Description of Work: We got an estimate and decided not to do the repair. However repairman gave us a lot of helpful information and spent a lot of time with us.

Description of Work: Our washing machine tub was overflowing when filling with water. I had a great experience with the receptionist. she worked with my work schedule and made me the first visit of the day so i wouldn't have to miss too much work. Paul came out to fix our washing machine. Visit cost was $58, labor cost $54 (total $112). He was knowledgeable and discussed how we could avoid experiencing the same problem in the future. I will definitely use Day's again!

Description of Work: The free standing stove had quite working. The stove top was ok but not the oven. I called Dave's Appliance Repair and they came out in a few days and checked it out. The electronic panel had shorted out and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and came back the next week and installed it. The technician was very professional and extremely nice. Thanks Dave's Appliance Repair for coming to our rescue. Would recommend them to anyone that has any issues with their appliances.

Description of Work: We called Day's Appliance Repair after checking Angie's list for someone to fix our washing machine. It was making a noise that we knew was not just a belt. When I made the appointment they explained that there was a $58.00 diagnostic fee and that if the recommeded repairs were completed there would be a separate charge for parts/labor. The next day they responded promptly. The technician, Paul, was polite and professional. After looking at our machine he gave us the news. It could be repaired, but at a cost of $360.00. Since the washer is over 10 years old we decided that we would not have the machine repaired. Should we need repairs in the future we will certainly call them because the were honest about our situation and did not try to steer us into having them do expensive repairs on an old machine.

Description of Work: gas dryer was not drying clothes. Tech called and arrived within given window of time. Tech was polite and professional. I was given a written estimate of the problem and the cost of the repair. Steve [the tech] performed the repairs for the dryer per the written estimate and explained the repair and left the defective parts. Tech was excellent and completed the repairs within thirty minutes.

Description of Work: Dishwasher had leaked to floor & basement below. The repairman quickly spotted our problems (multiple) and disassembled the inside workings showing us where buildup had caused failure to drain and also failed shut-off to prevent new water coming in. We had almost decided on replacing the DW, but feel he gave us many more years of use. Also, he educated us on how to take care of this on our own in the future & what products to use in it with our hard water.

Description of Work: Our clothes dryer was not working properly so we called for service. Day's was out the next day and discovered two problems. They priced the parts and suggested that we may want to price a new dryer (our Kenmore was 10 yrs old) vs putting $300 in our old dryer. After shopping for a new dryer my wife decided she wanted to keep the old dryer which is a match with the washer. We called Day's and they came out the next day to repair the old dryer. Steve, the technician, took the dryer apart and thoroughly vacuumed out all the accumulated lint from 10 years and put in the new parts. The dryer works like new. We uses an Angie's List coupon to get 10% off the parts. Great job by Steve!

Description of Work: Our dryer was not heating correctly and my spouse felt the electric heating units were not operating correctly. PPerry came promptly and suggested that the dryer exhaust pipe was filled with lint' He did clean the dryer lint collector,but his company did not clean dryer exhausts./ he did recommend another business that cleaned the exhaust pipeing and we had them come in. It was determined thst whena new deck was aded to the house the deck builders created an interferencee with drywer exhaust which inturn jammed the exhaust pipe. The second company cleanedth exhause and adjusted the dryer cycle. For perfect repair.
