The old bushes were removed by cutting them flush with the beds. The beds were nicely shaped and the new bushes were installed as agreed. The mulch was installed over the old roots and leaves and bulbs without further soil preparation. The job was done 2 weeks late and only after I made a follow up call. The layout was not overly attractive and I ended up adding plants later to get a nicer effect. The plants were of good quality and lived through the dry summer (with watering). Overall, the job was amateur and the curb appeal was average.

Started great with a reasonable price. Yard was nicely mowed and all edges were trimmed on sidewalks and flower beds. After 2-3 months, I asked him to decrease the frequency to every 10-14 days. He stopped showing up then, which was just when I listed the property for sale. I assumed he had quit. He finally called me in late fall and wanted to know if I had more work. I had to ask for a bill for the summer, which finally arrived in December and did not include credit for my previous payments.
