Walked the complete two decks and hammered all nail sticking up. Sand complete deck and rails. The boys took there time to make sure no paint got on any glass or all my white sliding doors. Painted every nook and cranny and did not miss a spot. This can be very time consuming, but they did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone. GREAT JOB......THANK YOU SO MUCH. Very easy to communicate with. (Always returned calls promptly.)

1) Looking for expert advice and did receive it from Greg who is the owner. Greg guided me correctly and stopped me from replacing some of the boards on my deck as it would not solve the underlining problem. He suggested to nail the boards down for now and revisit the deck condition in a few years time. 2) Very good response time for reaching out to me whenever I needed to speak to Greg. He understands and respects customer's time. The staff is also very pleasant and courteous to work with. 3) Kept the appointment time and got the deck washed and stained on schedule. 4) Very competitive price. Greg knows what his competitors are charging so no need to shop around too much. 5) Try them out without a doubt. I am hoping to have them service my deck over the years. I do not like to change companies as long as people are honest and provide a fair price for their expertise. I think they have all the qualities each one looks for in a company.

I have a large deck and it was good. What I liked about it is that Greg wanted me to be satisfied and he had high expectations. He worked diligently to get the job done to the best of their ability.

After several attempts to stain our deck myself, researching products, too many hours of work, and a result of poor and peeling finish, I contacted Deck and Fence Renewal Systems three years ago based on a neighbor's recommendation. They efficiently stripped the deck and put on their formulated stain. It worked wonderfully and lasted longer than expected. No peeling, no discoloration, no return of wood to gray appearance. It kept its color well, though after 3 years decided to have it treated again for a fresh look and for better preservation of the wood. Some may choose to do this every 2 years, which is recommended for best results - especially for the first few times. I think this is wise for optimal results. I called Deck and Fence Renewal Systems this winter and got an immediate response from Greg Peters. As soon as weather permitted, they cleaned and washed the deck, then stained it a few days later. The cost actually went down substantially since stripping was not necessary and Greg was kind enough to match his prior price for cleaning and staining - even though I imagine his costs have gone up. The stain looks wonderful and the recent rains have proven that it was again a job well done. They even went above and beyond by doing additional work, free of charge, of staining a very large sandbox play area under the deck and a wood swing. It all matches and looks wonderful! I would never try a different stain, paint, or company for this job, and will never try to do it myself again. Knowing many neighbors who have struggled with finding a proper stain or staining company, as I have, I would recommend none other than Deck and Fence Renewal Systems.

Provider was contacted as a result of finding his services on Angies List. Provider came and gave an estimate to do the above services which was accepted. On Monday 10/14 the provider cleaned and pressure washed the entire deck surfaces to include the surrounding steps. Provider returned on 10/15 and sealed the entire cleaned surfaces with a clear coat sealant. The gentlemen who preformed the above services were very competant and took great care not to do anything to harm any abutting surfaces. All work was done in a very efficient manner and all areas were cleaned at the end of the service. I would recommend this company to any one who requested my opinion of their services.

Had a great experience with Deck & Fence Renewal Systems. Was able to conveniently request a quote via their website, and they called to let me know when they would be coming to quote. They quoted promptly and Greg Peters was very helpful in answering questions about the quote a determining what services I needed for my deck. Everything was handled very professionally. Greg was proactive about communication - letting me know when they would be coming, following up to get my color choice, etc - they billed promptly, and the deck looks great. Their quote was slightly higher than some others I received, but I was really impressed by Greg's expertise. When I last had my deck maintained several years ago - by a different company - I wasn't happy with the final look or how it lasted. Greg was able to explain to my the problems with the sealant they chose and why it wasn't a good fit for my deck. I'm very happy with the result of D&FRS and feel like the quality and confidence were worth the slightly higher cost.

Contacted Greg Peters to do the work. He came to our home to give us an estimate. His price was less than other competitors. We then considered putting in new fencing instead of cleaning and sealing old fencing. After several months, we decided to call Mr. Peters to do the work. His workers arrived on time and were careful not to disturb neighboring property owners (they covered up adjoining condo areas). They did an excellent job of cleaning the fence in preparation for sealing. They then came back the next week to paint the fencing. Several days of rain caused them to delay coming back to paint after cleaning. The fencing has to be dry to paint. When they came back, they again were very professional and did an excellent job.

These guys did a great job getting our deck ready for a party within a short time frame. We contacted them on a Monday, had a quote the next day, and the work was finished by the weekend despite a weather delay. Our painted deck was in lousy shape, so they came in to clean it, sand it down, and put on two coats of paint (solid stain). I thought we might have to go with one of the more expensive deck renewal type paints, which cost twice as much, but the contractor advised against it based on the condition of our deck not being as bad as I thought. I appreciated the savings - and their honesty! I'd definitely recommend them.

The men worked tirelessly in the blazing heat and did a terrific job making our old deck presentable again. It never looked so good. the new design is much better than the original and it is very nicely crafted.

They were very responsive to my phone calls, showed up when they said they would and did excellent work. What more could I want?

Provider was reluctant to perform project per my request. Provided information criticizing other contractors providing similar service. I did not think this was very professional and decided to not use them. After the fact, I'm glad I didn't.

They do an outstanding job. I have been using them for over 10 years.

I e-mailed to get a quote from him and got a phone call the same day to schedule a visit for an estimate. He went to the house the next day and had a very good quote for us. Called him up after a couple of days to schedule the work, and we agreed to wait for better weather since it was still cooler than usual and it was still either raining/snowing in mid-March. This week it was up to the 60's and was sunny so he called up to confirm the work schedule. He came out to pressure wash the deck and went back after a couple of days to stain/seal the deck after it dried. Due to my work schedule, I did not get to personally meet him and did all the transactions over e-mail and through the phone. I just saw after coming home the great job that they did with the deck! It looks good and I have confidence it was done well. Overall it took around 3 weeks from getting the quote to getting the job done. If the weather had been better, I'm sure it would have been done sooner. Greg was fantastic to work with and will definitely refer him to others and look them up in the future.

I called for an estimate. Greg Peters came out immediately and gave me an estimate before he left our property. I got some other estimates and then I called Greg to discuss specific points and prices on his estimate. I explained our deadline issue to Greg and he did not have a problem with that and he was able to adapt to our needs. I am very apprecuative for that.

Greg and his team did a great job. I found him by looking in Angie's list. He had excellent ratings there, and I was not disappointed. Our decks look like new.

The difference is amazing! We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the results.Our friends and family who knew how worn the decks had become were very impressed. It's now a pleasure to use our decks and we've been shopping for new deck furniture to match our "new decks". We would highly recommend Deck Renewal Systems. Called a couple of companies from Angies list for estimate in mid April, both were extremely prompt with response. Greg gave his estimate and although it was the higher of the two I liked product he used. He gave me his best available schedule which was the first week of June depending on the weather. On Friday June 1st. I got a call that they would be there to start on Monday (the first full week of June) The deck was pressure washed that day and they were able to return the next day to sand and re-stain and do some minor repairs. We chose the color and we are completely satified with their work and professionalism. We will have no question about using them in the future. Our only problem is we have not been able to enjoyed our deck because of the extreme temperatures this summer.

I called to receive a quote on stripping and reasealing or repainting our deck. The woman on the phone informed me that they could not give me a date someone would come to the house to give me a quote but that someone would call before they came. Really? While I do not have a problem with this business model, (I don't just show up at my dentist office and say "I want my appointment to be right now!") I get it. HOWEVER, someone representing the business simply showed up UNANNOUNCED on a Saterday (who works Saterday?!--they were lucky we were home) in an UNMARKED truck. This person could have been anyone--he had no business cards and no badge--only the quote paperwork (which could have been made up on someone's computer for all I knew at the time). What if my wife were the only one home--what would my neighbors think? What about her safety? My family's safety is my utmost concern. I thought it very unprofessional to just show up, unannounced, in an unmarked truck, with no identification, on a Saterday. Update: How am I disturbed (and what's with the personal attack)? I'm not asking for anything. I'm simply informing the public of a business model I disagree with. I stand by the facts of this case.

We received a fair estimate. The job was started and completed on time as it had been scheduled. We are very pleased with the work they did and will definitely use them.

They came out on a Friday and power washed the deck and bridge. Came back the next day and applied the stain. They even sanded any rough areas on the hand railing before staining.
