I?d give Day?s Appliance Repair the highest rating possible. They were efficient, gave me an upfront price for a visit/diagnosis of $90 and then fixed the problem quickly and recommended some optional parts which they offered to order for me but said it wasn?t really necessary. They were great.

Our gas range is old but otherwise in good condition. We didn't want to buy a new one even though ours is about 15 years old. Craftsman replaced the faulty part quickly.

The repairman explained the problem. Our refrigerator is ten years old and I asked if it was worth fixing. He said definitely since the rest of the refrigerator was in great shape. He repaired it quickly and everything is working great.

We have used Day's on several different occasions and cannot say enough good things about this company. They are always professional, punctual and they do quality work. Also, their rates are extremely reasonable. Last week, we called at 3:30 on Thursday and the repairman was here by 4:30. You will not find a better repair company out there!

This was my third time using Day's and I've been super pleased with all three experiences. They are the friendliest, most professional servicemen that I've ever brought into my home. They get you an appt as soon as possible, they give the standard 4hr repair window, but they always show up promptly. They are super friendly, very conscientious of your home and floors, and come prepared with the parts needed to fix the job. The price was extremely reasonable given what other large brand companies have charged us in the past for much inferior service and unprofessional servicemen. I will use Day's on all my future appliance repair needs!

Called to let me know on way. Listened to dishwasher (water was not draining out of the bottom of the dishwasher all the way) and knew right away what the problem was. Got part out of truck and fixed problem. On to the refrigerator, the ice-maker was leaking and water dispenser was not working. Come to find out one part fixed both problems! Cleaned up and left with everything working great and it cost a lot less than buying a new dishwasher. Also, my wife is happy that she can get ice again from the dispenser instead of ice trays!!

The service man was polite and showed us what was wrong. He was even polite to my children when they wanted to see what he was doing.

I called Day's and asked for a service call. They checked with dispatch and said they had someone in the area and could be there in 15 minutes! I happened to still be at home, so that was perfect. The service man arrived, examined the problem, and diagnosed in minutes. He explained what was happening, said he was going to temporarily install a part to make sure that it was the problem, and that there was no obligation to pay until he knew it was the problem and had quoted a price. The relay was the problem as he expected. Price was $150, including the service call. He was gone in less than 30 minutes. Slam dunk!

The service all itself was excellent. The service guy was prompt and worked very efficiently. He also encouraged me to use something more like a nylon stocking to cover the water return hose (rather than the wire mesh "stocking" I was using: he said the metal one I was using puts too much pressure on the water coming from the washer. The only thing that was was of concern to me was that I had originally scheduled the appointment for a certain day but then when I called them a few days later, they didn't have my appointment in their book. Apparently some snafu happened with communication between the morning scheduler and the afternoon scheduler. That whole phone experience with schedulers/scheduling didn't seem too professional to me.

We looked over the list of major repair appliance people in our area and decided to use Day's Appliance Repair. We called for an appointment and they booked us for the following day before 12 noon. The next morning the technician called to let me know he was on his way, and arrived a few minutes early. We had 3 appliances not working correctly, the dishwasher, the refrigerators ice maker and the built in microwave. The technician whose name was Pat got right on diagnosing the problems on each of the units. The dishwasher needed to be partially disassembled as did the microwave to get to the suspect bad parts. Pat knew what he was doing, like he had done it a hundred times before. He worked quickly and after telling me what the cost to repair of each would be, I decided to repair the dishwasher and the refrigerators ice maker. The most expensive part on the microwave was bad, and as it was 11 years old (Pat told me that), I decided to just buy a new one. Pat completed the service on the ice maker that day, however needed to order the circuit board for the dishwasher. Two days later the part was in and the office called to ask if Pat could stop out and install it, which he did later that same afternoon. He wrote the invoice before I had mentioned I was an Angie's List member and once advised, cheerfully adjusted my bill to reflect the 10% discount on parts. Competent office staff, and competent service. I could not recommend Day's Appliance Repair higher.

The whole experience was great. I called on a Tuesday and they had someone at my house Wednesday morning. It took a short time to assess the issue, get part numbers...etc. Parts were ordered and they were back out within a week to install the new parts for our oven.

Our 2-year old Kenmore frigerator suddenly stopping cooling on Monday. Called Sears and they could not get anyone out until Wed. evening. Found this company on Angie's list and called. They set up an appointment on Tuesday Morning. He was prompt, told my husband what had to be done and how much it would cost, and had it repaired in less than 2 hours. He also realized the problem could re-occur and re-designed the piping to make sure the problem would not re-occur. He also told my husband that even though we did not get the extra warranty, we might be covered if we found the manual. He waited several minutes while we located the manual. In the end, we were not covered, but it was nice of him to suggest and nice of him to wait.

The repairman, Pat, was timely, professional and did a quality job. I recommend very much Day's Appliance Repair!

I was given a 4-hour window, notified that the technician was coming about 7 minutes before the end of the window, and he arrived about 20 minutes later. A wasted morning, but the serviceman was personable and professional, explained things clearly and showed me what the problems were. He was able to repair my dryer, but the 11-year old washer was terminal. I appreciated that he didn't try to fix it and cost me money in parts, and I went out to buy a new one. He was done in an hour, and I'd recommend this company to my friends. Good people!

I actually provided the name of this contractor to my sister who had a leaking water dispenser in her refrigerator. She called Day's on Wed 8/8 - they offered a Thurs appt - but she wanted to be there - so she set up a Friday appt. They said they would call within 20 min of the appt ( which allowed her to get home ) . Jay took apart the dispenser, made some adjustments and did some cleaning - and her dispenser water running problem went away ! Happy with the professionalism, reponse time, workmanship, price, and end result.

I was able to obtain a "next day" appointment, which was important. Steve arrived within the timeframe promised. It was a quick diagnosis and then repair. Total time was approximately 45 minutes to replace the heating element. Great experience!

I called the company around eight in the morning and service was started that afternoon .Pat was the technician and did an excellent job in explainingj what he was going to do. Pat willingly answered any and all of my questions.

Our side-by-side refrigerator was not working. Specifically, it was not cooling either side of the unit. I called Day’s Appliance Repair at 10:15 AM. They were able to schedule me in that day with a window of 1 to 5 PM. I was provided an estimate of $58 for the service call and initial diagnosis. I was also advised that the technician’s arrival would likely be at the end of the day as I was a late addition to the schedule. I was told I would receive a call when the technician was on his way. At 3:20 PM that afternoon, I received a call that the technician was on his way. Steve arrived at 3:40 PM. After carefully pulling out the refrigerator, he was able to quickly diagnose the problem, a faulty relay assembly. Steve had the part on his truck. Steve provided an estimate. After installing the new relay assembly, Steve confirmed that the refrigerator was working properly. The total, including the service call and initial diagnosis, was $156.

Both our washing machine + garbage disposal were not working. We called Day's Appliance Repair at, the earliest time, according to Angie's List hours posting, 7:30am and were able to have a tech, Jay, in our home by 12:30pm. Jay was able to diagnose both problems and he repaired them quickly. Jay was also helpful in suggesting measures to prevent future problems. Jay was a very knowledgable and a very pleasant gentleman. It was nice to have one technician able to fix both appliances without having to pay 2 large service charges (instead there was just a $10 charge for looking at the second appliance). We were very pleased with Day's Appliance Repair and we would absolutely recommend them.

WONDERFUL! I CALLED DAY'S BECAUSE MY NORMAL ANGIE'S LIST APPLIANCE REPAIR COMPANY WAS BOOKED AND I HAD A BROKEN WASHER WITH A LARGE LOAD OF CLOTHES IN IT AND I COULD NOT WAIT TWO DAYS FOR SERVICE! JOHN DAY AT DAYS APPLIANCE WAS KIND AND UNDERSTANDING AND HAD SOMEONE NEARBY. I WAS NEXT ON THE LIST. MY WASHER WAS FIXED WITHIN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF FROM INITIAL CALL TO STEVE LEAVING IN HIS TRUCK!!!!! STEVE WAS AWESOME, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY PLEASANT AND POLITE. I'M SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING USING THEM FROM NOW ON!! THANK YOU DAYS APPLIANCE REPAIR CO!!

This was another great experience with Day's. The tech was clean, tidy, and polite. I really appreciate his honesty in telling me to start shopping for a new washing machine, instead of performing a costly repair. He even recommended brands and types of new washers, and we discussed what to look for in a new machine. Day's is the best.

My experience with Day's was wonderful. I called first thing on Monday, Pat, the technician, was at my house by noon. He quickly diagnosed the problem. Luckily, nothing inside the machine was broken - a spring had been knocked off and 2 shock absorbers were out of position.. Pat got it put back together and tested it thoroughly. He also told me what to expect in the way of normal machine sounds, since the machine was new to me. Pat was friendly and cleaned up after himself. Thanks, Day's, for the great service!

They spent extra time going over things to make sure I was comfortable with what they were doing. They answered all of my questions.

The serviceman, Steve, called 20 min before arrival. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. He briefed me on possible future outcomes (if the part failed again) along with pricing, and was very professional. I also learned that even a washing machine can benefit from a surge protector. Apparently, my electronic control panel may have been messed up from a recent electrical storm. Overall a very good experience.

Steve was the Tech's name. He removed entire unit, made an adjustment and re alignment to a "pin" or mechanism, lubed and put unit back together.
