+ 0 moreThe owner of the company, Don McNeel, did an excellent job. He has actually been a friend of ours and he did it. We have been very pleased with what he did. He did a much better job than the other people recommended to us. They were not really giving as much for the dollar as what he was. We have a small kitchen and rather than kind of going to the end and then there is a stove, he made it kind of a walk in and then it goes all the way to the wall. It makes it feel bigger.
Description of Work: We used the big deal that we purchased from DGM Transformations in May or June for remodeling the kitchen which included putting in new bigger cabinets all the way to the ceiling, a new stove, a new microwave and a new floor and redoing the design.

Description of Work: He did not show up to do the work like he said, but he was going to do handymen services for me.

replacement windows
+ -1 more.They have always done a fine job with anything I have asked them to do, from electrical to carpentry. It was economical and thorough and the tenants are happy with them. I would use them again.

+ 3 moreDon is the exception to the rule among contractors in this area which seems to be doing things "when they get around to it." He came over and viewed the situation promptly, emailed me an estimate as an attachment the next day and performed the work a few days later. He showed a great deal of versatility and creativity in dealing with an old out-of-plumb house...and a homeowner who is not much better. I was especially impressed with his use of a coping saw!. The wiring works great and the ceiling looks like a tin ceiling with a coat of shiny new white paint!
Description of Work: Don McNeel and crew did several jobs for me; they installed new wiring in several places to replace old "tube and loop" wiring and installed a fiber ceiling over a gridwork in the upstairs hallway as well as some odds and ends. It was tedious and complicated work.
