Curry Electric is family-owned and operated, serving the tri-state area for over 30 years doing residential, light industrial, commercial electrical work and electrical property maintenance. Our bucket truck has a 40' boom. We are trained in locating and repairing underground faults. We were the first contractor in Cincinnati to be trained in the AMP copalum repair for aluminum wiring. We have membership in the Greater Cincinnati, Anderson and Clermont Area Chamber of Commerce, National Fire Protection Association, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, and the Greater Cincinnati Electrical Association and are WBE Certified. Our combined experience of over 70 years in the electrical service industry give our customers a great wealth of experience. Curry Electric strives to employ only highly qualified Electricians all of which are paid by the hour, not on commission. We stand behind our work, our employees, and our materials. Your satisfaction with our services is our highest priority. SERVICE CALL RATES: $75 (1/2 HR. TRAVEL MAX), JOURNEYMAN $120/HR, & APPRENTICE $60/HR. OVERTIME RATES APPLY AFTER NORMAL WORK HOURS. Description of Work: We bought a house that had largely aluminum wiring and wanted to get it up to code with copper. They did the Amp Copalum Re-Connection on 150 openings in the house and were in our house for 3 days while we simultaneously moved, had movers in and out and tried to make sense of the place. They replaced some lighting fixtures with new ones that we liked better to fit our style at no additional cost. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. They did not inconvenience us at all. Highly reco for this type of work. There are not many companies in the city that do this service and I talked with them all. I felt the most comfortable with Cooper and happy with the quality of work. | | |

Description of Work: They replaced a vintage, 1955 circuit box with a much safer new one, ran a wire to the motor of a recently installed garage door opener and installed a 220 volt outlet in the garage. All went extremely well and I'd gladly use their services again.
