Day's Appliance Repair Co

Got an appointment for the day after I called. Technician called in advance of his coming to the house within the time-frame I was given. Craig, the technician was professional in dress and demeanor. While the repair only took a few minutes to diagnosed and repair, he stayed and explained what had been the problem and told me they have a 30-day service guarantee and should I experience any more problems, they would return. He gave me several suggestions on what to do next (run the machine several times over the next few days on varying cycles) to verify that today's repair was all that is needed.

This is the second time Pat H. has repaired an appliance that wasn't working. The first time was about 3 years ago for an front loader washer that wasn't working. The issue was not easy to diagnose and Pat was relentless. It turns out there was a tiny hole in a tube that caused the washer to not work properly. Pat saved me quite a bit of time and money by engineering a solution instead of ordering the part from the factory. The washer has not had a problem since and works like a champ. The most recent problem was a trash compactor that wouldn't run at all. The compactor is about 2 years old and Pat was not familiar with the design. It took Pat about 30 minutes to determine there was a bad drawer switch. Pat did not have a compactor switch, as it is not common to work on compactors, but used a fridge swich instead. Pat explained the connections, size and voltage was the same for both switches. In other words they were identicial. Pat has a great deal of knowledge and is relentless in finding the issue.

The washer had been overloaded and a part was broken, they came out the same day I called and fixed the broken part. Unfortunately when I went to use it the following day, it still wasn't working so I called and they came right out. The same part had broken again and the technician explained what could have happened, put another part on and it's been working fine since.

I was very pleased with their service. They were able to come out within two hours of my initial phone call and the technician was quite professional and very thorough. I would recommend them to others.

Technician came out to fix the latch on our dishwasher. Gave us a quote of a new latch. we went ahead and had him purchase and install the new latch. After he installed a brand new latch he told us he had to "jimmy" the new piece to fit. We used the dishwasher that evening and it started leaking water from the control panel and underneath the door. We called the next day to say our dishwasher was now leaking. Technician came back out, and now said we needed a new control panel that would cost us another $190. He said he apologized that he did not give us a better inspection the first time. We stated that the leaking did not even happen until after he worked on the dishwasher. We called the office, the secretary was very reluctant to let us speak to the manager. Manager did not call us back, but has the tech call us and quote us a control panel at cost. We called manager again, again secretary was not cordial, manager told us he would need to pass our complaint and request of initial latch cost refund to the owner. Owner called us, we returned the phone call, and have yet to hear back from the owner.

Diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately.

He returned in a few days, and installed the part and told me the bill was only $160. Then he tested the dishwasher to confirm it was working properly, and left. These people are totally professional and know their business. Use them with no fear. I have never been disappointed in choosing Day's and will continue to use them in the future.

I called at 11:30 and was scheduled for 2:00 to 6:00. Steve called at 1:30 to get the model number and serial number, and ask what the issue was. He wanted to make sure that he had any parts that might be needed to fix it. He arrived promptly at 2:00, ran a diagnostic program, and then put the washer through its cycles. No issues were found, but the washer appears to be running fine now. Steve was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient, and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Went great! The repairman (Paul was his name I believe) was extremely helpful. The washer actually ran fine when he was here but he did find a belt that had a worn spot on it so he suggested replacing both belts. He did not have the parts with him but called a nearby appliance part store. They had the part and he told my husband how to replace the belts, saving us about $150 or more. He was great! While he was here we heard a noise in the basement and he thought an animal (maybe a squirrel) had come down our chimney and he tried to get it out! Way above and beyond! Would definitely use this co again.

The repairman was on the job within an hour of calling. They found the problem and fixed it quickly. They are consistently fast, reliable, and friendly

Found them this morning on Angie's. Decided to give them a try for a recurring dishwasher issue and they came out same day and problem is now resolved with minor adjustments.

Excellent service. Our LG refrigerator had stopped cooling. I called late morning, and the scheduled a repairman to be out between 1pm and 4pm the same day. I was at work, and the wife was home. He arrived at 1pm, diagnosed the issue, and called me to tell me the problem was the evaporator fan needed to be replaced. He told me what the total price would be. I authorized the repair. He had to go get the part, and returned and had it installed. He called me again to let me know my fridge was working fine now. The repairman was named Allen. He did a great job and was professional.

Steve and I still don't know why my dishwasher stopped working, but it started working when Steve touched it. It's nice that their service fee is good for 30 days, just in case it stops again :)

We called Days Appliance Repair and someone was sent out the next day. Pat was punctual, kind, and very knwledgeable. He got right to work and completed the job in about 20 minutes. Our washer stopped working. Pat arrived at the scheduled time and found the problem promptly. He replaced the safety switch that stopped working. The safety switch tells the washer not to run when the lid is opened so the washer shut down.

Service was excellent. They were very clean while working in my home and on time for the job.

It was great. We came home from vacation and the refrigerator was warm. I called Day's this morning and they were wonderful - scheduled me for this afternoon. Pat was the service tech and explained what he saw when diagnosing the problem and how to fix it. He replaced the circuit board and fan which was a fraction of the price for a new refrigerator. Once again, I'm really pleased with the Angie's List recommendation and would highly recommend Day's Appliance Repair to my friends.

I called in the morning and got a same-day visit. The repairman's name was Pat, and he was excellent! He was able to immediately see where the problem was, find the cause quickly and get the necessary part replaced from his truck. He clearly knew refrigerators inside and out and was able to explain everything to a layman clearly. He provided some advice on maintenance and also thoroughly checked our icemaker and water line which had not been working for some time. (The problem was in the plumbing, so he did not fix it, but he explained how I could take care of that myself.) Pricing was very reasonable, and the visit includes a 30-day guarantee with no subsequent service call charge if follow-up is necessary within the 30 days. I would gladly use Day's Appliance Repair again, and would ask for Pat by name if he's available. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. For honesty's sake, I gave a B for punctuality because we were given a 2-5pm window and he was not able to arrive until shortly after 5. With same day service on an essential appliance, this seems very minor to me, especially for a cross-town service provider. I really couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Needed as sanity check on a washer with a bad transmission. Very happy with the service and they came out on very short notice. The technician took the time to help me with reccomendations for a replacement unit, which was greatly appreciated.

The refrigerator was freezing the food and the water dispenser didn't work. When the repairman arrived he assessed the situation, then he ran a diagnostic on the computer part of the appliance, and within about 10 minutes he had figured out what the problem was. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything to us, he fixed the problem and was out of the house in less than an hour.

They were able to fit me in quickly. Was quick and clean, he explained the problem and had the parts on hand. Was able to get it all fixed before my food thawed! and he cleaned up (put the food back in the freezer) and was out before my preschooler came home. Perfect!

The service tech were great and very helpful. The responsiveness and communication from the customer service/administrators was less than pleasant. The one girl I spoke with (Stephanie) was extremely rude and it took two calls just to get her to schedule the repair. Her attitude alone will not make use this company again.
