Description of Work: I purchased the big deal $299 for Skilled Handyman for Full 8-Hour Day. He came out right away to give an estimate but he never followed up afterward. They were not responsive to my calls and my emails. They never gave me the actual estimate either.

Description of Work: Dave Beck, the owner of Classy Craftsmen, came to our home on September 19th to make estimates for replacing the steel door and frame between our laundry room and garage as well as installing crown molding in our living room and front hallway. Dave told us that we would have these estimates to us by e-mail within the next few days. To date (October 8th) we have not received these estimates nor have we received a return of the follow up call I made to Dave about a week ago. We have now ruled out this company due to their lack of responsiveness.

Description of Work: I can send the email exchange if needed, but it was a horrible experience and I was upset they would not honor the coupon as it was stated. He wanted to use the funds for work I had not requested

Description of Work: Does not return phone calls. Tried to reach a couple of times to take advantage of current deal and never responded. I have plenty of work and own several houses and can always use a good handyman but wont recommend or use them. They don't seem to be interested in my business.

Description of Work: I called Classy Craftsmen for an estimate. The owner came the next day and looked at everything we wanted done. He said he'd be back to us in a few days with a price - no call was made to us. After a week I called and left a message asking him to return my call and discuss an estimate. I received no calls. I'm assuming he's very busy because of the special deals he was offering and I know that others have given this company a good report because of their work. But, busy or no, they should have returned our call and given us the estimate they promised or told us they were too busy. We don't want any thing done - just reporting what happened. We'll use someone else from the list.

Description of Work: The owner came out, looked at the work to be done, promised to get back to me, and then never did. All the while he was looking at other "work" needed to be done in his "opinion" and came across as a slick operator with an agenda. I assume he is extremely busy, but that is no way to do business. If you do not intend to provide services to someone, do not lie about it. It is o.k. to be honest and state you will not be taking the job. That is good business. Disregarding a customer is not.

Description of Work: Needed handyman services to put up bookshelves, hang curtain rods, general work assembling.

Description of Work: Repaired a crack in the drywall in the bathroom ceiling. Worker was very professional and tidy about his work and clean up

Description of Work: I requested estimates for various projects in my house in either late 2010 or early 2011. I don't recall the exact date. The owner of the company was very prompt in responding and came over to my house as requested. We went through things in my home, and I gave him a priority list of things I wanted to be completed, and he let me know what he thought would be more important. He made a folder with my name on it and a list of the projects that we wanted completed. He said he would price them and get back to me. He never got back to me with prices, so I went with other providers. I had heard good things about this company, and I was hopeful to use just one company for mutliple projects, but because he didn't provide me with any follow up or provide me with the prices, I just moved on.

Description of Work: He missed the initial appointment for estimate, we had to call him to find out where he was. He said he lost our number. After showing for the second estimate date he said he would get back with us within the next couple of days with estimate price - he never did. I wanted one of the projects done within a timeline due to an upcoming house party we were having - he said it would not be a problem to accomplish. He never even started, never even called us. Very diss appointed! We had several projects remodel jobs that would have been well worth his time and pocketbook

Description of Work: i had exactly the same experience as a couple others on the list. Dave came over looked at the job, said hed call back to set date but never did. no respect.

Description of Work: Installed three cabinets that was provided by owner. Installed a shelf with a hang-up rod for clothes - Also hung a broom/mop device. Had to cut a hole through one of the cabinets to insert dryer pipe.

Description of Work: Service was not performed. Dave came to my house to view the work I would like to have done.Dave said he would email me an estimate. I contacted Dave via email two times regarding estimate of work to have done.After waiting a week he responsed to my email and said he would send me an estimate. Another week later and im still waiting on an estimate.

Description of Work: I needed my caulking replaced in my shower. I wondered if I would be able to find anybody who would do it since it was such a small job. When I called Dave he said "yes, I would be happy to come over and look at your shower". He was prompt and we decided he would come back the next day to do the job. I told him how my toilet didn't flush very good and he said there was a new one on the market and it had a higher seat so that with my bad back it would be much easier to sit on. He took care of everything. Picked it out, picked it up, delivered it, installed it!! I will definitely recommend his company to all my friends.

Description of Work: I had a contractor leave an uncompleted job creating a closet in a basement room. CC responded quickly to my call for help and came and listened to what I wanted to have done (mostly finishing work, but some of the shelving was pulling away from the wall before it was even used, so they anchored it to studs). They made some alternative (and more costly) suggestions, but were happy to do what I wanted them to do. They were flexible on time to start the job and they came and completed it in a timely manner.

Description of Work: I called them for an estimate. The person I talked to was a polite gentleman. He told me he was busy at the time, so I expected it to be a while before he came out. I ended up going with someone else before he was able to do the estimate, but he was very responsive in calling me back and following up with me.

Description of Work: Had a shelf hung up, shower head replaced and a toilet fixed.

Description of Work: They performed many handyman tasks around my house.
