Description of Work: replaced heating element in dryer. Technician was at my house w/i 10m of the start of the appt window. Didn't take him long to figure out what was wrong & fix it. Very personable as well. Will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The timer was replaced in my washer. It took about a week for the part to come in but once it was here, they were here the next day and the repair was quick and painless! Really nice staff.

Description of Work: unplugged faulty relay to steam valve so that dryer could be used. I declined replacing the entire control valve. Justin was very helpful and I certainly would use them again

Description of Work: I was very impressed with both their prompt scheduling, willingness to work with my schedule, and the service. The repair man couldn't have been nicer, and actually offered to help me with a defective door lock while he was there! He took the dryer apart, replaced the belt, and had it up and running in less than an hour. I have already recommended this company to others and will be calling them back whenever I need service again.

Description of Work: Repaired low freon situation in freezer

Description of Work: The service technician was there right on time, inspected the washing machine, and within 5 minutes let me know we needed a new one, and why. He went above and beyond by recommending a certain store in our area to purchase a new washer that saved us several hundred dollars. He then reassembled the washer, put everything back the way it was, and cleaned up the area. He was personable, professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: looked at frigidaire refrigerator to see why water form ice and water dispenser smelled and tasted like mineral oil. Had no clue other than changing filter which I have been doing every three months There were not qualified to do any investigative work Big waste of money and time

Description of Work: I had several appliances that needed attention: 1)Oven that was running too hot 2) Dryer that needed new handle 3) Dishwasher I thought was running too long 4) Second oven running too hot. They were able to send someone the day after I called. Pat from Day's appliance was great! He recalibrated the one oven (and showed me how to do it, if needed), replaced the dryer handle and explained the inner workings of it while he had the door apart. Turns out the one oven was fine and the dishwasher is just an older model that runs long. Pat also told me a great way to clean my dishwasher basin with vinegar and the garbage disposal with lemons and ice. I've already sung Day's praises to neighbors and will use again, if needed. I'll request Pat because he did a great job explaining things.

Description of Work: Our oven quit working on Christmas Eve Day. The service person came to our home on CHRISTMAS EVE DAY!! The bad news - he didn't have the needed part ( very understandable though). He gave us correct information on how much a new oven would cost ( when we asked) It was the prudent move to just get it fixed. He ordered the part, arrived on New's Eve Day and he again came over to install ( on the Holiday again). They only charged one service call since they didn't have the part. The service person was so very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. Our oven was back in business - New Year Eve Day. It was wonderful. Would gladly use them again and would highly recommend!!

Description of Work: Ice maker failure

Description of Work: They removed a partially-melted appliance light bulb from the oven light socket on my kitchen range, and recalibrated the oven. The tech did an excellent job, and was completely professional, friendly, and informative. I will use this company again. My only negative comment would be that there was some scheduling mix-up that day that put the tech behind schedule: as a result, I had to change some plans. But everybody I dealt with was gracious and professional.

Description of Work: It was a shot drain valve on a whirlapol Dish washer. He was able to get a replacement and install it in two days. Gave some good advice on keeping it running longer. Run an empty hot cycle. After the first fill, add 3 cups of cheap vinagar and let it run to completion. Do it about every month as I remember. I would think 3 months might be better to match up with my maintenance schedule.
