Perfect. They were responsive in answering questions and scheduling the work. More than happy to take us in to see under the car and explain what the issues were, and what was being fixed. Not thrown at all w/ a VW diesel, and very knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.

My 2010 Chevy Equinox stopped going forward or backward one fall afternoon. I had a moment of panic, but was connected via referral to Cottman Transmission. I had a full warranty on the purchase of this vehicle and was very grateful to Mike and his team for doing all the "dirty work" for me. They contacted the insurance company, coordinated with the inspectors and adjusters and kept me in the loop at every move. They did not delay in getting the parts ordered and worked hard to get the car back to me on time. When I let them know I wasnt going to be able to get a ride to their shop to pick up my car they faxed paperwork back and forth to my hubands office and took payment over the phone allowing us to come get the vehicle in the evening using my spare set of keys. They also let me know of some issues they found while they were testing and test driving the vehicle in a no pressure manner. When I asked that they give me quotes and help me determine if any of it was covered under the warranty they happily agreed to do so. I will happily return to Cottman for future automotive repair.

I purchased this car used and within a week it started going into "limp" mode which disables many things on the car. Took it to the used car seller and they couldn't correct it. Took it to a Volvo dealer who wanted to replaced the transmission at their prices and labor. That was more than I paid for it or the blue book value. The service advisor recommended Cottman and that's where I took it. The people at Cottman were extremely understanding, polite, and professional. They truly went above and beyond to rectify this very challenging repair. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. They should be listed in dictionaries as the definition of professionalism. Couldn't be happier !

They did okay on the oil change. They quoted me a brake job that was way over priced. It was almost double the price. They did not change my air filter as requested either.

They did fine. They got to it very quickly. The clutch went out I stopped over. They had it for a day and they jumped right onto it. The service was very quick and professional. It was really a good company to work with. The price seemed to be very reasonable and have not had a problem with it since then. I don't think I could have gotten any better anywhere else. Responsiveness is perfect. They have had it done when they told me they were going to get it done. They were all right there and they handled everything perfectly. Very professional. I have suggested other people to use them.

They were very quick. It took a couple of days. I had the same thing done in February of last year at a different place. It cost about the same thing, but it took him like a week or ten days to do it. Their price was comparable to what I paid earlier. The only thing I did not like was that their warranty was only 90 days. I would probably use them in the future. I might shop around. It was kind of odd because when I looked online and it is a national chain. The national chain had complaints, but the locals did not. They were rated very well so I went to a place that was close.

I think they did a fine job. They were not good or bad.

I looked elsewhere to see what was wrong and cost estimate. I was recommended Cottman's for good service and when arrived they checked my vehicle on the spot!! When they called with the problem and estimate it was exactly what others dedected and at a comparable cost. Haven't had any problems arise with the maintenance work performed.

Our 2003 Acura TL started slipping badly. Took it to Cottman for a diagnosis. Charge applied to the work. In addition to needed a replaced transmission, found 3 of 4 motor mounts broken, and replaced them at parts cost only. Also replaced both front axles (CV joints were cracked, and cost of each axle was 150, so a good deal for CV repair). On time, very professional. They know what they are doing.

It has been a good experience. They do an okay and fair job.

I don't know if I could you an honest or accurate opinion. I think everything was okay. I mean we weren't thrilled but we weren't upset with anything but we wouldn't go back again. They repaired and fixed everything but we ended up trading in the car to a dealer a few months afterwards. We didn't have any future problems.

I am still using them. The price is competitive, and I have had a number of things done there.

From what I understand they put the wrong fluid in it so they are now actually fixing the transmission right now at a different Cottman shop in Illinois. They are polite and they do return the calls.

Whenever I have an issue that's where I would go. They do the work right and I've never had any problems.

It turned out fine. They did the work in the least amount of time. Everything was good. I would use them again.

I used them for my daughter's car, the work was satisfactory. Unfortunately she towed the car 2 years later. They did a good job, and she did have to take it back once or twice for adjustments, but over all, they did a good job. They did it in a timely manner, and the price was competitive, it was less than the dealership.

They seemed to do a good job. I am getting some transmission problems again. I have taken it to them once, and they did some corrective action on things should have happened, but I need to get it in again. In general I am pretty pleased, because I have a problem, but they are responsive.

They did what they said, and they said what the did. The work turned out fine, and we would recommend them to somebody else.

The work turned out very good, the customer service was excellent, and they squeezed me over the holidays.

They were fairly sure that their diagnosis would fix the problem and it did.

We would definitely use them again.
