Day's Appliance Repair Co

The service techs (Pat & Drew) arrived right at the end of the 4 hour time frame I was given (10AM to 2PM). Both were very friendly and they worked very efficiently. They diagnosed the problem with in 10 minutes and had the machine repaired in another 20 minutes. I feel they did a very good job and for a reasonable price.

The dryer was making a loud screaming noise. We were able to get a service appointment for the next day. They even left a message to tell us they had an opening and could come the same day, but we were out. The technician was very prompt and actually had diagnosed the problem just from my description. Not only did he fix the dryer so it runs fine, but he also found a problem with the latch on our washer and referred us to a local company that could provide a replacement part. He even got me the part number and told me how to install the part.

Perry called to see how the streets were - ours was untreated. He called back about 3 hours later when the roads were passable and arrived shortly thereafter. He was courteous and honest in his assessment. We appreciated his candor and recommendations.

It went very well. Fast response time as well as professional company. Price was decent.

Very well. On time, even on a Saturday. Costs were outlined and met both before the trips and once the appliances were looked at. Had the same technician on both trips. He is honest and forthcoming. Can not speak for others but the technician sent on the jobs I needed was a straight-shooter and I very much appreciated it.

After three times out, the dishes still weren't getting clean, so our Home Warranty sent out a new company. The person from the new company actually pulled the dishwasher out into the kitchen to look at it; something Day's had not done. The second company was surprised to hear that hadn't been done any of the other times. The person from Day's was very nice and personable, but I wasn't sure if he took my concerns seriously. When I showed him some dishes that had come out still dirty, he said "that doesn't look too bad." He also had many suggestions for ways I wasn't using it right. I needed to load it differently, use different soap, use a rinse aid. Since the second company came out, the dishwasher is working much better, although still not perfectly, so I'm not sure if my needs were met by this company.

Roger was fast, courteous, and professional.

I was late getting to our scheduled apptointment. George was not only very professional he was extremely knowledgeable of the many types of refrigerators aboard our boat. The parts were ordered and within a week he had everything up and running. I will be using Day's in the future.

Perry was very nice and seemed to really search for a leak. He ran my machine through every possible setting, but the leak wouldn't show. I was charged $52+tax for the visit, which I did know about in advance. If the leak presents itself within 30 days the company will come back out without the service call charge.

Steve, the repairer, was on time and polite. I was sceptical about his recommendation to buy a new washer because he was initially unfamiliar with my model. Along with other factors, in addition to his recommendation (even though I didn't like it), I bought a new washer.

It was bad. The first time they came out, the gentleman that performed the work said it was dirty and we needed to run some vinegar through it to clean it out and it should work just fine. It didn't fix it. A second call had the same guy come out, he looked at it again and said we didn't run enough vinegar through it and to do it again with more and was a bit rude and condescending like we were idiots when we said we didn't think that was the problem. Still didn't work right. Third call had someone else come out who couldn't find anything wrong and suggested our detergent was bad (??). We figured it out on our own: that after going through one complete wash cycle and draining, it never refilled again. They never bothered to check that thoroughly. We found this out after we had already purchased a new dishwasher. The courtesy of the second tech and the people on the phones are what kept the Professionalism and Overall rating from being an F.

I called the number listed in the phone book for this area of town. The repairman was prompt and did a good job at what seems like a fair price.

We had to wait 1 week for an appointment because a specific technician was quite busy. A dispatcher called on the scheduled day when the tech was 1-hour away. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and skilled. He clearly explained what he was doing, what the results meant, and offered options of repairs he could make at different costs. He was quite friendly and courteous, and carefully cleaned up the work area.

Works great. Steve was fast and courteous. Trip charge should be a credit toward work, but hey its done. They did it well.

The price I paid was the deductible, since my homeowner's insurance sent them. The work that has been performed in my house has been excellent always, and I would call them even if I don't not have insurance.

Technician was polite, cleanly dressed and well worth the cost per hour of his time. He was able to come within 3 hours of our call (they had had a cancellation) and called ahead to alert us to is arrival 5 minutes before he got here. I am totally satisfied.

I contacted him for service at noon & the repair was completed by 4 PM.

PROMPTLY RETURNED CALLS AND WAS ON TIME FOR SERVICE CALL. COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL.

CAME PROMPTLY. SINCE THE FREON WAS LOW HE LOOKED FOR A LEAK AND DIDN'T FIND ONE, BUT WARNED ME THAT THERE MAY BE A PROBLEM HE COULDN'T DETECT. FILLED UP THE FREON AND TOLD ME TO CALL BACK IF IT STOPPED COOLING AGAIN.

THEY CAME OUT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND REPAIRED THE DRYER. I CALLED FRIDAY AND THEY COULDN'T COME UNTIL TUESDAY, WHICH WAS A MAJOR PROBLEM AND KIND OF ANNOYING SINCE I AM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER, BUT THEY DID SHOW UP THE DAY THEY SAID THEY WOULD, FIXED IT PROMPTLY, AND IT HASN'T GIVE ME ANY PROBLEMS SINCE.

TOOK OUR MICROWAVE INTO THEIR SHOP ON A FRIDAY AND WERE TOLD IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT TWO WEEKS TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM. WE WERE CALLED 13 DAYS LATER TO BE GIVEN THE DIAGNOSIS AND WERE ABLE TO PICK UP THE MICROWAVE THE NEXT DAY.

PERRY WAS ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. HE MADE SURE HE REMOVED ALL STANDING WATER IN OUR DISHWASHER. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. IT TOOK HIM LESS THAN AN HOUR TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND MAKE THE REPAIR.

VERY PROMPT IN RESPONDING TO OUR CALL. REPAIRMAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE PROBLEM. HAD IT REPAIRED WITHIN 45 MINUTES. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING BEFORE HAND AND GAVE ME A PRICE BEFORE STARTING THE WORK.

HE SAID EVERYTHING APPEARED TO BE FINE. THE NEXT DAY THE UNIT WOULD NOT COME ON, THEREFORE THE FAN WOULD ONLY CIRCULATE WARM AIR. THE TECH CAME OUT AGAIN A FEW DAYS LATER BUT OF COURSE IT WAS WORKING AT THE TIME. I EXPLAINED TO HIM AGAIN THAT MOST OF THE TIME THE UNIT WOULD NOT COME ON. HE SAID IT WAS FINE AND THAT I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. AND HE CHARGED ME FOR THE VISIT TO TELL ME THIS. OF COURSE IT STILL DOES NOT WORK MOST OF THE TIME AND THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT COME LOOK AT IT AGAIN WITHOUT CHARGING ME FOR THE VISIT.

THEY HAVE CLEANED AND SERVICED BOTH MY FURNACE AND MY A/C. I WOULDN'T USE ANYONE ELSE. TECHNICIAN IS PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY AND VERY THOROUGH.
