Went very well. Definitely reduced the amount of UV rays entering through the window. Was doubtful it would reduce the heat as they said, but IT DID ! Worked so well in the original room, that I had a second room done.

Very helpful in selecting the window tint. Scheduling the appointment and timely completion was excellent. Price seemed a little high but they offer top product, top service, and lifetime warranty.

The service was great. The salesperson was very informative, he answered all my questions and was very helpful when I was deciding on which tint would look the best on my car. My car was taken in at my appointment time and was ready when they said it would be. The car windows look fantastic, the shade is perfect. I have had several compliments on the windows.

The 2 representatives (Mike & Kevin) arrived early, which was nice, introduced themselves, then quickly went to work. They were very polite, professional and finished in about an hour. They hung back the drapes, cleaned up quickly.A job well done.

After successfully installing window tint and a radar detector in my truck on January 3, 2014 myself and the owner of the company stood at the counter of the business while he specifcally checked to make sure the NAV TV module that he would order for me would allow me to operate the factory front camera of my 2014 Ford F150 Raptor. On January 10, 2014 the NAV TV module was installed in my truck. Upon paying the business and going outside so the installer could show me how it worked, I was told at that time only that the NAV TV module would not enable me to use the front camera at all. On January 11, 2014 I sent Rick Puthoff, the owner of the company and person who sold me the NAV TV module an email stating that the product was not only not working as promised but that it was not functioning properly. On the same day, Rick replied that he would look inot it and that he had over-charged me by $100 to begin with. On January 16, 2014 I still had not heard back from Rick. I also sent him an email at this time to tell him that the NAV TV module was coming on intermittently and that I was unable to turn it off or override it. On January 16, 2014 I also offered to Rick that he uninstall the NAV TV module and return it and install some custom lighting that I had in return. I noted that I would pay for the labor for the original NAV TV install as well as for the labor to install the custom lighting that I had already purchased. Having not heard back from Rick yet I called him on January 22, 2014 only to be told that he was busy and still looking into it. Rick implied at that time that he would see about getting the NAV TV fixed but that the installation and un-installation costs were mine to bear. I decided at that time that due to the fact that the NAV TV would not perform as I originally was promised that I did not want the product any longer. On February 3, 2014 I scheduled an appointment to have the NAV TV module removed and the custom lighting installed. I arrived for my appointment and was told that due to several employees not coming to work they could uninstall the NAV TV but could not install the custom lighting for me. Once the NAV TV unit was uninstalled I offered to pay for the labor involved and was specifically told by the Eclipse representative that I would not have to pay for it and that the NAV TV unit was defective and would be returned. On February 6, 2014 I sent Rick an email noting that I had the NAV TV unit uninstalled on the 3rd and that I would like a refund. On February 7, 2014 Rick replied that NAV TV does not return installed NAV TV units and that while they would try to get a return authorization for the product that I should not expect a refund. Rick noted that his vendors dictate how he does business and that a refund or even partial credit would take weeks if not months to get; he also acknowledged that he owed me for the $100 overcharge in his reply. On Februiary 7, 2014 I replied to Rick to point out that not only did the NAV TV product not function as he promised but that it was defective and for those two reasons I wanted a full refund. I told Rick in my reply that I expected a full refund or would dispute what he had charged me. Rick's reply on the same day was that "you are welcome to dispute it" and that a new NAV TV (which would still not perform as I requested it originally) or partial credit was all that I was due. He also noted that special order items are not returnable even though he had not indicated the product as special order or his return policy in any manner since the beginning. Simply put, Rick sold me an apple under the premise that it was an orange. When I tried to return the apple he said sorry "we don't accept apple returns and even if we did you still have to pay us for the costs of growing it. Rick, as the owner of the business made it clear to me that he was in it for the money and not for the customers. I will not due business with Eclipse again.

It was excellent. They just did good advice and they didn't try to oversell.

Purchased a new Honda Fit- love the car except it doesn't have factory window tint available. It's like sitting in a greenhouse. Eclipse had several examples of tinting available but really hard to tell how it'll look on your vehicle. I did not want too dark; looking for a "stock" look found on more expensive autos. They convinced me to go with a 50% which I thought would be too dark. Boy was I wrong! The tint looks great. Light enough I can see out in all weather conditions yet it dropped the heat factor dramatically. Highly recommend them. Go with the top line tint- it cost a lot but doesn't look like aftermarket.

They were very professional. I have more of a high-end car and they had done similar ones in the past, so it put my mind at ease knowing they had experience.

Dustin was very professional and knowledgable about his products. He and Mike came the day after our free estimate to install the product on our windows. We were happy about how quickly they were able to come and install. They were timely, courteous and informative. (Not to mention the amazing warranty included in our purchase.) We now have great protection from light, UV, glare and added insulation to our double paned windows. Very happy with our decision to work with them.

At this stage I found the owner of Eclipse Tinting to be informative and am looking forward to the site visit. I will update the report on Eclipse Tinting after meeting with Rick, calling the references and possibly having the work done. I looked within Angie's List to find only 1 window tinting company and the reviews were a couple years old, so I am hoping to add a more recent experience with window tinting company and one that I hope I can recommend to others.
