+ -1 moreThey evaluated the situation and managed to get the old air conditioner working long enough to get a new one ordered. Because of the low ceiling and height of the furnace, they had to have a custom coil made, which they took care of. The installation was difficult, but completed in one day.
Description of Work: They replaced a complete air conditioning system.

+ -1 moreDUNCAN HEATING AND A/C WAS ABLE TO FIT US INTO THEIR SCHEDULE THAT SAME WEEK. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND SHOWED US THINGS TO DO TO KEEP THE FAMILY SAFE FROM ACCIDENTS WITH THE HEATER AND A/C. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GOOD JOB.
Description of Work: DUNCAN HEATING AND A/C CAME OUT TO MY HOUSE TO CHECK OUT THE AIR CONDITIONER BEFORE SUMMER HEAT SET IN. THEY REPLACED THE FILTERS, CHARGED THE SYSTEM AND PROGRAMMED THE STAT.

+ -1 moreBE WARY IF ANYONE SAYS YOU NEED A WHOLE NEW FURNACE. GET A 2ND OPINION, AT THE VERY LEAST.
Description of Work: MY FURNACE WENT OUT WHEN IT WAS 30 DEGREES OUTSIDE. I CALLED THEM SINCE THEIR STICKER WAS ON THE FURNACE. THEY SHOWED UP PROMPTLY, THEIR SERVICE MAN SAID A LINE IN THE FURNACE WAS BLOCKED, TAPPED SOMETHING WITH A SCREWDRIVER TO GET IT WORKING AGAIN, AND SAID WE WOULD NEED A NEW FURNACE BECAUSE OURS WAS OVER 20 YEARS OLD. THEY SENT OUT A MAN LATER THAT AFTERNOON TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $3,000. TWO DAYS LATER THE FURNACE WENT OUT AGAIN. I TRIED ANOTHER COMPANY, WHO REPLACED A PART, FIXED THE FURNACE AND SAID IT IS ONLY 18 YEARS OLD AND WOULD LAST A FEW MORE YEARS.

+ -1 moreI FELT LIKE THEY WERE KIND OF PUSHY WHEN I WAS CONSIDERING THEIR RECOMMENDATION TO REPLACE THE FURNACE. I AGREED TO GO WITH A NEW 82% EFFICIENCY LENNOX FURNACE.
Description of Work: FIRST CALLED THEM OUT TO CHECK MY FURNACE. RATHER THAN A BLUE FLAME IT WAS BURNING YELLOW.
