he had to make a new outlet. I was very pleased with the work he did. He showed up on time, cleaned up every where. I would highly recommend him .

Prior to choosing Don to do the work, I had gotten two other estimates from the top of Angie's list and Don's estimate was significantly lower than both. We found Don to be competent, flexible and easy to work with and I would recommend him without reservation.

Don gave us an estimate for $1600 for what we thought was the complete job. He did the described work. However there were several issues with the low-voltage lighting. He did not seem very comfortable with it. We had an issue with the under-cabinet lighting as the circuit breaker blew as soon as the switch was turned on. He thought it was a bad transformer. We found out though Becker Lighting that we needed a different type of circuit breaker which Don had never heard of. We had to order one ourselves. After he installed the circuit breaker and the transformer again, we turned on the lights and they all blew (one exploded). It turned out, he had wired the transformer backwards (12V to 120V). We had to replace all the bulbs. Becker had him talk with the manufacturer's technical people for installation help. The lights came on faintly. Don again thought the transformer was bad. We found out it wasn't installed within the distance specs. We corrected that but still had issues. We found out instructions weren't followed to a "T" and those lights didn't work. Don washed his hands of the in-cabinet lighting and we finished the work ourselves. Generally, the regular 120 volt work was done without issue. After he was completed, we got the bill and was shocked to find that it was double the estimate. He said that the original estimate was for only part of the job. It was given to the kitchen contractor and, unfortunately, not in writing.
