egbert Mowing to maintain the lawn until the house sells. To sum it up in six words ? EXCELLENT WORK AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE!

I called for an estimate and Tim was at my house that evening to meet me. He agreed to come the next day to do the work requested. His estimate was very fair. The yard was mowed, trimmed, grass cleared, and the limbs removed - just as requested. The work performed was better than expected - better than I can do myself!

Egbert Mowing has been mowing our yard for several years and has always done a fine job. This year we had them edge and mulch the front beds and relocate part of a stepping stone path. In the past I've done the mulching myself because I am particular about having all the debris removed from the beds before mulch is spread. Brian and Chris from Egbert did an outstanding job. They were knowledgable about landscaping, pleasant and professional. I wasn't sure I would ever find anyone who would do the kind of job I envisioned, but these guys delivered. We'll be using them to do the rest of the yard.

I was thrilled with their work and will definitely use them again!! OK, Tim was a little slow in getting an estimate to me. (It took a week and a second call) However, he and his crew showed up on time to do the work and completed it in a timely fashion so I don't hold that against him. All my neighbors are admiring my yard---it has never looked better.

I found him on Angie’s List. He is great. He is very responsive and does what he says he would do. He has been consistent and responsive to my needs.

Tim was very responsive to our request for an estimate and then he followed up quickly to schedule us. He gave us days that he would be renting the slit seeder so we could share the cost with the other jobs which was great! His crew arrived on time, were very friendly and did a great job. They were pickier about the metal edging than I was and I didn't think that was possible... Overall my husband and I were very happy with the whole process. We will definitely call Tim for next year's yard work!

I emailed Tim on a Sunday, no less, and he responded that same day with a telephone call. Arranged to come the next day to give me a price for lawn cutting services and to work up estimates for some gardening issues I needed help with. Then he came the next day, on Tuesday, as promised to mow my lawn etc. No further gardening jobs have been done, as yet, as I am still deciding what it is I want to do. I do intend to hire Tim to continue to help me with other gardening issues.

Don't waste your time with this contractor. He does not return calls. Tim Egbert said he serviced my area, that he would be mowing my yard on April 6, and discuss what further I wanted done. I told him that I would stay at home to receive him. At or about 3pm, that day, I called him, since he had not called me or showed up, and asked whether he still planned to make it to my house. He did not answer my call and left a message on his cell phone. He did not return my call that day. On April 9, he called to tell me that he ready to mow my lawn. I told him that since I didn?t hear from him on April 6, I didn?t think he was too interested in servicing my lawn, and told him that I had hired another service. He replied that he called me three times on April 6, but my telephone answering service would not allow him to leave a message!!!??? I told him my telephone was in perfect working order and that no one else has ever had a problem leaving a message on my machine. I further told him that I was home all day on April 6, since I was expecting him, and that the phone didn?t ring at all! This contractor runs hot and cold, is not consistently dependable, and seems to have had problems with communication with other Angie?s List members. In the future, I will pay closer attention to the reviews of other members.

I left an email Friday, Tim came punctually Sunday, gave me an email estimate by Monday morning and showed up the same day! His crew worked hard for the stated number of hours and did exactly what we wanted; the whole yard looks much better. Our yard didn't need mowing but did need lots of clean up, mulching, and some ideas of future landscaping. Very pleased!

Tim couldn't have been easier to work with. We traded a few emails, scheduled the work, his team came out on time, did a great job, and sent an invoice promptly. It's the way you wish everyone would work!

He arrived in am with trailer to haul yard waste. Worked for approximately five and half hours including a 45 minute break.

Just moved. Had no mower. Called Tim and he came out the same day. Fast, efficient and did a good job. Nice fellow.

I normally mow my own lawn with a push mower but every once and a while it gets away from me (working a lot, traveling, etc). When this happens I usually try and find a professional to come and deal with it for me, which can be somewhat difficult as more often than not it seems like companies aren't all that interested in one-time or very infrequent jobs. Egbert Mowing was great about it. I sent an email to Tim on Monday (08/01) explaining the situation. I had a response back in less than 24 hours indicating he was interested. Within another 24 hours I had a detailed estimate ($110). On 08/05 I asked Tim to proceed and later that same day he got back to me indicating he would be able to do the job on 08/08 or 08/09. On 08/06 I was talking to a neighbor with a tractor who kindly offered to come over and mow for me. I sent an email to Tim and asked to cancel. He responded immediately and said it wasn't a problem at all, which was wonderful. If I decide to have my lawn mowed professionally on a regular basis or ever find myself in this situation again, I would definitely get in touch with Egbert Mowing.
