Description of Work: Repaired leaks in our flat roof w/chimney: removed chimney to roof line; replaced flat roof w/tapered roof and covered w/rubber roof system; removed siding from adjoining gable and installed house wrap moisture and vapor barrier and new j-channel down gable and around window, then reapplied siding. Repaired leaks in other section of house: repaired chimney, replacing mortar chimney cap and tuck pointing. Installed new vent pipe boots to plumbing stacks. |During planning process answered all our questions to our satisfaction and offered several options explaining advantages and disadvantages. Discussed w/ us some of the suggestions offered by other project bidders and agreed to include some of those per our request. Modified contract per our requests to include details from discussions and verbal agreements. |Once begun, the 2 workers remained on the job steadily, morning to night, and completed the project in the 3 days promised. Kept us advised of progress. The completed roof job was neat, attractive and successful--no leaks since, in spite of heavy rains w/ and w/o winds! The major debris pile from day 1 was cleaned up promptly. When job was complete there was no sign on the ground that a roofing project had been done. The 2 workers were experienced, knowledgeable, and hard workers. We could not have asked for better! We were especially appreciative that they carefully removed the siding so that it could be reapplied, saving us the additional cost of new siding and the headache of trying to match new siding for the back gable to the 7 y-o siding on the front gable. |The price of this project was more than fair!

Description of Work: Hired for roof repair to patch a leak. The repair work did not work as the very next time it rained we were still having leaks. They did come back out to look at it but said that the roof can't be repaired but needs to be replaced. There was no sense of urgency and even to get a simple quote seemed to take weeks. When their repair work did not hold up they did not offer any sort of a refund only a credit if we decided to use them in the future to have our roof replaced. Will probably have to take them to court to receive any sort of refund.

Description of Work: The project included removal of two layers of roof shingles, tar paper and replacement of any damaged plywood for our roof; Installation of new tar paper and shingles and flashing where needed. In addition, old gutters were removed and replaced along with gutter guard. Replacement of porch ceiling, adding insulation board for behind siding, and installation of new siding. Also installed new shutters. And finally, we had them blow in extra insulation into our Attic. It was a big job. | |While they were not necessary the lowest bid received, we were much more comfortable with this company over others after our initial inquiries and subsequent meetings with their various employees/representatives. | |We would highly recommend them. | |Nick Sabino was wonderful to work with, he took plenty of time looking over and inspecting our current roof and siding & gutters, as well as our attic. He provided a detailed estimate and took time to go over the scope of each aspect of the job leading up to the final contract. | |In addition, we had great experiences with other employees as well: the actual roofers, siding & gutter installers, and individuals who added insulation to our roof, as well as the respective site managers. All were very professional, polite, and responsive to any questions or concerns we had during the project. In addition, they took time at the end of each day to clean up the jobsite before leaving for the day. Thus, we did not have to worry about trash, staples, nails, etc.lying around our yard and property. | |The only negative to the entire experience was difficulty in reaching and obtaining a timely response to questions about scheduling of the various portions of the job from the operations manager, Jen Meiners. | |However, that would not keep us from using them again or recommending them to others. | |

Description of Work: New gutters and downspouts. Also custom flashing where a porch addition meets the house. |The first piece of flashing underperformed in the rain. After my second meeting with the installer and the job coordinator and a few more photos and their meeting with their team, I had a second piece of flashing that worked PERFECTLY!!! No leaks and run-off where it was supposed to go! |

Description of Work: I had Deer Park Roofing out for an estimate for complete gutter and downspout replacement. It took me three phone calls and three weeks to get them out to the house. I will disclose that it was after the Home and Garden Show which delayed them some, however they scheduled a date two weeks after my initial phone call to be there and failed to show up. When they resheduled they failed to show up again. They finally showed up unannounced a day later. I was home (vehicle parked in driveway so it was obvious) but they did not ring the door bell to introduce themself our explain their product. Having said that they also left out some important things I asked them to include in the estimate and were 500 dollars more than the next closest price (that is 20% more considering the total price of the other two companies estimates). I never received a phone call to discuss the estimate to make sure I understood everything and to see if I had any questions.

Description of Work: We had two sections of gutters replaced and a slate on the roof repaired. They were quite prompt in getting back to me to arrange an estimate. The gentleman who did the estimate was very professional. They did the work. It looks good, but I had two specific questions for them, and they have not yet responded. I would like answers to my questions before I pay them. In addition, one additional slate needs to be repaired (it has just slipped), and they haven't called back to do that. I think they did excellent, quick work, but I want to know if the gutters are aluminum or galvanized, and we still need that one slate repaired. I have emailed them also. I don't want to say anything really bad about them, as my experience was good, but I want the repair finalized so that I can pay them.

Description of Work: Deer Park Roofing had completed gutter guard work for me in the past. I had them come back out as some the wood on part of my soffit was rotting and I believed this to be a potential area for critters to enter my attic. The guys at DPR came out very promptly upon calling them. They were punctual and replaced the wood end cap on the part of my soffit that was rotting. They re-painted the repaired wood and cleaned up after themselves. Their price could not be beat! I would highly recommend Deer Park Roofing for anyone looking for siding, gutter or roof work. Description of Work: I called and asked for a quote. Girl called me back to set up a time. I indicated my availability. She said she would call back. She never called back. Update: Frankly, there are dozens of larger contractors on angies list who get reports from guys like me, people who contact a larger company at busy season and our cases fall through the cracks, or someone doesnt update their records, no one takes them that seriously. I sincerely believe that Deer Park Roofing company is probably a great company to work with and for and that they have a great staff. But everyone drops the ball sometimes and youre bound to have a few people who get frustrated. It happens. It is apart of working in a service or trade based industry. I just saw Deer Parks response to my post. To clarify. I never once received a call from an estimator. They made that up. Thanks for all of your help. Best of luck.
