Steve was prompt and professional. He immediately knew where to look to solve the problem, and had the lid switch assembly part on his truck. Labor and the service call charge totaled more than the cost of the part ($61), but I suppose that is the norm these days. There was a 10% off coupon on Angie's List that I could apply toward this visit. It only took him about a half hour to finish the task. I was very impressed with the company and the professionalish of Steve. I will use them again.

We returned from vacation and I threw in the first (of many) loads of laundry into the washer. The washer filled with water, agitated and then stopped abruptly. I disengaged the water hose, tried different cycles and nothing worked. I called Day's Appliance Repair Heating and Plumbing the next morning around 8:30 am. As luck would have it there was a technician in my area and Steve arrived at my house at 10:30 am THAT day. He listened to my problem description, checked something and immediately knew that my problem was a worn switch. I had a Whirlpool washer and he had the repair piece in his truck. It only took about 1/2 hour for the whole transaction. I was even able to ask some other questions about the washer and dryer. Steve was knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. I will definitely call Day's again for any appliance needs I have!

Woman who took the appointment was friendly and courteous. Set it up for the next day between 8-12 and said someone would call. No call, so called them at noon. Was told problem with radio was reason for no call, but tech called 1 minute after I hung up and said was on his way and would be there in a few. 45 minutes more passed and no one showed. Called them again and said something came up and were on their way now. Wasnt called by them to inform and had been told this before . Since I didnt have the time to wait another couple hours, I decided to cancel the appointment.

First service call to diagnose the problem (scheduled a few days after my initial call) and then returned a week or so later when the part came in to do the service. Very professional, prompt, good communication. I would definitely call them again.

Based upon the comments on Angie's List, and the proximity of the company, I called Day's Appliance Repair on Monday morning. I was put on hold 3 times, and the bad part about that was the loud, annoying music I had to listen to. Since it was not an emergency, our appointment was set for Wednesday between 1 & 5 p.m. I was told up front that the service call itself would cost $58. I agreed. The repairman came near the end of the stated time slot. He was terrific. Very friendly & knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem quickly, though he had to disassemble our freezer to get to the fan. He also told us how we might prevent this problem from happening again. The repair cost of $110 seemed high, but most everything seems costly to me. Still, I would definitely use this company again.

The Technician was competent and professional and the work was done within the hour.

I was very pleased with the helpfulness of the technician and the timeliness of the repair. The technician had the part that needed repair available on his truck. Five hours after I called for service my dryer was repaired and I was able to use it again. The technician was also reassuring in his explanation about the cause of the problem. I also got a 10% discount on the parts that were replaced.

We noticed our refrigerator was not cooling correctly on Thursday night before Easter weekend. Due to health and allergy problems I am on a special/restricted diet, and almost all my food must be refrigerated or frozen, and I needed someone to come the same day as my call on Friday or I would not be eating that weekend! I was doubtful I could find someone to come out the same day, and had already been turned down by the closest repairman before I called Day's Appliance. Their receptionist said she'd do what she could and would call me back, and it so happened that the company went out of their way for me, and sent Perry to repair our refrigerator within 90 minutes or so of my call! Perry, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He knew right away what was wrong with the refrigerator, and explained what needed to be done and broke down the cost of repairs. He even had the part in his van. Within an hour, my refrigerator was fixed! I am so happy I called Day's Appliance, they probably don't know just how much I appreciate them sending someone out so quickly. They saved me a lot of stress and possible ill health. I was very impressed with the repairman's knowledge, he went right to work, I thought he gave a fair price, and he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Having the part in the van was awesome, and I'm not sure that would have happened with other repair companies. He explained everything he was doing. The whole experience was positive, I can't think of anything that I was unhappy with. I am very satisfied and will not hesitate to call them again in the future for repairs. I highly recommend them. Called the company on Thurs and they were able to have someone come out the next day to repair my washing machine. My machine would not spin. The repair man (Perry) called when he was within 30 minutes of arriving. The company had given me an 8am to 12pm window and he came around 10:30. Perry was very knowledgable, professional, and personable. He was able to explain the problem in detail and how he could fix it. He even found a problem that I did not know about (the agitator wasn't catching properly so my machine was only cleaning the clothes on the bottom layer!) He provided a fair estimate and replaced 2 parts. He even showed me the broken parts he removed from my machine. Service call $58, parts $53, labor $63. Very pleased with this company.

They were fine. We didn't have any problems. They were professional. They were on time. The guy was quick and neat and clean. He knew what he was doing and got it done.

They did a good job and did not replace parts until they figured out what was wrong.

They were wonderful. I chose them since they had a lot of positive remarks online. I never knew they existed till I read about them and they are just 2 miles from my house. Patrick was the gentleman who came out. They were very polite and accommodating. I really appreciated when I called them, as they were quick in responding to my call. They set a date and also arranged for an appointment unlike so many other service people where you have a window and which sometimes would be for the entire day. The labor wasn?t much, but the heating element was the main cause for my dishwasher. They didn?t have the heating element and the service guy had to go and get it. The cost of the heating element was $126.20. I thought that the price that they charged was reasonable since I have used other people and I knew upfront what their hourly rate was. The same person could do multitude of services and that was vital because if I had to pay three different people for truck charge and service cost then it would have cost me more. I will hire them again in the future and I have already recommended them to a couple of other people.

Both the refrigerator and freezer portions of my side by side started to gradually warm up. I took apart the freezer and discovered the evaporator coils were coated in ice. Initially I just defrosted the coils and hoped the problem wouldn't return...but it did. I figured it was probably the defrost heater or thermostat and toyed with the idea of tackling the problem myself. My work schedule and wife's raised eyebrow both suggested I should consult a professional. Good thing, because when Andrew came out he discovered it was actually the circuit board. He checked all of the other components to be sure they were functional then replaced the board and voila, we had a working refrigerator/freezer.

They did excellent work and I was very pleased. He took the time to explain things to me.

Great. Pat had an opening the same day I called. He was personable and professional. The price was half as much as the other quote we had gotten.

The part replacement did not solve the problem as the larger issue was the failing compressor. However, that was warranty work from Maytag which he could not do so I ended up calling that company's service. However, Pat looked up the necessary compressor number, found availability and then refunded the cost of the part installed the day before as well as his labor. In addition, he was quite responsive to my request for service as he has been here a few times on other Maytag appliances.

They have come out a couple of times. We decided not to have them repair it. We actually just replaced our dryer. They came out the same day I called them. They were responsive and identified the problem really quickly and gave us an estimate for whatever the cost to repair the dryer. Our experience was very good. We would definitely call them again. We usually even ask for the same person. His name is Perry. We ask for him because he knows the appliances so well and is usually quick in fixing things. He also gives us good advice on buying other appliances.

it was a great experience. We have one of the first LGs to come off the boat and have had repeated problems with it. It had to do with the ice maker.

The repair went very well.The technician arrived about 3 hours after we first called.He quickly identified the problem with the refridgerator not cooling well as a locked up motor in the freezer area.Perry had a motor in his van and quickly replaced the motor and got the unit running again.When I asked him what else they repaired,he named some and one was the garbage disposal.Ours hadn't worked in two years.When he saw it was a reset needed on the motor,he got a wretch and fixed it-at no additonal charge! My overall experience,needless to say,was great! I would definately use them again!

I am satisfied with what the guy who came out did. He was honest and did not take apart the refrigerator. He informed me that the electrical supply was the problem.

drain in rear of freezer had frozen over--service man(Steve) said it was rather common--he defrosted line with nitrogen and corrected problem.Very courteous and professional..price was fair and fridge has been leak free.Very impressed and would call them again!!!!!

They were professional in their approach to doing the job. They were also punctual. I will use them in the future.

They did a great job for a reasonable price. They were prompt. I feel like I could trust them to tell me the truth and give me a choice between repairing it and buying a new unit and that they would tell me if it wasn't worth it. He recommended repair because the dryer didn't seem to have any other problem and I appreciated that. I also remembered that my mother had relied on them. I would recommend them.
