It was fixed in just a few minutes, after he found the miss connection. It was very simple. He charged us only for the service call.

The technician was prompt, polite, and professional. We were able to get an appointment for repair within 24 hours. He kept the area clean while working. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to complete the repair promptly and for a reasonable cost. He noted that while overloading could contribute to the problem, the age of the washer suggested that it was regular wear and tear. He shared his observations of the typical useful life of our make and model of washer.

I called Day's Appliance Repair Company to see if they could replace the boot on our Maytag front-loader washer that had molded. They were able to send a repairman out the very next day. He arrived on time, had the necessary part with him, and was finished within an hour.

The water dispenser stopped working. They would have had to get an entire new side door. Instead we installed a filter on the sink. They were thorough. He seemed to try to find ways to resolve the problem and was very honest regarding repair costs and actually saved us money in the long run.

Super quick to respond. Honest technician about whether to replace or not. Friendly and professional.

I was there while they did the work and watched the services. I was so impressed with them. The repairman that came was professional and polite. I felt like he was just totally honest and it was incredible because he only charged me for the service call and he didn’t think that strip around the dishwasher needed to be replaced so he said the service call was good for 30 days and if they had to come back to fix it they wouldn’t charge us for service call again and that just blew me away. The dishwasher was leaking and he thought they were using too much soap in it and so he didn’t think it was the seal around the dishwasher so what he did was, he got rid of the soap and run the dishwasher and it did not leak when he did that. So he said if it does leak then he will come back and change the seal around it. He was extremely honest. I have not used Angie’s list for me but since I have had that experience I thought, ‘O my God! I think I will start checking’.

Called about stove not working. they came out promptly and decided it was the burner unit, said had to order part and should be in in a couple days, did not here back and had to call them to find out when they were coming and had to insist on them coming earlier than they wanted to, but they did. Very knowledgable of products and i think just a lack of communication glitch happened.

A different compnay's technician came out to clean my air ducts (after some home remodeling), and told me that my air conditioner needed repair. They very quickly sent another technician (actually salesman), who took a 2 second look at my air conditioner and told me I needed a completely new unit - for $6000! Then I called Day's Appliance, who come out the next day. They unplugged the drain line and the unit is still working - nearly a year later. Day's charged me $89. I WILL use Day's again. I've used them for other appliances and always had good experiences.

My initial phone call to Day's was answered promptly and an appointment was made for the following week. The repair tech was prompt, polite and professional. He diagnosed the problem of soap residue build up that was preventing a shut off valve from operating properly. He suggested keeping the soap build up down and how to keep the interior of the dishwasher bright and shiny. The dishwasher has operated fine since. The only charge was for the visit.

It went very well. No one wants to pay for service that isn't needed, but a) I'm glad that it wasn't a large expensive problem b) solving the problems of the wheels constantly falling off was worth the service call to me. We chose not to replace the seal unless we have another problem. It has been a month and no leak so far. Paul did let me know that if it leaks again within a certain time frame (I can't remember what he said.) I would not have to pay another service call. I very much appreciate Paul's honesty. He could have told us that the seal has to be replaced and not shown me how easy it is to do. It is nice to know if I have appliance problems in the future there is a trustworthy company to call.

No complaints and we were impressed with his knowledge and ability to diagnose and fix the problem...plus he had the part on his truck!

When our old washer suddenly quit with no hoises or symptoms we decided to call an independent service provider rather than the factory service desk because of a recent poor experience (large appliance manufacturers now discontinue parts mfr,. after 8 years, and try to pudh you into a new appliance rether than a simple repair.) We selected Day's because of their long term A rating and Angies List Blue Ribbon. Day's responded promptly and conveniently. The service tech was friendly and personable.The repairs were performed quickly and neatly. little or no cleanup was required after he left. It was a little pricey, but so is factory service. We will definitely use this company again if necessary.

They were on time, and the service was excellent. I thought the gentleman came was nice. The pricing was resonable.

My clothes dryer was not rotating. I called in the morning to schedule a service call. A serviceman was out the same afternoon. The belt on my dryer drum had broken. I was advised that the belt looked as if it broke (rather than just wearing out) which could indicate a problem with the pulley mechanism. He said he would replace the belt, but it was up to me whether to replace the pulley also. I replaced both. I was pleasantly surprised they could come the same day I called. The serviceman arrived within the time window I was given. He called about 20 minutes before he arrived. He was friendly, professional and got right to work. When he finished, he leveled both the washer and the dryer and said if there were any problems just to give them a call. An added bonus was the 10% discount for getting their name off Angie's list. I was highly satisfied with the entire experience and would definitely recommend Day's Appliance Repair to friends and neighbors.

First visit confirmed the rim around our washer had to be replaced. The gentleman ordered the part. It came in within the 5 business days he promised and he came right over that afternoon to install it. Accepted the Angie's List coupon. Was polite, on time, and did a great job. I will definitely keep them in mind if I ever have another appliance that needs repair.

The gentleman was on time and went to work quickly taking apart the dishwasher to find the issue. He was very thorough in his diagnostic approach. He discovered the issue in 15-20 minutes. He informed me of the issue, the time it would take to get the parts and the time it would take to have it up and running. We scheduled the follow-up appointment that day. He was on time for the follow-up and in 20 minutes had the dishwasher up and running like new. I would definitely use these guys for any future repairs.

Overall experience went well. There were two gentlemen here and explained what was happening with the appliances.

PAT WAS HERE ON TIME AND ORDERED THE PART THAT WAS NEEDED BUT SCHEDULING PERSON DID NOT HAVE HIM RETURNING TO FINISH THE JOB FOR ALMOST A WEEK TO PUT IN THE NEW PART FOR OUR DISH WASHER. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS BACK AND FORTH PAT RETURNED THE NEXT DAY AND DID A FIME JOB OF FIXING THE DISHWASHER

Better service than expected or envisioned

Pat arrived on time, assessed the problem, and told me what he would do. He explained how the unit worked and the flaw in the defrost drain. He answered all my questions, corrected the problem and was finished in under an hour. He was friendly, thorough and very professional. I would definitely recommend Day's Appliance Repair to everyone. On a side note: I had used Day's Appliance Repair July 22, 2011 for same refrigerator/freezer and to repair my noisy dryer. Pat came to my house in July, looked at my side by side refrigerator/freezer, asked when I bought the appliance, and asked to see my warranty. It turned out that I had one month left on my warranty, so he suggested I call them for service. All the work for the refrigerator/freezer was completed under warranty. My evaporator and compressor were repaired/replaced; the total cost with parts and labor was $1,117.92. All of that was under warranty - thanks to Pat! The pulley on the dryer was replaced and it has worked great since then.rain.

It went great, and the refrigerator was repaired. They charged me only for the trip, not the repair. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Very pleased - initial phone call was answered promptly and they were very helpful and scheduled me right away. They called and gave me a 30 minute notice that the tech was on his way. He was very pleasant, found the problem and got things fixed timely. Gave me good suggestions for "prevention" and maintenance that I can do on my own. Very pleased.

I am very dissatifsfied with this company. They came out on Thursday to service our dishwasher (technician named Pat) who was unprofessional and talked about other clients. He told me that we needed a control panel and that they would have to order it. I asked him what the turn around time on getting the part in would be and he informed me that it typically takes 24 hours when coming from Dayton but he would call me. On Monday, the 24th I hadn't heard anything so called them. The lady told me that the part was not in because UPS was running behind but would call me when the part came in. Once again, as of today, I hadn't heard back so I called again. She was rude and told me that it was because of the holiday. Excuse after excuse. Then said that the part was still at the warehouse and the technician would personally drive up there and get it? She was never apologetic which upset me. I have gone for a week now without a dishwashwer when I was originally told that the part would take 24 hours to come in. My husband was frustrated so he called to speak to manager John and when he expained the situation to John he told my husband that his service men would never say 24 hours and put Pat (the technician) on the phone with my husband who basically called me a liar and said he never told me that but they always put ranges and refridgeradors first and that the soonest it would be is Monday. They also told my husband that they didn't understand what the big deal was! Very unprofessional and rude. I would never make something like that up and to be accused of lying is unacceptable. I will never use them again and make sure to tell everyone about my experience. Once again, I never received an apology even from the manager.

I was impressed that they did not try to sell me a repair knowing that I could buy a whole new unit for about the price of a repair - which I did.

The fridge has been ice free since this modification was performed by Days Appliance in October its now late December so I would say they fixed it. They cleaned out the ice and installed the probe very quickly so that we did not need to worry about spoiled food in the freezer.
