 + -1 moreSteve did a phenomenal job. He is very skilled. He removed the rotted threshold and landing area, reinforced the base of the threshold with cement, and then rebuilt the threshold and landing, stabilizing and supporting the landing underneath. It looks better and feels more stable than the original. He also installed larger and more stable foundation support poles in the basement. Steve worked efficiently and communicated well what he was doing. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: We needed to have the threshold of our basement door as well as part of the landing completely replaced because of water and termite damage. We also had new foundation support poles installed in the basement.

 + 3 moreHe is a superb guy with attention to detail. I can recommend him to anybody that wants to do any type of renovation. He is a great human being and great to work with. He is very conscientious and checks everyone’s work to makes sure it is done right. He is a great general contractor.
Description of Work: He replaced the walls, baseboards, painted, and is doing the carpet replacement that was damaged from water intrusion. He has also remodeled 4 of our bathrooms.

 + -1 moreThey had only two weeks to do this and they finished it on time. We did a lot of planning before hand. The kitchen was completely gutted and they put it back together in two weeks. They did a very good work.
Description of Work: I had the complete kitchen remodeling done by Cowan's Custom Carpentry.

 + -1 moreSTEVE COWAN'S WORK ON BOTH PROJECTS WAS EXPERTLY DONE. ESPECIALLY NOTEWORTHY IS THE JOB HE DID ON BLENDING THE NEW WALL EXTENSION (SHEET ROCK) WITH THE OLD WALL (PLASTER). STEVE IS ALSO VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH.
Description of Work: INSTALLED PREHUNG FRONT DOOR AND STORM DOOR AND REPLACED MOLDING AND DOORBELL. REMOVED HANDRAIL ON STAIRS TO BASEMENT, EXTENDED WALL AND BUILT NEW WALL WITH DOOR; ADDED LIGHT FIXTURE AND SWITCH.
