Their charges included the cost of parts and labor. They are always very knowledgeable. I have used them in the past. The gentleman that came out knows appliances inside out. He also was very good to either offer me a brand name part or the generic part, so he gave me that choice. They are very up front with their pricing. They are very professional. They talked to me about what my options were. I have used them before and I will use them again in the future.

We awoke early on a Saturday morning and found water on the kitchen floor that was coming from our refrigerator/freezer. We checked the temperature and discovered that the temperature readings in the freezer and refrigerator were at 62-64 degrees. The contents of the icemaker had melted and the food in the freezer was completely thawed. Everything in the refrigerator was warm as well. After no success in scheduling a weekend service call from the GE service center, we checked Angie's List and chose Day's Appliance Repair Company. Our phone call was answered promptly. We described the problem and were told that they would see if a technician was available in our area. Within minutes, they located their technician who was just completing another job and told us that he would come to our home next. We were told the price in advance for the service call and were promised the Angie's List member discount of 10% on any parts that would be required to repair the problem. They also promised to call and let us know when he was on the way. In approximately 30 minutes, Day's called and confirmed that the technician should arrive within 10 minutes. Which he did. Andrew was very courteous and quickly assessed the problem. The masterboard on the unit had shorted out and would need to be replaced. We were fortunate that Andrew had a new masterboard on his service truck. Within 15 minutes, the problem was repaired and the unit was operating properly. We had expected the weekend service and the masterboard to be much more expensive. We found Day's service to be outstanding and the price to be more than fair. We will definitely use them in the future.

He was terrific. Basically, all I really had to pay for was the service call and the Freon. It was a good experience and their prices were reasonable. They were nice and professional. I will use them again in the future.

I loved these guys. They called ahead of their arrival as they said they would. They came on time. The technician (Perry) was efficient, knowledgeable and professional. He fixed my ice maker and make an adjustment to the freezer door so it was sealing properly, saving me the need to replace a seal or other part. I am completely pleased with the service.

I called them Friday morning for an appointment. They were not able to get me in the same day, but next day even though it was a Saturday on the 4th of July weekend which was great. Turns out I was right and the ice maker unit would need to be replaced and unfortunately they wouldn't be able to get the part until later next week. They were there first thing Thursday and were able to replace the unit quickly. Overall I was very happy with the service, but not so happy with the cost of parts. If I had bought the part directly it, even with shipping and tax, it still would have been 15% less than what I was charged; just seemed like an unnecessary markup on the part.

Our Maytag is very difficult to work with (the company quit making them soon after we bought ours) but it turned out to be a simple fix. I think he hopes we never need to call again.

They were prompt and polite. They showed up on time. The motor was getting ready to burn out and they needed to replace it. They worked on the problem right away and explained things to us very clearly. They diagnosed the problem and had to order a motor. They came and installed it. They had followed through right away. I liked the way they worked.

The service was scheduled promptly, the serviceman was on time, and the job was performed well. I appreciated that the service person asked if I was a member of Angie's List and offered a membership discount of 10%. I use Angie's List quite a lot when looking for companies to use but didn't check this time. I will consider using Day's Appliance Repair in the future.

Great Service. The repairman showed up on time, with a uniform and name on shirt. He identified himself and came in. I work out of my home and had a massage client on the table. I explained this to him, and also needed to be out of the house within the hour. He did everything he said he would, in the timeframe I needed and the fridge was working again and he was done by the time I needed to leave. He noticed that I was an Angie's list client and deducted 10% off the parts on my order. He left the old parts and told me I had a 90 day warranty on his work. Fabulous!

Technician disassembled unit and could not find any problem. Told me that everything appeared to be working properly. Indicated that the simply process of disassembling/reassembling might actually take care of problem (re-seating connections, etc.). Dryer has been working properly since that time.

They were good and helpful. They informed me the cost to fix it would be more than a new washer. I just ended up purchasing a new washer.

Day's Appliance was very professional, showed up on time, and fixed the problem. We would use them again and recommend them to others.

The tech was fast and had part on van so the issue could be resolved quickly.

Woke up Saturday morning to find a refrigerator that wasn't working. Called and they were able to send out a guy right away. He was here in a half hour! He immediately knew what the problem was and we had the fridge repaired in no time! Outstanding service.

Refrigerator full of Christmas food went out Christmas Eve morning. Yikes!!! Technician was there within 2 hours and saved our day! Thanks

Great, in general. I had problems with my dishwasher. When he arrived the tech was excellent and gave me good advice and was very polite. However, my only complaint was that I was twice given wrong information about when someone would arrive. I waited one day and when it seemed time was getting long, I called and was told that the tech's car broke down and they "didn't get the chance to call (me) yet". They said someone would be by during the next am. Then was extended to "by 2pm but probably much earlier & someone would call when he was 15 minutes away". I was called at 1:30 that the tech was (finally) arriving. He arrived at 2:10pm. Once here, I was extremely happy w the service and would call them again. I hope the next time is better organized in terms of response.

Had to come back to get ignitors working correctly after replacing them. Day's is contractor through our home warranty. Andrew is courteous and thorough technician.

I was very impressed with Day's. Once we discovered where the water leak was coming from, of course it was around 5:00 pm. Other companies I had used in the past, were already closed. I contacted Day's based on all the recommendations here, they were still working and scheduled someone to come out the next morning. Steve arrived before 9:00, was very professional and fixed the waterline in the most economical way possible. Also, advised us about pulling the refrigerator out in the future. I would highly recommend this company and use them in the future.

It is hard for me to say if this is a good price because it seems expensive but the trade-off was they were repairing a Sub-Zero Regrigerator and he came within 3 hours of calling. They were the only company I could find to come the same afternoon and they resolved the problem promptly and efficiently.

I've used Day's before and have been impressed with the overall courteous and promptness of every one I deal with, from the phone operator to the technician. Steve easily diagnosed the trouble, had the parts on his truck, and was able to replace the parts in a timely manner. When I noticed a few days later that a felt seal was out of place in the drum, I called Day's back. Steve made a return call, at no charge, and quickly fixed the problem.

Not much to say: I called for an appointment, got one for the next day. Repair man came on time, fixed the dishwasher quickly, and was gone.

Actually, the service man arrived earlier than promised, and completed the repair effeciently.

This was the first time using Day?s. They were extremely professional, knew what the issue was immediately and had my refrigerator starting to work properly within an hour. I would use them again.

Don't expect any repair companies to jump at your problem. They are busy. Always ask for when they will be available. If urgent, make sure you ask for emergency service. For example, we had a spare fridge in the garage we use for sodas, etc. When our regular fridge went out, a majority asked if we had alternate fridge available. We freely said yes.

This was my first time using Day's and they were great. The person on phone was friendly & professional, and Steve the technician was prompt (I was given a window of 8-Noon and he arrived around 10AM, after calling about 20 minutes prior to say he was on his way), and he was knowledgeable and friendly as well. He diagnosed the problem immediately, and I was thrilled to learn he had the necessary part right on his truck so there wouldn't be a need to return. (He said this was a somewhat common problem - the IR sensor was bad.) They provide a 90-day warranty on parts & labor. He had the problem diagnosed and fixed and was on his way in just about 30 minutes. Will definitely use them again!
