Lili and Gicela arrived right on time. What a great team. One can tell they have been working together for quite some time as they compliment one another. They completed our original work list in two hours. They did such a great job that we expanded our to do list to include the basement work we wanted to have done for several years. And, all basement work was completed in a professional manner. The team does not stop; It's go, go, go from the time they walk in the door. We appreciate the work the team completed. Definitely will use Cullen Electric for future electrical service needs.

We discovered Cullen Electric several months ago through a special they offered on Angie's List. We were thrilled with the work they did then, so called them back when we had a new to-do list. Once again we were beyond satisfied with the work of Lily and her assistant. They are quick, careful, efficient, thorough, and extremely diligent. We had a long list of things that needed doing to complete our kitchen upgrade. Lily suggested a couple more to deal with safety issues -- which we really appreciated. Their professionalism and friendliness makes them a pleasure to deal with and the quality of their work really inspires confidence. Plus, it's really nice to have workers in the house who really are considerate about cleaning up after their work. We would recommend them without any reservations and definitely will call them again.

They arrived on time, started work promptly and removed the two old fixtures. They installed the two new fixtures without issues and cleaned up after themselves. Overall they did a great job.

Everything went fine. Both electricians were very courteous and professional. I appreciated the fact that they took off their boots and put on shoes that would not track dirt inside/outside the house. I was pleased with all the work that was done, and the suggested recommendation on future wiring. The only problem I had was not with the work performed, but with a 'trip' charge. This was a special deal, and I did not read in the details any mention of a trip charge over 20 or 25 miles.

Great job by two great professionals. I would recommend them to anyone who needs competent work done at a decent price.

The electrical services were performed efficiently and the ladies were very informative and answered all my questions.

They were professional and personable. Fixed our chandalier and installed other light as well as gave advice when we asked on other electrical issues in our 100 year old home. Went right to it and completed work efficiently, they even replaced a switch plate on another switch they did not work on We would call them again!

We had our basement completed a few years ago and had some electrical work done for the completion of the basement at that time. Last fall, we moved some furniture around and found that a floor electrical outlet above the basement was dead. Years ago, we also had wanted to have a switch to turn on the basement entry light, but the original electrician was unable to do make the switch work after installing it. We had found on Angie's list, the $99 special with Cullen Electric for 2 hours of electrical work and we hoped to get our problems resolved. Arriving as scheduled, we had a very professional pleasant young lady electrician and her assistant work diligently to find the source of the problem--the original electrician had cut the line to the floor switch. The electrician from Cullen found and repaired the problem efficiently and restored electricity to the outlet. She also determine the problem with the basement light switch that the first electrician did not resolve. She was able to repair the electricity to the switch so it was functional as we had desired it to be years ago. All work was completed efficiently in the allotted agreed upon time frame. We were very pleased with the professional work done by Cullen Electric and would recommend their services highly.

The electricians came the day I called for help. Overhead lighting in the kitchen was shorting. The need for a new lighting unit was explained, along with the advantages, namely more light for less power, and I agreed. They had to get the new overhead unit at Home Depot, returned, did the installation, and cleaned up. I am very happy with the results.

It went very well. I will use them again for future projects.

They worked from the service panel in the garage and put a line into the family room for the outlet. I had to call them back when the heater caused lights in the house to pulse on and off again. The owner came personally to check all the wiring inside and concluded it was good. He also checked the service line entrance into the house. He did this at no extra charge. (He considered the problem to be the service line entrance into the house or at the power pole. And from there I had Duke Energy try to diagnose it. They sent out trucks four different times and finally decided there was not a line or related problem--unless it might possibly be related to to the Smart meter. I then contacted the manufacturer of the heater who said they have never had such a problem with 1.5 million units being sold each year in 22 countries. He suggested trying the heater in a neighbor's house, and I will be undertaking that soon.... ) It turns out I really did not need the outlet in the first place, because the power requirements of the heater did not warrant it.

We purchased an Angie;s certificate for 1 hour of electrical service. We provided the light fixture. Unfortunately the light fixture that we purchased was going to require much more labor than we had estimated. Curran drove to Lowes and purchased the correct fixture and replaced it. We were concerned that our 1 hour of service would be eaten up by the drive time but they were more than fair and waived that charge! We would recommend them and use them again.

The workers arrived late, but had called to let me know and were so apologetic. They worked hard, swiftly, and efficiently. They were friendly and self-sufficient, and they gave me lots of advice about future work I could consider, but never oversold me on anything I wasn't ready or willing to do. I am happy to hire them again to do a bit more work on the wiring in my house. I look forward to seeing them again!

I was contacted by the owner of Cullen Electric who was very friendly and able to get us on their schedule within that same week. When the work was to be done 2 electricians arrived. We discussed the work desired then they got to it. I was impressed by the speed in which they were able to get the work done and the quality once it was completed. Only, issue was that I was promised a followup call the next week to install a bracket that would make the outdoor light vertical vs. at slight angle of the siding. This call had not been done.

When I purchased this deal back in October, it was to check three fixtures and replace a chandelier. However, when I called to have the work done, I was told that if the fixture was more than 12 feet high, this deal wouldn't cover it. I checked the fine print on my coupon, it did not say that. Also, the first time I called, I was told they would fit me into the schedule the next week, when I didn't hear from them after two weeks I called again and got scheduled for the week before Christmas, I got a call the day they were supposed to come and was told that the provider had a sick child, so we rescheduled for this week. The deal was for 2 hours of electrical service, but since I didn't have the fixtures for the other problems, they spent 20 minutes and that was it. There was no offer to fulfill the remaining 100 minutes and install new fixtures at a later date. I do not feel that I got my money's worth.

They checked out the wiring and said it was good, then installed the light and took case of a couple of other minor items for me. After they had left the light did not come on consistently and flickered on occasion. I called them and they came right out. Ultimately they replaced all of the wiring for the light and both switches. I can understand not being able to find a intermittent electrical problem the first time and was pleased with how they handled getting the issue resolved.

Great experience. FIrst time buying a 'deal'. Prompt return of messages. Great communication throughout before, during and after the work. Detail orientated, thoughtful, considerate workers. Professional all the way. I would use them again for sure.

Went very well. They called to let us know that they were running a few minutes behind schedule --- but it was very few. Most people would not have even called it was so close to the appointment time. They did all of the work within the time frame covered by the Angie's List Deal ---2 hours for $99. Our bill was more because we had some old faulty parts that they had to go get replacements for at Lowes. So we had to pay for the parts.

First of all I was surprised to see two ladies show up to do this work. But being handy with my hands myself, I was pleased and felt certain they would be detailed and thorough. I was not disappointed. They completed my lengthy list and did it good naturedly.

We purchased an Angie's list coupon from this company for 120 hours of electrical work. The company was prompt to call us and discuss the necessary services. They were responsive and quick to schedule the date of service. They were also proactive and had an electrician come out ahead of time to determine materials that would be needed. The service provided was efficient and of excellent quality. We were very pleased and would definitely use them for future work.

I purchased a Big Deal for 2 hours of work for $99. They worked with me to accommodate my work schedule (which meant they came out on a Saturday), and arrived on time. They found the problems quickly and got a lot more done than I had expected. Everything is working just fine now and I would not hesitate to hire them again.
